Astir Palace Hotel

is there anyone who has a photo of the hotel the Astir Palace

We have been staying at the Hotel Astir for some time now and my husband is off there next Tuesday. Sorry to say I have to stay at home and look after things here. However, highlights for us are not just the wonderful location, fantastic hotel and staff who do everything to help you but also taking a canoe and just paddling out and enjoying the water and the turtles, a real stress buster. If you go there say Hi to Vula and Elaina for us along with all the staff. Enjoy. We did and do.

hi i am going in september 01 and i want to no what it is like did everyone enjoy it ...my concern is that we feel that it looks dead far away from all the clubs and bars could someone set me straight and let me now how far they ar eand how much does the taxies cost to go to all the clubs and bars in laganas from astir palace cheerz people

Astir Palace, execellent location , many bars & restaurents near by, I can recommend Salt & Pepper, Navigo. Take a pedalo from the beach to see the turtles and swim with them, watch out they bite!! Then there is a short walk 5-10mins either along the beach or by road to Laganas town where there are approx. 130ish bars / restaurents to get lost in (Bad boyz/Revenge/Zeros). Overall food in all restaurents was excellent and very reasonably priced along with the drinks in the pubs.

i have been transfered to this hotel. Can someone please give me info on it. Does it have any entertainment? Are there any good pubs nearby?

we have just come back from two fantastic weeks at the Astir Palace, there is a really friendly bar right next door "Navigo" bar where Nickous and Stamis will welcome you all. The area is fantastic for turtle watching with the sea right in-front of the pool area. at about 1 hundred yards out its still only shoulder height and there are many chances to swim with the turtles ( best time 3-5 pm) Best diving at Zante Dive just next door with a real friendly group people in the driftwood club. The Astil Palace Hotel is very clean great food and pleasent staff. all in all one to BOOK!

absolutely brilliant hotel -perfectly positioned(what a view!!!)

I'm going in august, so I can't help you there, but I would like your comments about the hotel, location and the nightlife if you can remember.

I'm going to be staying at the Astir Palace in June, and I was wondering if it is a good place to stay at? Can anyone let me know their thoughts?
