Dora Studios

First time visitors to Zante - apartment was small and basic, with very primitive cooking facilities, but who wants to be cooking on holiday ??
Cleanliness was ok, with friendly cleaner who came in every other day.
Pool great and pool bar ideal for drinks and snacks throughout the day.
Only a few minutes walk from Laganas' main drag, with plenty of choice for drinking and eating.
As we visited in mid September, it was just busy enough, without going over the top.
Apartments next door (Villa Spiros)looked nicer, but overall had a good time and would visit Laganas again.

Dont go to Dora if you want to do more than make a cuppa, Studio very basic, more a room with a sink thrown in. Pool was excellent, Pool Bar cheap enough, central location ideal for clubbers and families not far to walk to beach or nite life.

there was 9 of us who went on the 10th it was f**king GREAT,there was loads of babes and loads of good bars.

Me and my fiance stayed there in May 2003 and it was brilliant, yes the kitchen was a bit primitive but who goes on holiday to cook. Clean and tidy away from the strip if thats what you wanted, but not to far I might add everyone was friendly and helpfull.

Me and my fiance stayed here in September 2002 and loved it. Okay the kitchen and bathroom were primitive and you couldn't really cook anything but with all the excellent resaurants, bars and eateries who really cares.

Recommended if you want to be very close to the main strip of Laganas but also like peace and quiet.

We visited the pool bar the most on this holiday cause we were there all day and just before we left to go out on the night! It was ok i suppose but the drinks were cheap and they did a lovely tuna sandwich :-)

I just got back from stopping in Dora and thought that the apartment was VERY basic (considering it is self catering). However it was cheap enough to eat out and the distance to the clubs was easy enough to stagger back to after a long night! i would definatley consider going again.

could anyone tell me if they have been to dora studios recently, because i am going in september and would like some more info if possible?

the union jack shots were leathal.the free shots were also good.the barman billy was a pain in the a**e-but we put up with his antics, as he liked the ladies.

The gerneral location of Dora was brilliant-about 1 minute walk to the bars,clubs. The cleanleness of the apartment was horrible,but we put up with it.

How far away are Plaza II from the Dora apartments? Thanks x

I just got back yesterday from my stay here and I would definatly recommend these apartments if you like to be in the centre of it all! As they are situated just around the corner from the bars and only a five minute walk from the beach! Its also great for the less mobile people (providing you stay on the ground floor), as the area around dora apartments is pretty flat! Nothing bad to say about the apartments or the resort, but I will definately recommend the "ZAKFARI" trip! EXCELLENT!!!!!

Hi Chas! Had a great time again. We didn't go back to Dora in the evenings because it was out of our way but we went there a few times to have breakfast and lounge by the pool. It's as nice as ever and the staff all recognised us. Hope you have a great time and let me know how it was. Stay off the flaming lambourginis this time if Mel's not there to carry you home!

Hi Vicky and Louise,hope you went back to this excellent bar again,there are now 7 of us on July 12th.did you have a good time???? Hopefully they have replaced the stool Dean broke last year spinning on it to see Kylie on TV,and stocked the bar up well also,see ya later.

Sorry Vicky!!!,there wasn't a section for your name on there.We couldn't get back to Dora either,staying at some Place called Comfort Studios(erm)not far from Dora though.Back there on 12th July.Cant wait,Dean likes the pool and bar.

Chas, I can't believe you put 'average' for babes! You know you don't mean that! Anyway, I agree - great place, great staff, great drinks. Will definitely be back there this year even though we're not staying in Doras again. What were those green shots??!!

Spent a lot of time here last year,we drunk them dry of a few drinks Dean and I,Stefano was a really cool bloke,he looked after us,even when Dean fell off the stool. Will be back there this year.

See you have a comment on here Vicky,me,Dean,Gemma and 2 others are back here this year,12th July,sadly not at Dora though. But we'll be at the bar there most days

WE LOVED IT THE STAFF R BRILLIANT AND WE ALL GOT ON WITH EVERY THING THE FOOD IS CHEAP AND TASTY AND ITS JUST A GR8 PLACE

Excellent location for nightlife, lovely pool and great cooked breakfasts in the pool bar if you can face them.

I stayed here for two weeks with my friends it was my first holiday away with out my family and we were all mad. The staff are very understanding kind and friendly. The location was fabulous it was a two minute walk to the club rescue. I would well recomend this accomadation and wouldnt stay n e were else.
