The Air con is 40 euros a week, if you are near the bottom you will not needed it as the rooms are cool at night.
It is also 15 euros a week for the fridge and 10 euros a week for the safety box.
I have just returned from the hotel today and it is really great, the staff are really helpful.

Hi Vicky,
We are looking to stay at the Pallas Hotel and have price hotel and fights separtely. can anyone tell us the best and cheapest way to get from the Airport to the Pallas Hotel.
Can you recall the go-carts at the top of the strip just opposite the Kalamaki Road, you take the side road beside them past Police station and the Pallas is 600m up that road, quiet location. The restaurant that runs the free bus service, the Sarakina is further up the hill
Hi can anyone tell me were the pallas hotel is situated in lagana, been there before stayed in zante park hotel, cant remember seeing it.
I have just booked the Pallas and paid directly on the web site and saved about £500 for 4 of us booking with the hotel. We have stayed at the pallas 3 times now. The web site is : www.hotelpallas.co.uk
It takes about five minutes to walk from the hotel to he center of the strip
dave and helen had another great holiday at the pallas. thankyou to all the family for making us so welcome again. hope the two grannies are not spoiling the baby too much. see you next year barry love
Can you tell me whereabouts the Hotel Pallas is compared to the main strip. I've been to Zante before and always stayed on Kalamaki Road (nr Cream bar). How long would it take to walk to the centre of the strip (Zero's for example)? If anyone could let me know that would be great. Thanks!
Coming back for the 4th time on the 18th August. Does any who has been recently know if the cash machines are reliable enouth yet to use them to draw all my spends out? If any one else is going to be there that week, leave a message.

Glad to see there is another female who travels to Laganas on her own. A few people seem surprised at this being done. I always travelled with company until I went a week on my own in 2003 and last year I went on my own for 3 weeks. Last year I met with company for the first 10 days and then I was on my own for the rest of my holiday. I thoroughly enjoyed both holidays. At least you can do what you want and when you want when on your own. Sometimes it can get a bit lonely in the evenings if you have not met with company but I can't remember being bored at all. Have been going to Laganas since 1999 so have got to know a few of the locals by going into their Restaurants etc. Haven't stayed in this Hotel but have found the people in Laganas very friendly over the years I have been going to this resort. This year I intend going to Laganas once more but not sure when. Will bear this Hotel in mind if travelling on my own in the future as I like a place that makes you feel at home.
the best hotel that i have every been to. Loved it so much that i plan to go back this year. I am so glad that i have found it. For the first time ever as a single person that travels alone, which i know a lot of people find hard to grasp. this hotel made me feel great, safe, welcomed and i enjoyed it so much that i know that i will be going every year.
Hello to all at the Pallas Hotel, my wife and i were at the Pallas august 2003 and loved it so much we are comeing back on the 18th september 05 so we look forward to seeing all the family and having another great holiday.

Just spent an excellent week at the Pallas Hotel (September 2004). The Hotel was in a nice quiet location but within easy reach of the town for the bars and restaurants.
Everyone in the hotel was extremely friendly making the stay even more special.
A special thanks to Demitrius for keeping us entertained, fed and watered (substitute alcoholed for the last part).
A highly recommended place to stay, even if you're travelling on your own.
Andrew

We will be off to the Hotel Pallas on 2nd September for the 13th year running - we can't wait - we have seen Dina growing up and now she is married and expecting her first child - the Xenos families are the best hosts, the hotel is spotlessly clean, the food is tasty and they can't do enough to make your stay a happy one. They love children, the bar is open all night and tended by the best bar guys in Greece! The hotel is well placed for quietness and within easy walking distance to the beautiful tavernas and exciting night clubs. The hotel and the family appeal to all ages - can't wait to see you all - much love and kisses xx Jill, Tony and Ioni
Hi Sam....We were at the hotel in June and there were a couple of single girls staying at the hotel, they had a good time.Everybody seems to get on very well as there is a good mix of people that go.Just read some of the comments here, they will give you a good idea about the friendliness of the hotel.Have a great time.
I am thinking of booking for the end of July...I am travelling on my own (friends let me down last minute) would you recommend for single girl travelling alone!?
Going to Pallas hotel last two weeks in September
What's the weather like around that time and any other info would be great
Having just returned from a 10 day holiday at the Pallas,I can yet again say what a wonderful time we both had.The family who run the hotel are so friendly and caring, they work so hard so you can have a great time.Great rooms, wonderful pool, good food!! We will definately be going back for the 7th time next year!! (to young dimitri--Sagapo!!)
For the lady who wanted to knowmore about the Pallas Hotel the web site is www.hotelpallas.co.uk hope this helps you with the info you wanted. Darren
Hi Steve
We got back last Thurs from our 3rd time there(I must say, every time we go, it's better than the one before!!)
I'd definitely recommend you get a jeep and take a tour of the island (that's as long as you're confident on the roads!!) - it really is a beautiful island to visit and there are loads of hidden gems all over.
The boat trips had good reviews from other peeps who were staying at the hotel this year - but remember to take your suncream (Ric Walsh, you'll know who I'm talking about!!!)
Hope you have a fab time - I'm sure you will!!!!!!!! (I'm sooo jealous)
Sloppy fingers spring to mind, we are going for the first time,on the 30/5 to Pallas and Zante. So is there anything we should really see in Zante?
Carl, i see you are going in June, for the first time, we arrive on 30/5, is there anything we should really see in Zante
Carl, i see yoiu are going in June, for the first time, we arrive on 30/5, is there anything we should really see in Zante
The happiest hotel we have stayed in, thanks to the efforts of the extended Xenos family who have the gift of being perfect hosts. We were a bit unusual as nearly everyone else had been at the hotel before which speaks volumes for the place.
Pallas has the same rating as the Ikaros but is in a different class, being kept spotless from top to bottom with the added bonus of being in the olive groves about 250m from the end of the strip.
Breakfast was fruit juice, cereal, coffee/tea and toast but a full English was available for just over two quid. Bar meals were served morning, noon and night and were good quality and excellent value.
Stars of the show, however, are Dimitri and Dimitri who run the bar and have a laugh with everyone. Oxaw!
A great place to stay.
PS Great work with the website, Stuart Neil Davidson.
The Pallas Hotel nows has a website for anyone who may be interested its www.hotelpallas.co.uk
Em, Marc and George,
Cheers for helping to make it a great holiday. It was great to meet both of you and we're both coming back up north for the next bank holiday, if you're about (walshy47@hotmail.com) Hope had a great rest of your holiday.
Hotel was fantastic and would recommend it to anyone! Many thanks to the l'il Dimitri's mum for the brilliant strawberry Margherita!!
Marc & Em,
hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday, trying to add a photo of a dropped camera night. Wee Dimitri, sorry we missed you on sunday but will be back next May when you will be teaching maths to all. Big Dimitri, Pearl is sorry she never never made it to see you before we went home.
Hello everyone . Can anyone tell me if all suites have showers? Also which restaurant is nearest the hotel? And finally, how are the food/drink prices at the hotel and in the resort. Thanks
Hi Alan.Scroll back to your last message from 20.02.04,most of the info you need is just above! Have a good time.
Hello everyone,
My family and I are going to the Pallas this summer. Are there quieter rooms available for early bedders (about midnight)? Is brekky good? Is it easy to get sunbeds in July? Is there entertainment for kids at the hotel? Thank you in advance to anyone who replies.
alex if you need any support with dimitri just shout, he gave me 2 weeks of stick with me been a sheff wednesday fan.
Funny you should say that your flight was changed, we tried to book on the early flight and was told it was full, tickets came in and we are on the early one! Only a week to go, can't wait. I will be easy to recognise as I will be the one eating humble pie to Dimitri as Panathonikis beat Rangers 3 - 1 in Glasgow.
We'll see you there then Alex on the 6th!!! (Our flight was due to leave on the 2nd but was cancelled due to overbooking peeps now that they've moved to smaller planes......)
We were there last may and the weather was great, we are going back again on the 2nd May.
We're going for the third time in 3 weeks (6th May) - but have never been in May before - does anyone know what the weather will be like??????
Thanks
Going to Hotel pallas in late september any info or tips
Hi Lauren, The pallas is in the Direct Holidays brochure or at least it has been for the last few years.
hope this helps
ps you'll have a great time.
regards
George Porter.
me and my family are going to stay at the pallas hotel in june and need to know what tour operater do u use to book this hotel thnxs
me and my family want 2 stay at the pallas hotel in june but dont know how to book it please help thnxz
Hi Alan,we are going in June this year, fifth timers! As you can tell we love it there.
As for quiet rooms,I would try to get a room facing the olive groves. The reason for this is you would then be on the side of the hotel facing away from the pool. The pool bar is where the night time fun is so it would be quieter that side. Sunbeds are plentiful, so no worries there. And although we don't have kids, they always seem happy enough around the pool area, they will also fall in love with dimitri boys that are at the hotel.Hope this helps?
You will have a great time!!

had a really good holiday the cleanliness was excellent thanks to magaretta not sure if this is how you spell her name she was very friendly and very helpfull i was there with friends and we had a great time the only complaint was the music at the bar during the day it would be nice to have it a bit more quite while you are reading at the pool and putting the music off at about midnight as it seems to go on till the early hours which if you are staying across from the bar was rather noisey
Brilliant holiday! Going back next year!
Hello to everyone who was at the pallas between the 17th and 24th august 03 and a very big thank you to the family at the pallas for making it such an enjoyable holiday.I must recommend the greek night it was such a laugh and a great end to our holiday also definately get the air conditioning well worth it.PS like to say a big hello to Scott,Alison,Mike and Gill great last night cheers.
Jamie&Dianne-Glasgow
we would like to say big hi to everyone who stayed at the pallas hotel between 14of august& the 28th. we had a ball the whole 2 weeks it was the best hotel on the island .don,t miss the greek night it is nonstop fun all night. we would recomend any one stay here because u are made part of the family & its keept very clean at alltimes, aiso bar food is great& try afew long vodkas before u go out at night they just chill u out. P.S. get air con + fridge well worth money mike&gill room 116
just stayed at the pallas hotel for the third time and treated like part of the family as clean and friendly as ever and if u go ask dimitris to do u lemon in the eye pepper up the nose slammer (dont ask) everything about the pallas is spot on and would highly recommend this hotel to anybody the beach is a good ten minute walk but there is always a taxi for 5 euro. greek night is always a good night and well worth the 10 euro's. justin, andrea and louise collins........even went back after being put in another hotel due to a overnight delay on the flight home
We got back on Wednesday and had the best time, we've been to Zante before but this hotel has everything and the people are great, the family make you very welcome. If your going, go to the greek night brilliant time and playing bingo there is a great laugh. We are hoping to go back again next year (so see ya soon love). Hello to Jo and Jason if you read this.

xx kiss kiss xx
(p.s we didnt like it we loved it)
I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Pallas for 7 nights in July 2003. The only bad thing I can say about this hotel was the warm orange juice at Breakfast !!!
I would definately recommend this Hotel to anybody. The Greek night is worth going to - a good laugh.
I would like to say hi to a few people I met whilst on holiday, Doreen & Vinny & Katie and also Adam and Jem.
Laganas - Lots of places to eat - I would recommend the Dallas Restaurant (turn right at cosy corner). Pink panther bar definately worth a visit - cheap drinks.
Also I must say hi to Donna, Tony, Mike, Daniel, Liam and Sophia - (Yiannis Studios) - these people are the best !!!!
hey ste b.
i just got back from the pallas a couple of weeks ago. the fridge and aircon were about e25 and e30, well worth it. theres also a safety deposit box you can hire for the week, e10 and access is 24/7, so worth it aswell.
gonna add a map to the pictures for ya, dont know how well it'll come out!
laganas is only small so no chance of gettin lost. the hotel is situated down a side street which is only a couple of hundred metres long and is partially lit(street lamps quite spaced apart), however there is a police station half way down the road and we found that we would frequently bump into other guests from our hotel or a close by hotel who would walk up the same road.
once you hit the main strip you are at the opposite end to the beach which is about 10mins walk, this 10min walk is one long bar crawl, with lots of restaraunts and shops, and is pretty much all of laganas, so its busy at any hour. you'll probably find you appreciate the side street walk as it means the hotel pallas is not on the main strip, which would be chaos. plus most of the people we met said there appartments were s**te, wheras the pallas is a descent hotel.
we only went on one excursion while we were out there and that was the round island cruise. we didnt enjoy it, you might. its an all day cruise, and unless you dont mind swimmin in the ocean you wont be off the boat all day (which by the way is crowded). me and my mates did enjoy jumpin off the boat into the sea, however we werent able to get to the shipwrecked beach, which was the main reason we went, as it was to windy - on that side of the island, never felt any breeze anywhere else so my guess is your chances arent good of gettin onto the beach(unless anyone else knows differnet?). we only went for one week, so to us it was a wasted day, if your goin for two though it might be a differnet story.
you cant do any watersports (except peddle boats) on laganas beach cause of the turtles, so if you want to do this youll have to travel(taxi e20 one way) to banana beach.
last thing is its quite expensive, i took £400 for the week and spent every penny, did go out drinkin alot, but still make sure you take plenty.
all that said, we had a wicked time. hope you do to!
anything else just ask.

Hi Folks
I am due to stay at Hotel Pallas with my girlfriend the last 2 weeks of july. I am liking all the good comments about the hotel. Just wondering if any body can help me with a few questions.
1 - is the fridge and air con worth getting (is it 20 euros each / week)
2 - How far is the main strip / general bars & restaurants (walking time)
3 - Can anybody recommend any excursions or good places to go.
4 - Finally what are the pool facilties like for getting a sunbed, also how far is the beach.
Any help would be much appreciated as well as general hints & tips. Its my first time in greece and dont know what to expect.
Brill it was great, it was quiet through the day n had great spirits through the nite, it was good for the kids as the pool was huge
hi all, Even though we're goin in a party if 5, with 4 adults and a teenager!! we were woundering if the rooms are very big? Also if there is much of a night life at the hotel its self,or whether we'll have to go on the main strip?
Thanks for all your help
