Hi Glen, I hope your ok, It's Rachel Dawes here, Zante "The Village Appts" are quite scary when you first see them, but it is quite nice. If your in the "Old Block" staff quarters, ask to be transferred, the land lady is lovely and very helpful. Enjoy your honeymoon.
Rooms have fridges and you can hire out fans from the bar. The hotel is great for all ages. Entertainment is layed on everynight (quizes, bingo, kareoke etc). They also show films and popular tv shows throughout the day.
Mads and I are going on our honeymoon to village inn on 30/08/01. Mads first time abroad. We are with JMC. Do the studio appartments have a fridge and can we get fans? We are both 26. Are we going to enjoy ouselves.
Hi..I'll be staying at the Village Apts from 1st week in August - is it alright for couples?? Is there anywhere to hire fans etc??
Jayne, i havn't got a photo as such, but the hotel is quite nice so don't worry. The only bad thing is there isn't enough sunbeds to go around so you need to get up early(ish) if you want a good one.
Do U know where there is a picture? Is it really busy in August?
So a taxi it is then! Cheers for all your help
THIS IS MESSAGE FOR JOHN FURTHER TO LINZI`S COMMENTS ABOUT THE WAY THEY DRIVE,WE STAYED THERE AND TO SAY THEY DRIVE LIKE DICKHEADS IS A BIG UNDERSTATEMENT TAKE MY ADVICE AND PAY THE £2 FOR A TAXI.NOT SURE IF THE JMC REP HAS CHANGED BUT IF YOU GET JUSTINE SHE`S REALLY NICE AND FRIENDLY. HOPE THIS HELPS ADRIAN
Linzi, your a legend! cheers for all the info. Hope you have a great time next year.
THANKS FOR YOU HELP LINZI!! MUCH APPRECIATED! I CANT WAIT TO GO NOW, AND WE WILL TRY THE SOUL NIGHT!! THANKS KEV :0)
There's not much path to walk on, the majority of the walk is on the road. Be careful as they drive like d***heads, i'd advise you to get a taxi they're not that expensive. All in all you'll have a great time, we've tried to get back to the village apartments for next year but they're already fully booked.
OK, me and my mates are staying here in from the 24th and i was wondering.... As far as i can gather its about a 20min walk from the clubs which im not bothered about, but can anyone enlighten me as to what the walk is like when your pissed? (i dont really fancy been hit by a car or anything)
Kevin, you'll have a great time here, it's quite far from all the nightlife and the beach but the complex has a bar that serves food. The only thing i wouldn't do again is go to their barbeques, they're around £5 each and everything is cooked in the kitchen, we got 1 piece of chicken 1 sausage and abit of chicken on a stick. If your'e going with JMC thay do a soul night for £20 which is brill if you like wine as you can drink as much as you like.
We are going to this complex in 2 weeks!! And just wondered if anybody had any other comments to add about it! Thanks
We went at the beginning of May and was the first to arrive but it got really busy after a few days.Owners are lovelly though the 2 older brothers are quite grumpy. Rooms are basic but are very clean. I would stay here again but i wouldn't recommend it for young children as there is no kids pool.
Village Inn is set on the main road of Laganas, but about 20 mins walk from the centre, and 25 mins to the beach. Although it is on the road, it is in a quiet area with some shops, restaurants and bars close by. Availability in October should be good as the season is winding down then. For hotel facilities i would chack the tour company brochures.
whats around the area? full details of the hotel facilities etc how much availability there is in oct is it suitable for a 14 yo? does it provide well?
Nicely situated away from the bustle but far enough to provide a nice stroll to all nightlife. The owners do their best to please the clients.
