Karras Hotel

Hi everyone going to zante again this year but staying at the karras hotel in laganas is it a nice enough hotel as i have been finding mixed reviews wheres good to go to for food and drink anyone going to be in laganas during 21st september 2014 - 28th september 2014

Had a brilliant time here.Apartments were spotless.Beautiful pool, people  very friendly.Good location for couples or families.Advise the air conditioning though.Restuarants were close and plenty , food fab.Try the beach close by, it is a must.Went on a few trips around the island,fantastic.Watch the night man in reception, he can be a bit sleezy.Would venture here again.

we are a bit worried the resort is gonna be real old fashioned - is Laganas suitable for
couples who like a bit of nightlife, nice
restaurants, good bars but not too crazy???

I went to Zakynthos last year with my mates and with my boyfriend this year and stayed in the Karras both times. I absoloutely love it over there great location near the beach and nightlife.Taci is the best just watch out for the mosquitos and the sleazy man in the reception at night!

Just back from a fab 2 weeks staying in the Karras Apts. The place is really clean and the staff are lovely. its a great situation, only a short walk away from the main clubbing area and quiet enough if your looking for a night in! and as for the Karras Pool Bar, its the best on the island, Tackie, Andy, Jane & George, ye are doing a great job!!

Went to Zakynthos three years ago and have been dying to go back ever since!

Myself and my boyfriend stayed in Karras Apts in May and Sept last year and am heading back this sunday.  Cannot wait to be back there again. Great rooms. Basic but cleaned daily.  Very spacious.  Excellent pool.  Apts are just 1 min off the main road so it is very relaing.    As for Tackie and Sula, what can i say, they run the best poolside bar in Zakynthos

brill place to stay. not far from the beach or nightlife. pool side bar staff very friendly. loved it... hope to go back....

we stayed at the karras apartments in august 2003...and we loved it!
Close too the beach, shopping and good restaurants. 15 min walk from allt the party, and if you want to get some sleep thats a good thing. The personal were werry friendly, a big rose to thr poolbar!!
The only thing I can complain at is the hard beds, but hey you cant get everything.
I recomend it, and I´ll go there again.

Top apartments, booked thru virgin sun in 2001 the best year 4 dance! best days spent chillin by the pool listenin to the dance pumped by the poolside n havin a drink at the pool bar. Top, not far from everywhere either

Myself and my girlfriend stayed in the Karras apts for 2 weeks in august this year. The apts are lovely clean and plenty of space cleaned reguraly staff are really friendly.pool is nice and the snack bar at the pool is nice try the chefs sauce on the salads its lovely staff are really friendly.

Their are a lot of nice bars and resturants around the apts and it is not to wild just nice 15 mins walk to main street in laganas it is livelier there but really good.

Book tours with pelagros tours they are cheaper than the reps

Myself and my girlfriend (Irish) also just back and had a great time . V. Friendly place and staff are great fun . Although nk your friend needs to stop daydreaming behind the bar !!!!!

Just back, fab location 5 mins walk to the beach, beside lovely restaurants, and 15 mins walk to the madness of the strip, loved it so much one of our friends stayed and is working in the Karras Pool Bar!

My family stayed at Karras apartments in June 2001 courtesy of virginsun & we loved it. We would defnitely go back there if we could find out which tour operator is covering it now. Can anyone help me?

me and my hubby went for a late honeymoon, it was out of this world and would love to go back, we went with virgin but they are no longer doing it and we have contacted so many travel agents and no one can find it, please make a still very loved up couple happy and let us know if it is anywhere on the net or who your tour operators are. Hey, there are 6 Irish girlies heading to Zante June 24th 2002, just wondering are there any wild ones heading around that time!

Thinking of going to Karras studios next year. Would like to know if they are in a quiet (not isolated!) area. How far are they from the centre and is there anything to shops etc; on the way. would you need a torch for returning in the evening (been to corfu this year) Is Laganas very 18-30,s or would it suit us over 40,s plenty to see and do but not necessarily to do it! Would we be better of in another quieter resort? Ta.

HAVENT BEEN YET! BUT GOING ON 27TH WITH MY BOYFRIEND FOR A WEEK. HAS ANYONE BEEN LATE IN SEPT AND TO THESE APARTMENTS? THEY SOUND GOOD ANYWAY FROM EVERYONES COMMENTS! HOPE SO-JUST GOT A BIT OF A PANIC ON BECASUE I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO LATE INT HE SEASON BEFORE. PRAY IT IS HOT!!
