hiya we r stayin in the aphrodite htoel but i cant find anything on the internet about it we just wanna no if its any gud nd wots it like reply xx

Stayed here from 15th august to 29th august. 1st week with my 5 year old son, 2nd week with a big group of people. Spiros and his family were great, extremely friendly (remembers everybodys name!)and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Apartments were fairly roomy and very clean. You are based at the top end of the strip so it is quiet at night but only a taxi away from the nightlife. Everywhere along the strip will cost you between 5 & 6 euros.
There are 3 restaurants within walking distance (for a 5 year old!), and a supermarket which opens till late just across the road.
We had a lovely time and hopefully will be visiting again soon.

An excellent apartment. Was very clean and basic, just what is needed for self catering.

Also, was in a nice quiet locaiton, with a pool and bar. Random free drinks supplied by the host and was made to feel welcome. A little far up the main strip, but if you have mopeds its not a problem. Definately recommended.

we stayed here for 2 weeks 11th - 25th july, had a fantastic time n got engaged! the appartments were clean n a decent size, only had a tiny bath/shower thing but it still did the same thing. the pool was nice n fairly big n there was loadsa lilos for u to use (we left our 1 with the pink flowers!). spiros the owner was fantastic, gives you free shots of random things, always says "good day, good day?" and "very hot, very hot!" the beach n bars are about a 30 min walk away, taxi's are always about 5-6 euros whereever you go. theres a supermarket across the road n the guy with the tash was very helpful. only bad things are the mosqitoes so take repelent n a plug for your room and the airport on the way home its tiny.

p.s if any1 gets room 20, its not a turd in the freezer it was a can of coke that exploded n we couldnt be bothered 2 clean it up. the cleaners mite of spotted it tho!

got bac on the 18th july, had a wicked time. would reccomend it to anyone. definatley hire a motor boat and go to turtle island. also buy a snorkle and go swimming around in the sea coz u may find a few turtles along the sea bed.

Heyyy hoooo, first off me and 10 pals stayed at these apartments form the 4th of July to the 11th this year and they were brilliant. They aret situated on the main street so ur away from all us mobs yet they are a 5 euro taxi away from any where on the main strip down to the beach or if u fancy the 15-20 minute walk to the first few bars such as Rescues. Id say it is more a groups hioliday than a couples holiday for sure. We enjoyed the kareoke in pink panther and made sure we ut on a show. Id defo go laganas next year the only flaw is the airport is tiny only one conveyor belt and one check in desk so when ur checkin out with four other flights it aint exactly ideal 2 say ur in a mood from goin home n e way. But apart from that beers were cheap enuff ul pay more in the better clubs so get drunk at the cheaper bars first and ul b happy as larry, hope iv give u sum more info cheers,

Me and my girlfriend Tracey stayed here for a week on 13th July 2004. We had excellent time in Zante. Laganas is a great resort with plenty of great places to eat and drink. Lots of free drinks!

Aphrodite Studios (not Aphrodite Hotel) was great. Very clean and tidy and the owner Spiros is fantastic. Extremely friendly and if you buy him a drink he will give you free shots and will look after you. Food here was nice too and decent breakfast. There is a local shop opposite which is very handy.

The pool is lovely and averaged sized. There is a bar, 2 pool tables and poolside shower/toilets. I would recommend this place to stay.

The only small drawback is it is a little far to walk to main strip and beach. However taxis are about 5 - 6 euros to anywhere on strip/beach which is not too bad and there are bars all the way if you fancy walking.

Just got back from a weeks stay at these apartments. Couldn't fault them. Only 15 mins from all the nightlife. Apartments were clean, food lovely and the pool was great. The staff and owners were really helpful too, definately highly recommended to anyone planning on going to Zante!

we went to spiros and marias place august 2003 and what a great time we had especially the bbq nights we had spiros family were so friendly, it was a great place to stay for 2 weeks definetly recommend to anyone. my family met some great people there pool music food and studio, hopefully we'll go back some time soon.

We spent a fantastic two weeks in Laganas thanks to Spiros...what a star! Through lost keys and our late-night drunken pool games, all he could do was smile. Thankyou, and we'll be back in force next year! xxxx

To get into town then you are best of getting a taxi as the walk is about 20 minutes there and about 40 minutes walking back when your drunk.
We just ate at the appartments most of the time as the food there is nice and cheap but there are 2 restaurants that are nice about within about 3 minutes walk of the appartments.
Unfortunatly the rooms aren't air conditioned but you can hire a fan for 10 euros for the week.

aphrodite appartments were fantastic.couldnt believe wot we got 4 our money!the pool was lovely,greatchoice of food and fab cocktails at reasonable prices.the welcome frm Spiros and family was most definitely appreciated.id reccomend it 2 any1.

Got married sat 12th July 03 and flew out to laganas. we had the best week ever at aphrodite apts. Spiros and his family are the nicest people on earth, rooms are immaculate and the pool is so damn cold but nice. Got back to the UK on sunday 20th july. ENGLAND SUCKS. Going back next year for anniversary. Thanx Spiros for your help and friendship!!! P.S mosquitos are a pain in the ass....and leg.....arms...etc.
P.S if you are going to Laganas go to FATSO's on Kalimaki Road, it's owned by yanks or canadians, for 3 and a half euros (Just over £2.00) you can have breakfast ALL YOU CAN EAT!!! plus they fill up your tea/coffee in the price!!!

went in party of nine in june had an amazing time!appartments were fantstic,wouldnt have stayed anywere else.locals were oh so friendly and food and drink was well cheap.all in an outstanding holiday.cant wait to get back out there some time soon.the weather was fab,pool was lovely so was the talent around it!had some really wild nights out with lots of cocktails and naked antics!good fun had by all.xx

Hi, just got back from a week's holiday out in Zante and we can
honestly say we had a time to remember!!!!! The hotel is great,
extremely clean & tidy, the pool is fun with loads of lilos to play
with, & a poolside bar provides drinks all day and night (perfic).

Laganas is busy & just a cheap taxi ride away, theres loads of
great places to go - can't remember all the names but a couple
that come to mind worth checking out are - Cocktail & Dreams,
Bad Boys, Cherry Bay and Ocean Club. My advice is get plenty of
rest before you go - we managed to get a grand total of approx
10 hours sleep over the whole holiday "Brighton Boys" we blame
you!!!!!

Doesn't have to be that manic - its great for all - we just like to

three 18 yr old girls going to aprhodite apps in late july for a week. wanted to know whether there was any nice blokes going same time as us?? and does anyone no how much spendin money u reccommend taking- do u hav to pay for the clubs? wot clubs do ppl recommend and wot music do they play? xxxx

It was ace!!! Me and my friends went there 28/06/02 for 2 wks, we have just booked to go back to zante again this yr but staying at the Christina as we couldnt get Aphrodite. Its a great place, really clean and good food and drinks at the bar. Its a bit out of town, but the pool is fab and there are cheap taxis around all the time so its easy to get into town. Cocktails & Dreams and Rescue were the best places to go to, we loved it! Cant wait to go back.

We're going to the Aphrodite Apartments on 1st June. How far is it from the bars/clubs? Do you have to get a cab, or can you walk it?

We stayed here 8-15th Sept.Great place to stay. We had a room overlooking the pool, a great little balcony & music provided next door! (it was better than Spiros' choice!) The place was clean & well looked after & everything was on hand. The only down fall is the step on the way into the complex, which I managed to trip over 2 nights running!! (I don't think the G&T's helped though!)

We stayed at the Aprodite Appts from the 8th - 15th September and we can all honestly say how impressed we were with the cleanliness of the whole place from the apartment itself to the pool area etc..it could not be faulted!!!. Spiros was so friendly and welcoming, poor guy had to be to put up with my boyfriend watching bloody horse racing 24/7 in the bar!!!. We all had an absolute brilliant time in Laganas it is really busy and lively but not like Faliraki which is a good thing. All four of us are totally depressed to be back in England after such a good week and we would ALL strongly recommend the Aphrodite Apts and Laganas if u r after a great hol. Also while i am on would like to say a big hello to Howard, Keith, Toni and Jen who we met over there!!.

Just got back after 7 days staying here. Spiros and all his staff work hard and are a credit to the complex. Never seen somewhere or been somewhere so clean polite helpfull and friendly. The rooms were spotless. The food in the bar is good value for money and plenty everytime.location wise the apartments are far enough away from Laganus town to get peace and quiet and not to far that ya have to get a cab into the town. An excellent holiday and a big thanks to Spiros for his hospitallity.

hi folks we have just arrived back from aphrodite its our 3rd year there & we have already booked 4 next year 10.08.03 we love spiros& maria we just love the greeks there so friendly & its amazing how they remember u every time u go back some of u might no us my hubby is known as elvis their are alot of places 2 eat in u must try the tavern just on the main road just as u come out of aphrodite the owners name is christos & timos just mention our names they will probably laugh its an excellent place 4 young & old ppl & also very cheap once you have been you will wont 2 go back . i will say though dont do the cruise its 7hours long & u may not c a turtle either hire a speed boat or go on the turtle boats there just as good & much cheaper hope u have enjoyed reading my message & enjoy ur holiday love sue & mike hodder x

we did not even stay there ... we stayed over the road and used their pool. it was great though, i reckon you have an excellent time if you staying here, whether you wanna go out all the time or have a quiet holiday, its in walking distance of main town, but far enough away to be quiet. many thanks to spiros and family for the free drinks and pool tokens we all got, even though we weren't staying there!

We are staying at the Aphrodite Apartments in August, the rest of our family group are staying in the Hotel Ikara, how far away are the two locations from each other please.

This is a good base for a holiday, however its a long walk to the beach taking around 45 mins.the noise level on a night can get quite but in general it's fairly quiet.There are loads of inflatables in the pool so its great for kids and big kids alike. Theres a good supermarket just across the road (try his own wine!!.

Help please.. four of us are staying at these aptmnts 8th Sept. Getting soo many different reports about Laganus. All we want is decent basic accom and most of all able to get a decnt nite sleep. Hopefully the aptmnts are far enough away from the hulla ballo of the main town...anyones help will be really appreciated. NOT looking for another Ibiza on speed 24 /7 noisey holiday thanks....been there done that...and getting to old lol.

Hi never been to Zante b4 and am staying in the Aphrodite apartments, are they really in the middle of nowhere? What are the best beaches to visit and how do you get to them. Cheers!!!

Had a good holiday at Aphrodites and found Spiros very frendly. The night were noises especially in the early morning with cockrels crowing and dogs barking.A bit far from town but we found that a bus pass at 8.20 on a night, which we used to go in to Laganas and on the way back stopped at Nicos for a cocktail. (must try a Banana Colarder.the missus got addicted to them)this make the journey back bearable.Overall realy good holiday

Just got back from Zante 2 days ago, originally stayed in Alikanas but got moved to laganas due to the rooms in Alikanas being crap, afrodite is lovely, Spiros and his missus Alexandra are lovely and are so welcoming, but they won't stand for any noise late on as its a family run place which he keeps absolutly spotless, look out for the chickens at the back of the apartment, you'll hear a sqawking one night and the next day they're all gone!! Quite a 25-30 min walk from the beach in Laganas which isn't a good beach, Kalamaki beach is better, we hired a car for 8 days from Flash which is literally just around the corner, also Jimmys taverna is excellent and try the locally produced win at the supermarket. The rep Nicole is ace, a good down to earth Leeds lass. Remember me to her (just mention me dads 60th and she'll know who). Enjoy!!

we stayed at the Aphrodite last year (2001)and really rated it. The kids loved it and everyone, Spiros & family, was very welcoming and friendly. the food at the bar is good and the atmosphere was great. We loved it and cannot wait to go back.

me and my friends have booked to come here later this year, however there was not enough room left in the apartments for everyone, so some booked in at Domenika apartments. someone who has been before siad that these 2 apartments are next door to each other but they are not sure. Does anybody know for sure?

very clean basic accommodation but 40mins walk from the beach. This did mean it was quiet at night unless you went out. lots of places to eat locally and Spiros arranged for a courtesy car to pick us up and take us to Taverna Dennis(Dennis picked us up himself)Excellent greek restaurant. Dennis showed us around the kitchen and treated us like royalty. Highly recommended.

Excellent location, 5 minute scooter/taxi from the centre or 25 minute walk. The pool was a definite Kidney shape and there was lots of inflatables to play with. Spiros didn't seem to like our Team Leader, but overall if you are looking for a simple place to stay on a tight budget come here. Ideal for young people rather than families as 24 hour music played from the bar.

too noisy for a family holiday

Hoping to goto the Aphrodite or Tassia Apartments on the 30th aug 2001. Anyone been there or go, can you let me know what they are like. And dont forget the Zakfari and Island Cruise well woth it. It's my 4th time there and is a great place good nightlife in laganas. See you there

man, this place if far out. if you want a quiet holiday don't come here, it's just far too rad man. loved the rooms and all in all it was f**kin' out there man (a few too many pikeys though)

Is there anybody else staying in these apartments early May?

The Aphrodite is approx 35-40 mins walk to the beach. Taxis into the centre or to the beach cost 1300drx.

Can someone tell me how far from the beach aphrodite apartments are?

We visited Aphro in May 2000. The accommodation is, as ever in Greece, very basic. However, the hosts, Spiros and Family are very friendly and helpful. We loved the pool - no need to leave the apartment if all you want to do is tan and relax!
