Your Joking - Im going there in August - What was the other apartments like that you had to stay in instead?? Good I hope!!

Sorry folks,just returned from 1 week's holiday (2nd May - 9th May inc) at what should have been our chosen accommodation (Kostas Apts),but we were told on arrival at Zante airport (thanks Kosmar!)that they will be closed for the season due to building work.(They're having a reception and bar added on).
So sorry again but you won't be staying there this year !

can anyone tell me how close kostas and stephanos studios are to kostas appartments???!

We stayed here last week and I was disappointed at the lack of cleanliness, especially the dampness of the rooms. They smelled and I found the bathroom disgusting. This may have been a consequence of staying late in the season but I have stayed in two other Laganas accomodations which were basic like this, but cleaner.

The adjoining Ikaros Hotel has a lovely pool and the attached Chicago Pool Bar was really nice.

The studios are based on the very noisy Kalamaki Road and therefore you find that your sleep is never undisturbed!

Stayed there last year, really enjoyed it, they were basic but clean,was noisy in the evening but quietened down about midnight.Close to beach,about a 10-15 minute walk from the main strip depending how fast you walked,Ikaros next door, Vivian and Boziki's opposite both with swimming pools.From what i can gather they have TV's in the rooms this year too.Would go back.

just c*m back from staying there for a week and the studios were excellent. very basic but they were very clean and modern. only thing that was annoying was the music blasting from the hotel across the road and they played the same songs over and over again! other than that i'd go back and stay there again!

I stayed at the Kostas last July...What can I say..The apts are in a good location I think..About 5-10 mins walk from the beach and bout 15 to the main strip for nightlife! They are located by one of the main roads so the dddrrrrr from mopeds can be a pain but we were to drunk to get to bothered lol!
As for the rooms themselves...They are quite small and clean but very basic...The bathrooms are titchy with no shower curtain as well which is a pain when u flood the place lol!! Overall they are ok for a 'base' but if you are the type of person who spends a lot of time there then there are better places to stay! Lee

Nice clean apartments, good location for the beach but a bit of a hike to get to the main strip at night. The big downside was the noise, motorbikes rattling along at all times of the night and day, make sure you take a good pair of earplugs to get a decent nights sleep!

Not a bad apartment, close to bars and restaurants and only 15 mins from the beach. Beware though, there is only hot water in the afternoon.

Dunno bowt hotel but me n me mates (7 of us) will be out there for a fortnight from 26th too Luke. Been to Laganas before and it is a scream wherever you go. C U there. Yipppppeeeeee. Jennifer. xxx

There are going to be 10 of us on a Stag Week staying in the Kostas Studios from the 26th May 2002. If any one could send us any info about where to go, what these appartments are like, what the night life is like it would be appreciated. Thanks in anticipation Luke

It was our first time in Greece and we were happy to return to Kostas apartments. the family are WONDERFUL. The rooms are very close to restaurants and bars but not too noisy. The beach is 5 minutes walk. We are going again this year.

how near the main nightlife is it.......... is it clean.....and lively......... maybe a picture of inside the rooms.......... thank you
