We enjoyed our stay at Alamis apartments. Got married in Tsilivi and everyone at Alamis was fantastic in making this occasion special. A big hello to Nick and Nigel who were excellent behind the bar - good entertainment all day long from these 2, kept the kids happy. Watch Nick for the ice cubes though. Great place to stay, close to all amenities - beach, shops, restaurants. Very clean and friendly. Slight noises on a night from pool bar but some nights that was us making the noise too. Cant wait to go back in a couple of years.
The apartments themselves werent too bad but being only 14yrs old i found the owners very moody. the bar men were pretty cool but the owners didnt even make an effort to communicate after all we are paying their wages. Although i wouldnt go back to them apartments i wouldnt say they were that bad and i would defo go back to tsilivi. p.s try manos grill the best place in greece.
Has anyone stayed at the Bella Vista aparments before. We have booked the Studio and are going in September. Any details would be good .. their website looked OK.
I have just got back from Tsilivi, after spending the best two weeks ever, there with my boyfriend. It is a very family/couple place, but we had so much fun and met so many people. Any one that says that Nick doesn't smile obviously wasn't much fun, because it is him that makes the apartments what they are :) Watch out for his bug trick - i lived in fear while around the pool! The rooms are simple but very hot! Get a fan as soon as you arrive, or hope you get air con. The whole place was really friendly and we enjoyed every minute of it. I hope i get to go back soon!
Please advise if the Alamis apartments have a pool table, table tennis or what ammenities are on offer.is there any tennis courts at this resort many thanks
we came back from the alamis two weeks ago but it feels like two lifetimes. i would like to make the following points:- 1. nick does smile 2. panos does smile they are the best apts we have ever stayed in and they are still keen to improve. the owners, panos and anastasia work their a**es off from 8am to after midnight every day and walk round looking knackered. nick at the bar is a bit of a joker and nigel is a good bloke too although he moans when the bar is quiet and moans when it is busy! russell the rep is a dead good bloke and everyone there, nige, nick, panos, anastasia and russell did everything they could to make sure our stay was ok. we had an 18 month old with and they loved him to bits. please remember lisa, ashley and billy to them
We stayed in May 2001 in the basement apartments, which was o.k. at least it was cool, but like some others have said the owner did not smile very much at all. and nick only smiled if you were buying from the bar. We would not go back there. We are going to Kalamaki in 3weeks time.
Hi I went to Tsilivi last year and loved it, I stayed at the Alamis apartments and it is great there!! Nice rooms, quiet, tidy, and lovely owners. If anyone can give me any info to wether nick the dundee man is working there this year I would really appreciate it!! Pleeease I'm desperately trying to find him thank you. Babykarl2000@yahoo.com p.s have a great time I know I did!!!
if you are in the new block good size apartments the owner could smile a little bit more wonderful fruit shop opposite
If you want to be able to breathe at night in the heat, you have to leave the windows/shutters open but then you can't sleep because of the racket coming from the bar/pool area and the Planos next door. Apart from that it was good; nice pool area and bar (which is a rip-off but that's only to be expected). Finally saw Nick the Bar Steward smile towards the end of our second week. Never witnessed one from the owner, Panos.
We stayed in the Athina, which is an annex of the Alamis. Spacious, clean rooms, pretty basic. Alamis has a very good pool. Greek night on Saturday was good.
If anyone is going, watch out for Nick's prank with the dead beetle, or the oversized grasshopper. Revenge will still be sweet. Take your own fan. We did. It's probably still there - the only one with an english plug. Oh yeah, and if you haven't got kids, don't go in the school holidays. Love kids, but you'll never get a lie in if you have an apartment overlooking the pool. And as for the reps, well, the phrase 'chocolate teapot' springs to mind. Go to the Welcome Meeting and you might just warrant a 'hello', but don't count on it. Had a fantastic time though.
We booked a grd floor, garden view (thats a laugh),air conditioned room with a cot. we got a second floor, pool view with noise,no air conditioning and no cot. The room was for 4 people and a baby. what we got was a room for 2 with 4 beds and not enough room for a cot. the apartment charged £20 a week for fan hire you can buy the fans locally for £14. The rooms are stiffling. The holiday was booked with Olympic and they did absolutely nothing. The rep told us the booking office tell the customers they can have what they like and leave it to thereps to sort out. You have been warned!
Many thanks to Panos, Tassia and Nick the entertainment manager behind bar we had another brilliant holiday can't wait for next summer.
Just to add to my review of the Alamis - a big hello to Nick the Barman and Natalie the Rep from probably the only woman to have a lens of her spectacles pop out during the vigourous pool side games!!!! Still, at least we won!! Balloons are an essential in our bedroom now!
My boyfriend and I have just returned from a week in Tsilvi at the Alamis apartments and we had a fantastic time. The rooms were simple but very clean and we had no complaints. As for the pool! I've never seen one so clear and clean! Everything about these apartments was first class and I wish we were still there!! It is about 2 mins walk to the beach and about 1 minute's walk to the main street of the town - everything is basically on your doorstep! Hope you have as a great a time as we did!!
I am going to stay in the Alamis Apartments and would like to know how close it is to the beach and town, and how nice is the beach nearby and are their watersports?
We stayed at the Alamis last year had a lovely holiday we liked it so much we are going back this year.
we have just returned fom getting married in zante and this is here we stayed. it was excellent and i can't waitto go back. the rooms were clean and i don't think they were too basic compared to other apartments we have stayed in in greece. we had no problems with hot water, we had plenty of that. the owners pano and tassia arranged a wonderful wedding party for us which made our day really special and nick dundee the barman was great.
This is where we stayed and found the apartments very clean but basic. Seemed to be a lack of hot water due to solar heating but not a major problem. Just need to be up early in the morning. Pool bar serves some great cheap snacks and the staff are very friendly.
