Ghetto Bar

ghetto was the best bar on the island - quality tunes, cheap drinks, pretty girls and the barman were mates! the worst place on the island is must which i have to say is a must not. they called us stingy english barsteds for asking for free shots with our cocktails and chucked us out. so the next night we decided to do some "anti-pr"ing outside must shouting "this place is a must-not - don't come in!" which was losing the fat cat owner quite a lot of business! so he decides to chase us down laganas strip screaming "w**ker" and "asshole" until he probably thought he was gonna have a heart attack or something and gave up! after about half an hour of giggling our nuts off we thought the coast was clear to walk back through laganas to our favourite club ghetto. but as we got about 50 yards past must i felt this fist crack the back of my head and there were 4 greek dick-heads laying into me and 2 others going at my mate. i was so pissed but i think 2 of them were barman at must. we managed to scramble away from them and catch a taxi back to our hotel - dripping blood all over the back seats. no thanks to the hundreds of englishman who just watched us almost getting ko'd.
basically it really is a must not!

The bar was really cool and so was Stav (!!!???) the one with the wonderful teeth and eyes (Sabrina is missing you like crazy!)Sorry we never got a chance to say goodbye that night.
Everyone should check it out if you like having the choice of either chillin' at the bar or shakin' that ass in the club!

I dont think they are overated..there just a great laugh and u can have lots of fun wiv them...there not up there own asses!! (well not all of em!) Ghetto is a place to have fun :)

Went to Ghettos everynight we were there! Arrived on 10th August 2003, Barman were great, Andreas Yarris Sortiris and Alex were very welcoming if you get what i mean. Going back next year, 1st July for 2weeks, if anyone is there then let me no! U must go to Ghettosxxx

Was there at the end of July, This place was in my oppinion the best and the staff were just brill (just watch out for the ballistic ice cubes from the juggling bar staff)..
The 'Jammie Oliver' lookalike PR was a laugh and kept us well entertained every night. I promised to e-mail them some of the photos but I lost there web address and the photo I took which should have had their sign with web address on it has some girls t!ts right in the middle (who knows!), anyway if your reading this and know the addy post it up for me plz :o)

Really clean compared to other bars we went to, great music, good drinks.

Started off in Ghetto each night. We were the 12 boys from Essex there. Usually wit some sexy girls dancin close by. Not a bad place to start the night but not good enough to spend too much time in.

What a great place!!! Discovered Ghetto on our second night there and went there every night until we left! Music was wicked, cocktails were excellent & the barmen were a bonus. Thassos, Ilias & Banos were the funniest guys, thanx for making our holiday so great, we miss you already!!!! Would go back to Laganas just to go to Ghetto, best bar we've ever been to!

Good music, if you like your old and new RnB, chart, hip hop etc then this is the place to go!! You can sit on the terrace if you like and have a few drinks or go back into the dance floor part. As far as my experience of Laganas went, this was my favourite bar!!!

We started off our Holiday in this bar!! The first hour we arrived we found it and fell out of the place later that night. Alex and Illious are the sweetest most nicest guys!! Fantastic bar, Thassos and George (barmen) are fab blokes and miss them loads. Cocktails are very cheap and plenty to choose from. I would reccomend this bar to anyone. Miss it loads and will be back - One Day.

The guys there are great really friendly, we found this bar on 2nd day and spent the beginning of every night there. Well what can i say, we found this club into about a week of the holiday and found that it was the best place for a real good laugh, great music(r&b trouser legs up ha ha) !!!

i remember two stunning norweigns you know who u r sorry thats all didnt think much of the place, small no music as i recall and bar men with attitude.

This place reaked off EGG!!! good music and cheap drinks (same as everywhere..) The picture they have on here is NOT what ghetto bar looks like-they have had it refurbished obviously cos it looks a lot better now than it does on that pic. This bar would be great, if it didnt stink. the smoke pumped out onto the strip is quality.

Stu, the music varies from dance to cheesy 70's and 80's, and anything that is currently in the charts. Great variety and you can have a good laugh in there.

Ghetto bar was by far the best in Laganas, especially as we went at the end of the season and everything seemed to be quieting down. The barmen were very cool and always there to entertain us...Davy you are still 'savage'!! This place was really good, the bar men are entertaining and you get served quick and easy. cocktails are 1500dr and you get two for one during happy hour.

This was the best bar in Laganas. Never rammed but busy enough, especially when there was a bar-crawl of 25! Great cocktails and fantastic atmosphere.

The Ghetto bar rules!If you're big on drinking cocktails then this is the place to be...not only are the bar staff the loveliest guys you've ever met, but they're also fantastic at producing the finest cocktails in Laganas! If you get there early - between 7 and 10.30pm, you'll also have the pleasure of 2 cocktails for the price of 1! Beware of LOW flying icecubes and bottletops... Its an absolute must!

this is the best place in laganas! the barmen at the front are the best - it tends to be more greek barmen at the club end. crazy cocktail waiters-really friendly-davy and castos - have a tendency to throw ice cubes down your top! gets very busy about 12-2, but then quitens down for a bit of friendly banter till close. (4) everyone should be made to go-best place ever!

The Ghetto was one of our favourite bars they do bogof cocktails and they are absolutely gorgeous the bar staff are really friendly aswell

I WENT ZANTE TWICE LAST YEAR A LOVED IT AND THE GHETTO BAR IS THE BEST THE STAFF ARE SO FRIENDLY!!!
