Accommodation in Tsilivi

Everything about the Georgia Apartments is just wicked. Ok the accomodation is basic, but be honest, how long do you actually spend in there anyway???
The pool and sunloungers are ideally placed for getting the sun all day long, and the water isn't that cold once you've been in a few times and deadened some nerve endings! (Ha ha!!)
All the staff at the pool side bar are really friendly and really helpful, especially Steph who is partial to being thrown in the pool every now and again!!! (If you're reading this Steph, it's Jumpy and Laura!!!)
You're right in the middle of Tsilivi village, and only five minutes from the beach, so you don't have to go far for anything. But don't get too excited about the McDonalds across the road, it's not allowed to open!!
Anyone that stays here is guaranteed to have the best holiday ever, I know that we did :)

We've just returned from a superb week in Tsilivi staying in the Georgia apartments. Having read some of the comments about the smell of sewage around the appartments before we left I was a bit worried, but can honestly say that the 'occassional' waft of drains is no more than you can smell at any other place in Greece being that it is a 'developing country' and found the appartments to be clean, friendly and ideally situates. I'd recommend them to anyone!

We have just come back from 2 weeks staying at the Georgia Apartments and have to say that they were fantastic!! The accomodation is basic but very nice - better than I have had in Greece before, and all rooms have lovely balconies. They were cleaned everyday without fail (unless you wanted a lay in and told them to go away!). The swimming pool is lovely and never gets crowded, no matter what time you go down there is always a sunbed free. The snack bar offers a good range of food & drink at reasonable prices - its just dissapointing that it closes so early at night! The location is fantastic, right in the heat of Tsvilli, but no noise can be heard from your rooms. All in all a great place to stay. There is a small wiff about the place along the back where you walk to your room, but it didnt affect out balcony, room or swimming pool area at all. Thankyou for warning me about not having a ground floor room though - I did request this - and I expect it was a bit smellier down there, but the balconies look poolside anyway and dont face the smell - so not too much to worry about.

I have just come back from a week at Georgia. If you are staying at Georgia and are not getting a coach transfer then make sure you specify to the taxi driver which Georgia you want. We spent the first day of our holiday trying to find the right Georgia and were taken to 2 Georgias before we found the right one! There is a Georgia I and Georgia II apartments which are nothing to do with Georgia Apartments (confusing I know!). Make sure you know which one you are staying in.

We enjoyed our week in the sun but would advise anyone booking Georgia to request a room not on the ground floor. These rooms have the neighbouring apartment's sewers right outside. Unfortunately we did have one of these rooms and had to hold our noses when coming in and out and couldn't leave our windows open.

Tsilivi is a nice little resort, lively but not too lively (which suited us). If you want a night out drinking and clubbing then get a taxi to Lagana (about 15mins).

Beware what you eat! We had S&D for almost the whole week! Lots of restaurants don't cook the meat right through and we often cut into our food and found it uncooked. You just can't seem to get a meal served piping hot anywhere. For those of you who like fast-food you may be interested to know there is a McDonalds directly opposite the apartments which seemed to do a good trade!

Overall we liked our holiday and Georgia was basic but most importantly it was clean with a maid service every other day.

Enjoy your holiday!

Me & my boyfriend are going to stay at the Georgia Apartments in Tsvili at the end of July this year, there are no entries from this year on the site!! Can anybody that has stayed there this year please let me know what it was like??? Thanks

my husband and i had an exellent two weeks, no way was the appartments badly furnished, we were quite surprised how good they were, they were also kept immaculate maids came in every day changed sheets and towels, the smell you got around the appartments you would get all over greece as the plumbing is bad all over, we had the very top studio over looking pool.if any one wants info on zante by all means email me as we covered a lot of the island sat in many bars, and ate in many restaraunts.

I have just been there with my girlfriend Becky. We thought the location was excellent as we were right in the middle of the resort. However, the facilities provided were very basic and the accomodation poorly furnished. The hotel also had a rather nasty odour about it due to the poor plumbing! On the whole we had a good time but wouldn't recommend the hotel.

The apartments are located right in the heart of the Tsilivi's main strip but set back from the main road . They are cleaned everyday and fresh towels and bed linen every other day. The owners are very helpful and anything that you will need they will provide you with straight away. There is no Air conditioning but you can hire fans from a shop along the road from Popeye's restaurant (5 mins from apartments) The pool is of good size and has plenty of sun beds along with a good pool bar which provides a weekly BBQ. Noise wise was OK, you can here the music from the bar at the top until 12.00 am then it stops. You get very little noise from the planes. The only complaint we had was the two families from Hell that joined us, they made worse noise than the bars. I think we were just very unlucky. I would certainly recommend the apartments for anyone who wants to be in the heart of it all

Does anybody know if the Georgia Apartments have air con?

Sandy S

the Georgia was clean enough and very central; since we've been there , they have built a pool so I can't comment on that. No noise from planes to answer someones question. Probably better than some basic accomodation in Greece.

I have seen these appts in the Olympic brochure and they say they are brand new but i would like to know what they are like and if the location is ok.Also i have heard that there could be airplane noise over the area from the planes taking off from Zante.
