Ilios Hotel

 just got bk from the ilios yesterday,had a wicked time,just the right place 4 us lancaster lasses,missin everyone already spesh all the lads from devon that made us laugh sooooo much!

excellent apartments and staff n brill resort,all 4 of us girls should of stayed

just returned from zante where we spent a week at ilios part of wayne and jo's wedding party.would like to thank maria and staff for a fantastic and friendly time.brilliant for kids so much for them to do.also cute little white fluffy dog kept them amused,especially when he pinched the kids flip flops.dissapointed we had to come home and everybody else stayed for another week.would definatley go back missing maria already.love you all hope to see you soon.give our love to bro and jo.xxx

 Visited Hotel Ilios in 2005 and returned in May 2006, enjoyed our stay, was nice and relaxing.  A little disappointed that the staff from last year wasn't there (only Babis was there), so the staff this year are not quite the same, which the staff from last year made the holiday.  Disappointed that there was not as much entertainment as last year and that the Kids Club wasn't running due to nobody there to do it.  Barbecue wasn't the same standard of food as last year (no free bottle of beer this time!!).  An idea also is that the bus they run to the Beach and back could also be used by other people rather than just All Inclusive (would be willing to pay for this service), as there wasn't many All Inclusive using this service.  Stayed Half Board this year, but wasn't much choice for our Daughter (6 years old), could do with more choice for children.  TV don't watch much but please more choice for English rather than just News all the time!!!  Overall we find Hotel Ilios a good hotel but could do with a few changes as stated above.  Don't get us wrong we enjoyed our stay but was different from last year.  WORD OF ADIVCE BE PREPARED FOR ALL THE MOSQUITOS THIS YEAR, PLENTY OF THEM WAITING FOR YOU!!!!!

Hey peeps stayed here last year in june coming bk again just going to a different hotel.... ilios was lovely looking and very clean.. only thing to say was the entertainment in the hotel of an evening was pants.. but if like me you like to go out and club then only have a 10 min walk to the 1st bar! woohoo about 2 mins from a local shop!! Lovely place.. look out for there little white fluffy dog thing hes a beaut... deffo recommend zante hense the reason im going bk there... see ya all soon :)

Hello Stevie, this holiday in August is going to be quality. This place looks really nice and hopefully we are not too far out.  lookin forward to it.  Would like if anyone who has been could leave any advice.

the best place to have breakfast is snack attack it has the best english breakfast on the island and the best place to have dinner is the ionian sea my favourite is spaghetti napoli . Laurnens works @ both of these places u will reacognise him by his grey hair! lol be there on june 4th for 2 weeks !

us 6 girls got back for the ilios in august absoulty loved every minute of it! it was the best holiday i had every been on! the staff were wicked, especially maria, vicky and the rep charlee and mel the kids swim coach (thanks mel 4 lookin afta me on the cabret nite) i reconmend to anyone, the bar crawl as u will meet loads of people and get free shots! the only bad thing about the holiday was the frogs and lizards (but they are only they are nite, by which your too gone too even notice) im going back next year to kalamaki,but victor and marco i will be poping into see you both! the ilios is suitable for all ages and even familes!!!!

We spent two weeks at the Ilios at the begining of september. It was really hot for the first week but really cooled down at night in the second, also had a few days of cloud but overal good weather. The apartments are about a 10-15 min walk (depending on your alcohol consumption) from the centre of Laganas, which for us was great. It was close enough to walk to, but far enough out of it to be quiet(ish)when trying to sleep. The apartments were clean but the kitchen was basic, we ate out every night so problem solved!! The staff are really friendly and the gardener seemed to work through the night coz he was always there! The only problem we had was the kittens lived under our window, they attracted loads of kids, which when you've got a hangover it's not good. Kittens also made the dogs bark!!
If you get chance, do the scuba diving, we had a go in the pool the day before, I did n't like it but the guy let me have another go. Glad I did, was really go. The trip to the ship wreck was crap, could n't land coz it was too rough so spent majority of day on the boat feeling realy sick for no reason, would rather of been by the pool. It's well worth seeing from the land tho, take a walk to the opposite cliff, better view, just don't fall off!!!
Would def recommend the Ilios, had a mix of families, groups and couples so suits most. The only question remains is, how did they keep the pool so cold?

I need to know if the studios at the ilios aprtments in Laganas are spacious or not just before I book up. I have stayed in a 1bed apt there and they were alright but how big are the studios?

This hotel is perfect for families, good location, and very clean. Not very quiet due to animals in area i.e. cockerill and dogs. If you are with a group of girls or group of boys we definately would not recommend you to stay here as it is more like being in prison not on holiday.

Party consisted of husband,17 year old son + mate, and me. We all had a great time. Ilios good standard, clean, friendly staff, nice pool and bar, self catering facilities were 2 ring primer stove and three pans,may be okay if you usualy go camping! We met lots of nice people, the boys had fun around the pool and in the bar at night. Laganas was a friendly resort so I was quite happy for them to go out alone in eve for a boogie, less trouble on streets than at home. Good location far enough away from centre not to be too noisy, nearest bar 5mins walk, shop 2 mins. Resturants outside centre best value,Salt & pepper and garden of eden V good, Greek village good food but don't use the loo.I must mention the demented cockerel that crows at all hours of day and night, you get used to it. After a few beers we decided the poor thing gets woken up at all hours, so its confused all its doing is asking "IS IT MOOORRRNNNIIINNNNNNNNN". (Mell, I will always think of you when I hear a cockerel after this)All in all a fab location,and holiday. I would recomend these appartments unless you are on a tight budget.

WE HAD A FANTASTIC TIME EVEN THOUGH THE OWNERS DID THEIR BEST TO RUIN IT FOR US. WORD OF ADVICE DO NOT BRING ANYONE BACK TO YOUR APARTMENT; THE SECURITY STAFF WAIT FOR YOU ARRIVING HOME AND INTEROGATE EVERYONE, AND AS THEY SAY IF YOU NAMES NOT ON THE LIST YOU NOT GETTING IN. THEY ARE EXTREMELY STRICT ABOUT NOISE AS WELL SO BE WARNED, AN AFTER HOURS PARTY IS HARD TO HOLD. SHOULD YOU NEED TO SNEEK ANYONE IN THERE IS A BACK ENTERANCE THROUGH A GATE IF ITS NOT LOCKED. THE OWNERS WILL CHARGE YOU FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS SO BEWARE; OUR CAMP BED COLLAPSED AFTER A BRIEF MOMENT OF PLAYING AIR GUITAR! CAUSED MAJOR PROBLEMS, AND ONLY AFTER MUCH NEGOTIATION DID WE GET AWAY WITH ONLY HAVING TO PAY £60. IGNORING THE OWNERS GRUMPINESS IS BEST PRACTICE, THE POOL IS GREAT LOTS OF NICE FOLK AND SOME CUTE GUYS TOO.

Ilios Apartments are lush. u av ur own shower, toilet, hairdryer and balcony. woteva apartment u get (1 or 2 bedroom) all of dem are gorgeous. dey r all every clean, smell nice and the cleaners come in every other day to clean 4 ya.

just back from ilios.really good pool loads of fit babes. food at the bar was gorgeous,try the ilios special burger,yum. maria is lovely but don't worry about vicky bad pmt i reckon.you can get a drink at any hour. i highly recommend it

We went to laganas may last year,We stayed at the illios Aparthotel.The staff were brillint and we meet lots of great people.Due to it being so good we decided to go back to the same hotel and we are also getting married in laganas this year.So if any of the people that were their at the end of may 2003 over kids hols are stayinr their or in laganas it would be great to see you.ie:Dean and Tracy,Rob and Marcia and Grandad and family,and anyone else who was in the big group photo on the steps.you know who you are.Hope to see some of you and you can come and have drink with us to celebrate our wedding

Went to the Ilios Apartments 2001 + 2002, was very dissapointed that Yannis was not there in 2002 ( i believe he had fallen out with the owners)but met up with him on the strip,and by the way i disagree with some folks comments, Maria was crap
Went elsewhere 2003, but we are back in August 2004, hopefully Yannis will still be there, and if he can gain access to this site," get some weight off you barrel of lard,ha,ha)and get some drinking practise in Yannis,the huddersfield gang are back in town.But this year there is only the two of us

We got back from the Ilios on 20/10/03 after staying there for 2 weeks. We had a fantastic holiday, and we will miss the staff especially Vicky. Yiannis could be ignorant sometimes, but he certainly knew how to get people involved in the games at night. We met some brilliant people there, especially the 'Love Tour 2003' gang, who were there for a wedding. The apts are perfect for families with a childrens pool, football area, table tennis area, badminton and grassy area. There is also a childrens park by one of the apt blocks. The food at the snack bar is plenitiful, reasonably priced, well cooked and a good selection (especially the pizza's and bacon roll). I would recommend that you try them. The leaving present was a really nice touch and made you feel even more like one of the family! Hello to the Love Tour gang, the Hanvey and Murray families. Vicky & co. we will see you in 2005 for our Wedding!!!!!!! A 100% HOLIDAY!!!

Hello, I have just been back home now for an hour and a half we have been there for two weeks 5th-19th October. I was there with my sister, husband and daughter Maia. I had a great time, the apartments are great, the staff were great and wasn't too far from the centre was actually about right. Met some lovely people including the 40 Brummies for the Wedding party hope you have some good memories that you've taken home with home. Hello, to Vicky behind the bar and Yannis too, only one week to go guys and thats you finished for the summer. Definitely would stay there again and hello to the Murray's (you know who you are).

Ilios apartments were fab, they were in the right location. Me and my friends Lisa, Stacy and Stacy had such a good time. Zeros was really fun and cocktails and dreams did the best drinks! Bad boys played the best music and we always danced in their. We met some really nice lads from London!!!!!!!!!! and also from Wakefield.It was two weeks of non stop partying and we will always remember it! We made Yannis cry but he is so rude and always ignored us until he could finally be bothered to speak to us. One day in Cherry Bay we ignored him and he didn't like it so he cried, never mind Yannis you will get over it, ha ha. We loved it in Greece and I miss it so much, def go back one day!!

Hi just got back from Laganas myself, the apartments are ideal for families especially ones with young children. Unfortunatly it seems that the tour operator is trying to turn it into an 18-30 type resort, heavy dance music is blasted out by the pool all day even when there's mainly young children in the pool, if you ask for the music to be turned down which the owners don't mind doing then it's usually turned back up by one of the Heat Wave reps. A shame because illios is a really nice resort which seems purpose built for families with young children. A word about the barman, Yanni, he is one of the most arogannt people you'll ever meet. Unless you're a 16 year old busty girl he won't be in a hurry to serve you. He purposly ignores customers that he doesn't think he can bed. Saying this we had a brilliant time, if you ignore Yanni and the music it is a really clean resort in a great location.

We got back on the 16th sept after 2 weeks at the Ilios, we wish we were back there! Yannis, your great although you beat my bloke at Pool! I got back and passed uni, if your reading this Yannis!
The apartments are clean and family owned, nice place and great locations for young couples who want to be slightly out the way.
Recommend this place to anyone!

hey been back from zante for a week! and i had a great time! everyone is great and the new entertainer Elinor is cool! Welsh laydee u see! the hotel is in a great place not far from anywhere but not in the middle ov it either! its sort ov a mixtue ov young ones and families! if u flirt with the barman im sure u'll get a free drink! Hi Victor and Tosis ur both a gd laugh and tosis is usefull for when u come in at 6 in the mornin without a key! had a great holliday in ilios! cheers guys! xxx

got back from the ilios 2 weeks ago, still wishing i was back there! the staff at the ilios were amazing especially my surrogate big brother yannis! (thankyou for some amazing nites out and say hi to gino) the accomodation was great and the cleaners were really nice (as they didn't make much noise incase of waking me up mid-hangover!) thankyou to the manager and the manageress, they were great! and george the security man for making sure we all got home safely!! me n my cousin vicky met some amazing people out there, fern, hayely, fae, lewis, chris and .......i cant remember his name....oh lyndon!!! hopefully revisit the ilios again very soon! thankyou for a great holiday! xxxxx

Yannis was the best barman and everyone was so great out there! Definitely would love to go back! The people were great and all sorts! Not noticed any comments by others that were there when we was!
