We were in Tsilivi about 6 weeks ago with a 7 and 11 year old and had no problems keeping them occupied. You'll find in most tavernas that the staff will make a fuss of the kids, especially if you go back to the same place a couple of times. Beniko's is a very family oriented establishment which is well worth a visit. We'll also be at Daisy in 6 weeks but without the grandchildren this time. So we'll probably see you there Kelly. You'll find the Daisy close enough to everything when you want it, and just far enough away when you don't. Believe me, you'll have a fantastic time and will almost certainly return... See you soon.
Hi just got back from zante, had a fantastic time. The Daisy Apts were lovely very clean and tidy, just couldn't fault anything. The water park is sign posted everywhere, it is meant to be about 15 mins away, we did hire a car and had a look, nothing special, but then I suppose it depends on what you want. There is some sort of fun area for kids(evenings only) on the road to the right of Popeyes (a fair walk) pass the mini golf, which is good. The beaches are lovely as well good for kids too. Went to Argassi a couple of times as exchange rates were better there. Recommend the Olive Garden Restaurant, Demitri aways seemed very pleased to see us.
We've stayed at Daisy at least once a year for the last 5 years and have always found towels to be plentiful... Further to this they are changed several times a week too, so you shouldn't have any problems or the need to take your own.
can someone tell me what the towel situation is please, don't know whether to take our own.
just got bak from a 2 week stay at daisy, me and my mate loved it! and we defantly wanan go again, people in tsilivi are very friendly! always something to be doing, only 5 mins walk to the beach, was absolutely red hot,but loved it,got a great tan lol we liked all resturants, all really nice, majestic resturant was lovely, good value for money defantly.made some good friends, everyone was so friendly, Bill and Jani who work being the pool bar are great! so friendly and happy all the time, gunna miss them i wud defantly reccoment going to daisy in tsillivi, good for familys with kids and good for young ones if you like night life, not too loud, but some good bars,me n my friend had some really gr8 nights lol.go to red lion bar, very friendly, great service, and they give you free drinks! lol all around a great holiday, gunna go bak, love it
just been to the daisy for two weeks we had a great time .the weather was fantastic . pool was kept clean by a guy who came every day to clean it .the rooms were basic no kettle or a toaster but we were eating out anyway so no probs
Just been to Daisy for 2 weeks. Our first time to Zante, will definitely be going back. Had a fantastic time, Bill (barman) was brilliant, always had a smile on his face. Food at Daisy was very good. The only downside was the owners shouting at each other, but you get used to it. Rooms are cleaned every day and beds and towels changed regularly. You are only about 10 mins walk to town. Best places to eat are Camelot, Olive Garden (Dimitri and Billy are a good laugh) and Koukos. Bowling and grazy golf are good fun. Plenty to do for all age groups. Missing it already!!!
been to daisy last year 2006 and just been May 2007 and rebooked for sept....fabulous time, Aster, Billy,Jimi, and Koula (cook) were so helpful and friendly, that they have become good friends to us, although the owners are a bit off the wall its very entertaining to watch. highly recommend to anyone,a quiet location ideal but only a few minutes walk to the village, and the beach.just fab......
Having just returned from a 2 weeks stay at Daisy I feel I have to praise Bill and Toula for their work at the bar during the day and Mark for his sterling efforts from 4:00 until the last person leaves. For anyone who has never been to Daisy, the location, quietness and (general) cleanliness should never need to be questioned... However, this year I have to report that we only received two towel and bed linen changes over the 2 week period and had no maid service at all on three seperate days. This has not been the case in previous years, usually you'd expect at least three towel and linen changes and I think we'd only ever been missed by the maid once before. Even so, it's not enough to spoil your holiday... I'll certainly be going back at some point in the future and would reccomend it to anyone.
Adding to Helena's comments, the Daisy is in a fantastic location. The beach really is a few minutes walk away, probably 300 metres. Whether you turn left or right out of the Daisy you will soon see a turning to the beach. Personally I think that end of the beach is the best in the village. There's now also three different road routes into the village depending on how long or far you wish to walk before you want to settle for the evening in a bar or taverna. You'll love it!
Hi Julie,
We have just come back from 2 weeks at the Daisy and we stayed in room
209 which even without Air Con was still cool with just a large fan. Hi
to Mark and Billy they made our time around the pool bar very
enjoyable. As for the greek owners, their occasional rants just added
to the character of the place. For anyone who's read any of the past
negative comments we would say just go with an open mind, I was a bit
dubious after reading some of the them, but we had a fantastic holiday
- all eight of us kids and grandparents alike!!!!!
We loved it. Not much for the self caterer though - basic 2 ring hob and no kettle but a big fridge. Aircon costs 35 euro weekly and is only available on ground floor, fans are cheaper. Plenty of towels but maids only made beds a couple of times. On the whole great though - owners are a hoot as they always row but it was sooo funny. Rep - Jo - was lovely . Mark the barman is great with kids - take a DVD and he will happlily show it on the big screen in the bar for them.
Hi!
I am shocked to read the comment just entered on here! My husband and I have stayed at Daisy for years and have NEVER EVER experienced any problem like that. In fact we have never had anything but fantastic service from everyone there. The apartments are basic but are clean and comfortable. We have stayed in other places in Tsilivi and definitely rate Daisy as the best. Bill and John are there this year - great as ever too!
does any 1 have johns e mail adress or the email adress of the daisy thanks
can anyone tell me if john or bill still work at the daisy as i would like to hear from them as i will be going back in september it was a great holiday last time we were there tell them paul and tony scotland and dave chris and callum and mel said hello thanks
great place to stay, going back in may 2006. Daughter and i had lovely 2 weeks there, Bill is a great guy very friendly and chatty, Niko is absolutely GEORGOUS, sexy eyes, according to my daughter, have kept in touch since last october, and we look forward to seeing them again, so, [ sorry, to the two young girls who were hoping, you lost out this time]
Terry, pleased to hear you are ok. Would be great to see you and your family next year. Keep in touch.

Hi Jacqui I am not to bad.Iam getting there slowley. Each day things seem to be good then not.Terry, we are going 4th - 18th June. Hope you are ok.
hi Jacqui just wanted to know when in june are you going
Terry and family
Our thoughts are with you all at your sad loss. We were told about Yvonne by the lady who runs the Golden Lion. We were shocked to hear the news as we thought Yvonne had been doing so well.
For everyone that remembers Terry and Yvonne in May 2005, and Yvonnes injury to her leg, we have some very sad news, that sadly Yvonne died on the 23rd August 2005, Terry wants to thank everyone for their kind get well wishes especially Jessica & Chloe and all the staff at the apartments, this will not stop Terry returning as he has booked to return in July of next year with his whole family in tow, all 9 of us, ranging from son, daughter down to grandchildren, we look forward to seeing you all then.
we had a lovely holiday at the daisy and bill was a complete star ! the rooms were very nice , but we needed toilet rolls ! a few leaks in the plumbing was a bit of a problem for our family in the next room , but appart from that we had a good week. our only problem was the noise the family and cleaners make, we had guests leave the day before us at around 5.30am and the cleaners went staight into their rooms with their trolleys, and were really banging around to get the rooms clean. the family shout constantly at each other and especially down the telephone !!
Just back from the Daisy Appartments in Tsilivi, I was a bit apprehensive about going to the Daisy as my husband and I are Hotel people, but the appartments were very nice, really clean and spacious, I found the staff lovely and friendly especially John, Bill is ok I found him quite funny, he was always trying to chat up my daughter Karen and her friend Tracy, but they just gave him as good as they got, once he realised they were not interested he left them alone, just giving the odd chat up line now and again. Tsilivi is really nice plenty to do from lazing around the pool to Para gliding, even I had a go at that, I was a bit frightened to say the least before I went up but really enjoyed it once I was up, but I have never seen so many water sports that the beach has to offer. The beach is lovely and the colour of the water is breathtaking. Thanks to Carol Ian Tracy and Karen not forgetting my husband Raymond for making the holiday excellent, we will certainly be back. But yes do take toilet rolls with you. And again I agree with other people the family are a bit noisy, but we got on really well with Demitris and found him very friendly, anyone going to the Daisy will have a very enjoyable holiday there. We will order a bottle of Ouzo Carol for MAHOGANY!!!!!
we are also just back from a fortnight at the daisy - the same time as dianne. holiday was even better than last year! everything fantastic - bill was fine - a chancer but no more than the others standing at the restaurant doors - it must work for him which is why he keeps doing it!
Bill was funny and harmless to wards us. Although he did tell us few tales of what he gets up to. But throughout our holiday he was fantastic and I would not give him anything but a gold star.
Just come back from spending 2 weeks at the Daisy!!!! It was fantastic
Just back after two fantastic weeks at Daisy. We could not fault it at all. It was even better when we arrived as there was so many of us back again from last year. From the very start of out two weeks everyone was warm and friendly. The atmosphere was brilliant.
Got back from Zante earlier today after a fantastic 2 week stay at the hotel daisy in tsilivi. The resort has so many bars and restaurants you'd need a month to try them all, they cater for all tastes whether you like english, traditional greek, italian, mexican, indian or chinese tsilivi has got it all. Our 2 favourite restaurants were the olive tree and manos grill, the food was fantastic.
The bars were also excellent our two favourites were paradise (The best bar in
Tsilivi is fantastic for families with children of all ages and couples.
The hotel daisy was situated far enough out of the town to be quiet but close enough to walk to. (However there are a number of horse and carriages in the town that will take u anywhere within tsilivi for 10 Euros).
The beach is a short walk away well worth a visit the sea is gorgeous.
Accommodation was clean but basic. Pool bar open
Greek family are nuts and shout a lot but were no real disturbance although the owner likes to stare a lot! The one thing we will say about the daisy is take a toilet roll as we weren’t provided with one.
Overall it was a fantastic holiday made lots of friends of all ages and wouldn't hesitate to go back.
With regards to Bill he did make some comments throughout the first week they were harmless enough but as soon as he stepped over the line i told him to back off, he was very apologetic i dont think he really realised what he was saying but after that we got on really well. As long as you take him with a pinch of salt hes harmless enough!

Hi Andrew
Its Lorraine and Mark, met at the Daisy. Can you give us your email address?
P;ease do not worry about your forthcoming holiday to the Daisy you will have a great time. As for Bill I think the comments are really ridiculous he will not pester you or harass you, he serves behind the bar and is pleasant and friendly to everyone, that is his job!! I hardly think he would be allowed to act in the way he is being accused, both the owners and Kosmar would certainly have done something about it. Please read positive comments on this site there are lots of them. I do hope you enjoy your holiday I know I did, so much so I am also going back this month.
Please do not worry about your holiday. We are also arriving on 28th August and we are all looking forward to it VERY much. We stayed at the Daisy last year and had a great time.
I'm off to the Daisy Studios on 28 August for two weeks. I have read the recent comments about these apartments and I'm abit worried to say the least about going!!!
Just got back - the apartments are very basic - be warned!! No more or less than you should expect. Found the family to be friendly enough although they were very loud and a bit offputting when they all got together aqnd seemed to think the pool was there more for their entertainment rather than that of the guests.Found the road back to the appts. dark and a bit scary late at night although they were building pavements when we left. All in all, reasonable for what your paying for - and we loved the bar staff even though the music went on until 2 am!!!
My daughter Karen is a very fussy person and I know she would not be returning to the Daisy Appartments if they had not been to her satisfaction, she and her friend Tracey were there last year and my ears are sore listening to them going on about the fab time they had at the Daisy Appt. they met great peaple there especially Dianne and Bob and ~Carol and Ian who my hubby and I can't wait to meet this year because yes you have guessed Karen and Tracey have convinced us that we have to visit Tsilivi as it is a beautiful resort, and the Daisy Appt. are really good, I only hope we can get air con as I know it will be very hot, I have looked at different comments over the past few weeks and I say it is up to you if you enjoy yourself or not, also what some people dislike others may find good, but I am sure we will like the Daisy Appts. and can't wait to meet this guy Bill, I will let you know if he is as bad as some people say. So Dianne,Bob,Carol and Ian 21 sleeps.
we had a lovely time at the daisy and were very sorry to hear of yvonnes accident but would like to send her all our love and hope she is better.
Hi Yvette,
Weather is lovely in early September. But take a cardigan or similar as it can get cool at night. Last September there was a couple of nights when it got really cold when we were out for our meal. So maybe even take a fleece jacket.
me and my daughter are going for a girlie fortnight to the daisy apartments 4th september flying monarch from manchester. is anyone else going around that time, what will the weather be like, also the family ive been reading about sounds horrendous, hopefully they wont spoil our holiday.
By the way, dont expect much from the airport. You will have to wait around for ages to check in, and it gets very hot - so wear something cool. I was flying with scandick - dont use them. We had a 7.5hr delay, but we got home eventually
We have just got back from the daisy appartments (24th july) and have had a fantastic time. We booked to go there for 2 weeks for our honeymoon. After booking i read lots of back comments on this site about the accomodation, and felt very nervous about staying there. Well they proved me wrong. The rooms are lovely, but basic - but you have evrything you need there. Do take loo roll as you only get one supplied. All the staff seem nice, but the family are rather loud and do not care about arguing in front of everyone. Our room overlooked the pool - which was nice, but the music in the pool bar went on till about 2 in the morning, so if you aren't a light sleeper you will be ok. The location is brilliant, 5 min walk to both beach and tsilivi town. When walking into town look out for the mad dog which chases the cars!!. Do try Sweet Revenge diner (turn down the road by the supermarkey with escalators), the couple who own it are fab and the food is out of this world! Overall a fantastic holiday
Where is Great Dane restaurant. Sounds interesting? Although I prefer to try Greek food.
HI Karen
we got back yesterday from staying at the daisy hotel The rooms were clean but basic and very hot if you didnt have air con .Bill was ok I think he is Albanian ,John who works the afternoon shift into the evening is very nice and friendly hes portugese but has excellent english. We found the whole family stayed around the pool alot .We went to the beach alot because it was to hot round the pool.the beach had more breeze.I thought the air con was quite expensive 35euros a wk and i think you are lucky if you do get a room with it not many have it.If you are feeling brave hire a car we did for 3 days the island has some lovely views.

now & I have to say its a great place to stay. All the
staff were fine . there was a new place to eat just up the road towards
town called grub up we went there a few times the food was very
good. give it a go.
We also love Daisy apartments. They are spotless and staff are very friendly.
To anyone reading these comments,
Regards to all who remember Terry and Yvonne
to Rosie,
I know it's a stupid question, but i am a bit unsure - you can't always trust the travel agent..
Hey, could anyone tell me if there is a pool at Daisy Studios?
I thought this site was for people to find out about the daisy apts, but all that seems to be on now is a vendetta against the barman Bill. While we were there in May we found Bill to be courteous and respectful at all times. The girl who is trying to contact the daisy, would it not have been better to have reported the behaviour of Bill while she was there, instead of waiting until going home?

We stayed in Daisy from the 5th June to the 19th, we had a great time. The studio we had (203) was lovely we had a nice hillside view from our 1st floor balcony. The room itself was quite basic you can hire air conditioning £35 per week or fans for £10. The room was cleaned every day and had the basics supplied such as cups, plates, cuttlery, theres a pan for boiling water as you have to hire a kettle. Be carefull with the hot water as when its hot its red hot!!! We had no problems with any staff although we didnt spend alot of our time at the bar or pool, the man on reception was very pleasant if not a bit crazy, he loved our 20 month old daughter. We found Tsilivi very nice the Daisy is well located as your 5mins walk to the beach & 10-15mins to the main centre. We found 2 excellent tavernas the Mataxi Mas was lovely very traditional you see signs for it everywhere well worth the trip & Grecos was lovely too very good food with fantastic prices dont go if you want fast food as everything is cooked fresh. We would also highly recomend eurocar hire company very accomadating, its worth hiring a car the island of Zante is beautifull.
What Nationality is he? Is he on during the day or at night? Why did the rep not do something about him?
Just got back yesterday and the apartments were excellent. Staff very friendly, rooms cleaned daily, excellent location only 5-10 mins walk to the town centre and 5 mins from the beach. Our room had a safety deposit box and air con although I can't vouch for all of them. Air con was 35 euros a week
i am going to stay at the daisy studios on the 10th july please could someone tell me if there is air con in every room also about safety deposit boxes if they are in every room or not.
We didn't really buy that much. Except for leather belts etc to bring back. Although some lovely jewellery. Better to haggle for jewellery though. There is aslo a shop that sells pottery animals!!!! worth a look as they are hilarious. Bit like bad taste bears!!!!!!!
Should have asked on last message - what are the best things to buy - such as leather jackets, jewllery etc. and what sort of prices are we talking?
Hi there,
Some rooms have Safety deposit boxes, but not all. Unsure if anymore in Reception. We took all Euros as got them from Post Office NO COMMISSION.
Am desparately trying to find out if the Daisy apartments have safety deposit boxes!!Help please.. Is it better to take Euro/Sterling Travellers Cheques or just Euros? Thanks
