I have just come back for Georgia ( Third time, also 22 years to Tsilivi) I would say they are typical Greek apartments, above average and kept clean and tidy. Their pool and pool bar are nice too. They are in a very central location close to all the shops, bars and tavernas, I have my favorites but you are spoilt for choice. Although central still only a nice 10 minute stroll to the beach. If you have not been before and want to see the shipwreck and blue caves, go with Captain Spiros on Levante Speedboat, by far the best way. Buses to Zante town are good and taxis are quit cheap too.

All these comments are quite old, has anyone got an update on the hotel and surrounding area as im going in September this year and want to know where's good to go.

Hi, we are just back from zante, went for one week starting 3rd June, 2007. We had a cheapie, as we are both pensioners, and got a good deal to the above apartments. I would like to say we were very pleased with these apts. The maid cleaned every day, made beds and clean towels. Although they are quite basic, they are very clean. They were also right in the middle of everything, which was handy, and a large supermarket was right next door. There was a lovely swimming pool and pool bar, whcih was open quite late, but couldnt hear any noise, once in apartment. If you get a cheapie, I think you will be pleasantly suprised.

hi again we are coming over to tsivili on the 21st so not long to go now we r really excited not long till we get on that plane lol hope its still hot when we get there whats the weather like there. we will be down sometime on the firiday we get there to say hi to everyone at the georgia and we are gonna be coming back there next august so we can't wait for then

we went to the georgia apartments for 2 weeks and we loved it the maid was scary and didnt talk any english she would come in our room and shout in greek  watch out for pete he'll have you in the pool at night with all his friends its in a great location with mcdonldz just across the road and traffic bar next to it and other bars near. we miss zante so much 

We go on the 10th September for 2 weeks, so you will arriving near the end of our holiday.  We couldn't get the Georgia apartments for that first week so we have booked into Dinos apartments.  We will need to visit Georgia though to say hello and also to have some more of their Greek Salad - I used to enjoy them when we were there in May.  Like you, we can't wait to go back!!!

hey Daniel i think you will have a great time in tsivili some great bars to go are paradise, magdelenas bar and the joker karaoke bar in magdelenas bar stay clear of dimitri's special cocktail they are dangerous drinks but you need to be drunk to have one we went on the island cruise and we seen 2 loggerhead turtles swim right up close past the cruiser we went on the same cruise last year and we seen 4 dolphins so we have had some luck on this cruise we are thinking of trying the jeep safari when we go back in september hope you have a great time

hi irene what room did you stay in yeah thats us we was there from the 12th to the 26th of may have emailed that address that bridget put on here but got no reply back i can get rices on the gergia for this year but can't get any prices for next summer so hopefully will find something soon for the georgia if the weather is as good as it was in may then it will be great have you been to any other greek islands as we are going to kos next may for the first time?

Dan, I don't think you will be disappointed.  As far as excursions are concerned, we never bother most of the time when we go abroad, we do our own thing, but I believe there are plenty of good ones around which I'm sure someone else will let you know about.  If you have never been to Tsilivi before either, I think you will enjoy this resort.  There's plenty there, but it's also still a fairly quiet resort - well compared to Laganas anyway!!  We will definitely go again - if it comes up at the travel agents in September we wouldn't say no!!!

Ok, now i'm getting fairly excited, lovin the user reviews of the georgia apartments. Me and my girlfriend go for two weeks on 6th July.

They are definitely good apartments and Olympic would be mad to let them go.  I did see them on the internet a few weeks ago (because we were thinking of going there again in September) but the prices were quite high, so we are going to wait and go the travel agents that we normally go to and hopefully they will come up on their screen and also be a bit cheaper (maybe a last minute bargain)!

Hi thanks for that information have tried that email address myself but got no luck either have just emailed them have spoke to olympic and i'm still waiting on them finding out any information for me but i can't see them getting rid of the georgia apartments as they are one of the best apartments for everything when was you there from. We stayed there for the 11th to the 26th of may this year

Georgia apartments are just set back from the main high street - behind the Majestic Restaurant - opposite McDonalds - right next to the supermarket!  We found it to be a perfect location as everything was on the doorstep.  Can be a little bit noisy with cockrels and dogs in the mornings, but we have found that that can happen anywhere even if you go to a location that's supposed to the quiet!!  Just make sure you take some earplugs - I always do and never hear a thing!!!

went to gergia apartments last year and loved it! were going back this year... 7 weekz.. they have really nice food reccomend the cheesy chips and the bubblegum from the cocktail menu iz 2 goooooo.

I have just got back from Georgia earlier this afternoon and I'm already pining to go back! Had the most amazing holiday ever! Me and my boyfriend, Lee, spent lazy days by the pool, evenings in bar drinking every cocktail on the list, all made by the lovely Peter (and his crazy dad!)! Then out to the lovely restaurants and back again for more drinks and many movies! I'm absolutely gutted to be back home and I'm already planning on going back next year!

Was just wondering can anyone tell me what is meant by an electricity chip and holder??? Sounds strange. Thanks :)

Thanks Caroline you have put my mind at rest. I loved Zante when we went a few years ago! Do you know where I could get a map of where these apartments are? We stayed at the Sandy Maria last time are they near there?

I know what u mean, before I went to Zante, I had heard all sorts of horror stories too. There is a Mcdonalds opposite the apartments but itz across the street from it. You don't get ne smells from it and actually the food at mcdonalds is nicer than British Mcdonalds! The maids are annoying but as long as your out of your room by about ten then it doesn't matter, although they will babble to you in greek. As for the sewage it really isn't ne thing at all. Just a bit of a smell as you walk down a certain part of the apartments but where ever you go in greece you'll have that. I didn't even notice the smell to be honest. You don't have ne thing to worry about

My husband and I are about to go to the Georgia Apartments in 4 weeks time and are looking for an honest review! We have heard some horror stories about sewage,McDonalds restaurants, nightmare maids and electric key meters. We have been to Zante before and loved it will this place change our minds?

Hey, My boyfriend and i have just got back form the Georgia Apartments. We had the most fantastic time it was our first hoilday aboard together and i would go back tomorrow. We loved it. When we went July, it was quite in the resort but the appartment is set back from the main streets. The beach is a 5 - 10 minute walk. We did go to the beach but we liked just sunbathing by the pool!!  The appartments we always clean, the only problem was that the maid liked to wake us up at 10.00am in the moring not good if you have been out on the night before. The staff are all lovely, we made buddies with the bar man Peter and his mom!! I would recommend the appartements to anyone!!

Annette there are atm machines there. There is a supermarket right next door to the apartments and that has a cash point so you dont have to walk far

i really enjoyed my stay here, me and my boyfriend loved it, we got on with the family well, and spent soem evening watching dvds with baraba and peter, like sin city and charlie and the chocolate factory

Are there any ATM cash machines there?

In answer to your question all the bars we went to had sky news on. Many of the other bars were advertising football games so don't worry, you will be able to watch football whilst in Tsilivi

Just got back from tsilivi about three days ago. I went for a week with 11 other mates. It was brilliant. The georgia apartments are fantastic, I don't understand why eveyone was slagging them off. The rooms are lovely. They change your sheets and your towels everyday. The rooms have a bathroom and a kitchen area which me and my boyfriend found very useful coz we could cook things like soup. There is a supermarket right next door to the apartments as well so you can easily get food, really cheaply as well! The pool was crystal clear, the staff were incredibly friendly (apart from the cleaners who tell you to get out of your room in five minutes) and the location of the apartments themselves were brilliant coz they were surrouned by restaurants, tavernas and bars. The beach is lovely, plenty of watersports to do, me and my four other mates did paragliding, which was brilliant. The beach is only a five minute walk away from the apartments themselves. The nightlife is fantastic. I really recommend Planet Pub if u wanna have a cocktail and a dance. A cocktail i really recommend is a tequila sunrise and also cowboy shots, mmmm yummy!!! OOH also go to Enigma. The staff there are lovely. Steven in particular but the bar tenders are also cool. Watch them when S Club 7 Reach for the Stars comes on, they do a dance that'll have you in stitches.   Also go on an excursion done by zante levante. We went on one on our last day to swim with turtles and that was fantastic, really good value for money. They find turtles for you to swim with, then take you to turtle island, which is amazing, then onto another beach and then home. All in all it was fantastic. I really recommend staying at the georgia apartments coz they are excellent and also i recommend tsilivi as a resort.   good enuf for ya!

When we got to tsilivi we were worried that the appartments would be well out of the town, but when the coach stopped we realised we were right in the middle of the town, the bars were literally a 30 second walk away from the front door of the building. when we got to our rooms they were all very clean and spacious with more than enough of the required facilities such as fridge etc. i was surprised to realise that we had a balcony, and from it was the most amazing view of the sea, it was breathtaking. there were safety deposit safes in the room but these you had to pay for but they were pretty cheap and gave you the peace of mind to leave things such as your passport etc back at the appartment, there were also fans available which i would definately suggest getting. the pool was fantastic, totally clean and safe with good access points, there were lilo's and rubber rings accesable and it was a great place for fun.  The place was very quiet every night, i was never woken up by any other people staying there and never heard a sound from any of the bars on the streets. on the whole it was a fantastic place with really friendly staff and the pool bar had great food, it was also a very clean place i would recommend it to anyone and everyone, not only is it great for teenagers but children too it caters for all ages.

the only warning i would give is that the cleaners tended to just walk into your room even when u were in bed as one of the couples travelling with me found out. they tended to be quite polite though and usually as long as u were up by 9.30 they wouldnt have been in your room.

we have just returned form Tsilivi (Georgia Apartments) we thought generally the place wasnt all that bad, however the fact that when we arrived we had a 2 hour wait before we even got to see our room, as well as on the second day our fridge door fell off thanks to the manger and "ENGINEER" this occured because the fridge was badly rusted tlo the state that when you opened the door your food would get covered in black rust also the freezer door fell off, we immediately reported this to the manger who telephoned an "ENGINEER" who arrived at our door within an hour - he kicked punched the fridge then decided to bash with a knife, then he appeared to be blaming the cleaner. within the nexted few hours the door was literally hanging off therefor it would take two people to open and take out items. we approached the manger again and pointed out that this was unacceptable so she returned within 1 hour with a new fridge we thought at this point excellent service, however the day before we came back to our suprise she gave us a bill for 158. 00 euros, we refused to pay so she told us that we were gonna be arrested. we spoke to our rep who's advice was "either you ;pay it or you dont" so goodnews to the people who gets room 14 you have a brand new fridge however be prepared to hear everything at the bar no matter what time of day or night. for anyone who wants to know a excellent excellent bar go to Tizzys staff are amazing and funny p.s. the quiz's are way too easy please say hi from us, also jeep safari is a great day. enjoy your holiday

Hey only like 1 week n 4 days left till im on va plane to Greece!! apart from the unluckyness off the room u got!! was it a good place!

We`ve just returned from a fortnights stay at the apartments and back home for some much needed sleep ! We had the misfortune to be situated in Room 19 which is sited on the first floor adjacent to the stair well as well as being over the main entrance . This made it very noisy, especially when guests returned at all hours and were still obviously in sing-song mode! Also being at the front of the building the balcony view was that of the main road and McDonalds ! (Yes the golden arches have landed !) so sitting out with a bottle of wine was a bit of a public spectacle!

Hey Gill, love to hear ur good report on the place!! me and my firends have been waiting with excitement about all going on holiday! just wondering what week your there in july because we get there on 10th and were there till 24th! so we might see you there..... anyways cant wait 3 weeks and 1 day yippeeeee!!!!

We stayed here during the second week of May 2005 on a really cheap last minute booking so we were not quite sure what to expect.  We were delighted with the place, the apartment was spotlessly clean as was the pool and around the pool area.  Barbara and her husband and family who ran the bar were so friendly and made us feel very welcome.  We had so many laughs with her whilst sitting up at the bar having a drink or three! The location is just perfect - it is just a 5/10 minute walk to a lovely sandy beach and there are so many bars, restaurants and shops that you are spoilt for choice.  Many people have recommended Popeyes restaurant and we did eat there and it was good but we found The Family Restaurant even better.  The food was excellent, it was very good value for money and the staff there were just lovely.  We found ourselves going back there on 3 or 4 evenings that week because it was so good.  This was our first visit to Zante and there was nothing we could complain about, it was a brilliant holiday and we would recommend the apartments to anyone.  In fact we have just booked to go back again for another week in July and we can't wait to get back there - 3 weeks and counting....................line the drinks up Barbara we are on our way! 

My family stayed here Aug 2004 and had a lovely time, everybody was very friendly and our boys (10 & 6)  had great fun with yannis. The apartments are right in the heart of tsilivi but you wouldn't think it we were not disturbed by any noise, we recommend anyone to stay here .

My girlfriend and I, aged 18 and 21, went on holiday in August 2004 for 2 weeks and stayed at Georgia Apartments. Before we went I read a number of write ups saying that there was a bad smell coming from the sewers. To be fair, there was a slight hint of an aroma in the air at the back of the apartments some times, but nothing at all to worry about. It's only to be expected wherever you stay in Greece.

I would definatley stay there again!!

Of course i would say excellant. My names Stephanie and i was running Georgia's pool bar this summer. I wanted to thank every one who visited us this year, i hope you enjoyed your stay. I know the summer for us was vary busy and alot of hours but we all enjoyed every minute of it. There is a couple who where not 100% happy but we can't please every one all though we tried. I want to thank the team who worked really hard this year. I'm sure many of you will have memories that will last a life time from your visit to Zante and i'm happy that we will be a part of that. Some of you came back to visit which was really nice and great to see you. The lads from Wales (don't mention the sheep) and the police man sorry i mean security man from liverpool. right up to Derik TOP BOMBER i got feelings you know's. The girls from Shrewsbury and Ben and his family. Darren and his family not forgetting baby, who will break some hearts when his older. ALan with his Piles problem and jo and farty baz who gave me my picture phone. It's a great phone but can only send pictures to a greek mobile number, don't know any Greeks with picture phones but it is great fun all the same. I think you get the message basically a big thanks to all our guest and hope to see you again some day. Those who will visit us next year, look forward to meeting you. Hello we are about to holiday at Georgia in the studios I cannot see any comments about these, I am expecting them to be basic as we have holidayed in other Greek Islands but can you tell me will we get a fridge as we do like our cold drinks, Thanking you for hopefully a quick response as we go in 4 days time.

The apartments are centrally located in Tsilivi, and everything is within easy reach with the beach being the furthest walk of about 10 - 15 minutes. Yannis and Steph will bend over backwards to help (within reason of course), Yannis doesn't speak much English but will understand what you are ordering from the bar if you speak slowly enough, Steph is just mad her rendition of Aqua's Barbie Girl was enough for her be thrown in the pool, (just kidding). If you are used to air conditioned luxurious rooms then the Georgia apartments are not for you, however if you are looking for somewhere on a budget and can stand the heat then they are just what you are looking for. For a great start to the day try one of Jo's breakfasts, very reasonably priced. The smell from the drains is no worse than you would find on any Greek island, and after 2 or 3 days you just get used to it. All in all we had a brilliant time.

best holiday we have every had. steph and yannis really know how to make you feel welcome. georgias big brekkie is a must jo in kitchen is spot on. greek night was amazing, food was great but the dancers really made it got every one joining in, and the chance to swim at night was great way of cooling down. definatly recommend it to any one. it is in the centre of the resort but is quiet because it is set back. pool area was kept well clean watch out for steph singing and dancing why she does the cleaning and yannis taking the mik. takis is top man as well, but cleaner bit scary alright once you get to know her, did our washing up every day. we will be back in september with out a doubt xxx

We Stayed 2 weeks here and had an absolutely fantastic time.

As for the 'smell' of sewage, we have been going to Greece for seveal years and can i say, the smell is nothing compared to a cyprus location we stayed at.
The Bar shows regular movies,has karaoke regularly-By the one and only Jazzy Geoff- and Does a daily BBQ.Oh yes Jo-The Cook- Now does A Big Brekki Fri Up-A must try.
On the whole Georgias Was A Great place to stay and would definatly recommend it to anyone.

you do get a fridge and a little stove thingy-ma-jig, just in case you were actually thinking of doing any cooking!!!
