Denise Beach Hotel

hi me and my friend are staying at the denise beach appartments from the 11th jily till the 18th, we are both 19-20. who is going to be there at the same time?? im so excited only 7 days to go x

We went on a family holiday last year and ended up with a room in each of the buildings but this was not a problem. The staff are really friendly here and it is far enough away from the centre of town to be relatively quiet but close enough for you to stagger home after a good night out! The food here is good too and very reasonable. The pool is nice but very cold. It is really handy for the beach and the rooms are cleaned regularly. We loved it so much that my siste and I are gonig back this year!

Eleanor you will love it. I stayed there two years ago, its really nice. I was meant to be going on the 1st July staying at Denise Beach but my mate has just let me down!! Have you been to Laganas before? how many of you are going?

I am going out to Laganas on 1st July and staying in the Denise beach we have booked one of the top floor upsairs downstairs apartments with a sea few a have been reading the messages and im a bit concerned that these arent going to be very nice anyone got anymore info please

The apartments are excellent. They are right on the beach and are very close to the main strip but far enough away that you don't hear the music etc. The staff are superb. Johny in the poolside bar is excellent company and boy does he know how to pour a drink. All in all it is brilliant place to stay.

hiya every1 can i jst say that Zante was was of the best holidays i have eva bin on. I went last year with my parents and the night life was excellent. Me and few girls are goin agen in september the 19th so if any was else is goin around this time let me no u can email me on lush_lips95@hotmail.com. O yeah and is andrios still workin in the snack bar?? If you go 2 zante you must visit ship wrecked island it is amazin the water is clear blue its like paridise. The apartments in denise beach were excellent and the staff were very friendly. The food in the snack bar was very tasty, uv gotta try the bacon and egg butty MMMMMM, anyway al see every1 in september hopefully. All u lads jst look out 4 three gorgeous blondes!!! xxxx

I am staying at Denise Beach on 1st July for two weeks. Going with a friend. It will be my forth time in Laganas and my second time staying at denise beach. it is great, location is perfect, right on the beach and about a 3 minute walk to the main strip. I cant wait. Is anyone else staying At Denise Beach around this time? if so get in touch.

Just spent two weeks here - absolutely fantastic! Studio for 2 on the ground floor of the pool bar block overlooking the road was a bit dark as there was only one way in and out but it was spotlessly clean - I think it had recently been refurbished as the brand new fridge wasn't even plugged in! Had a slight accident the first night when the showere flooded the whole room - something to do with the valve which should have taken the water away being put in upside down. Cleaner and plumber came asap and it was all sorted with no other problems for the rest of the holiday. We were a bit worried when we overhead someone complaining that their bedding had not been changed in a week - ours was changed at least 6 times in the two weeks so I don't know what the problem was. We ate in the pool snack bar every other night - the pasta carbonara and moussake were excellent. We ate at Odessey the other nights. Apartments are in a great location - although walking across the beach in the first week was a bit of alottery as to whether you got wet or not but the tide seemed to go out much further the second week so it wasn't a problem. You do need to get your towels on the sunbeds before 8 am if you want to go at the front overlooking the sea though!

Just returned from a week in these apartments. Had a great time, staff really helpful & as friendly as you can get. Accomodation good, well situated & clean, maid came every day! Thanks to everyone at Denise Beach but especially to Tassos, Stavros, Vallia, Tony & last but certainly not least, 'Beach Bar' Tassos. BTW, the food is good value too, but if you want a really good 'meal deal' out then you should checkout Odyssey - turn left @ Cosey Corner & it's on the right after about 25 yards.

I stayed at Denise Beach Apartments in June 2002. I found it a brilliant place to stay. I was there during the world cup so I enjoyed that also. The weather was excellent and we made many friends. I would certainly go again and would recommend the Denise Beach Apartments to anybody who is interested in finding out about it.
I have not been since because my husband is not very well but when things are better we shall be there.

me,my husband and my 2 boys aged 16,10 are going on the 8th july for 2 weeks so we dont know what it is like. we have been told that it is lovely so heres hoping. if anyone is going the same time it would be nice to hear from you.

Weve been to laganas 5 times, the Denise Beach was the nicest by far in self catering, mind you i did book it a year in advance to get the duplex apartment overlooking the sea, my sons 15 and enjoyed having a room to himself, the patio bar is kewl and so is the bar next to it run by Dennis, i wanna go back in june hopefully!!!

rhian I went in a studio for 3 in July last year with sea view although did not pay supplements and yes there was a balcony. I was just above the bar overlooking the pool and sea and you can read my earlier comment from August last year. Enjoy your holiday.

Absolutely faultless accommodation.
A perfect location for both the beach and the strip, plus far enough away from the strip to be quiet at night.
The staff are friendly, helpfull and pleasant, both at the reception and at the pool and snack bars.
The duplex appartments overlooking the sea are astounding. We will definitely be going back here in the near future.

Just come back from the Denise Beach Apartments, fanstatic holiday. My family and myself where accommodated in the new block across the road from the pool and bar in a one bedroom appartment. Basic but adequate, this mainly because we eat out for all our meals which is just as well because it would have been difficult to prepare even the simplist of meals, e.g. beans on toast. Air conditioning cost 80E for the fortnight. Maids very good kept room lovely and clean. excellent location on the beach but near enough to all the action without the noise of the strip. Hovever other members of our party where not so fortunate having been accommodated across the road. BEWARE THE APPARTMENTS FOR 2!!!!! on the ground floor, sorry did I say appartments I ment dungeons - one square room no windows, near to the swerage drains which where emptied every morning at 6.00am if the noise did not get you the smell did pooooooo, the electrict fittings and plugs in these appartments also left a lot to be desired with sockets not fastened to the wall and lose wires exposed. sunbeds where free around the pool area, however to get one you must be prepared to stay up till 3-4am to put your towel on one. if not you can go down to the beach and pay 4e's for a sunbed. If you want a fantastic breaky go up the road to the seashells english cafe great food reasonably prised.(Bacon and tomatoe sarnie 3e yummy).

just returned from denise beach. the 1 bed apts have air conditioning 80euros for fortnight!!! across the road is studios for 2 and 3 people no air conditioning 40 euros to hire fan for fortnight. beware of studios for 2 on ground floor like a prison cell and the no decent catering facilities. I had studio for 3 above with pool and sea view, poor catering facilities i.e no work surface to prepare even the simplest of meals, no dining table or chairs. No drawers to put clothes in just a wardrobe with 3 or 4 hangers!!! the most irritating thing about my stay here was the fact that after 12 midnight all clubs and bars on strip and beach had to turn music really low or off but at denise beach they turned it up and as i was just above the bar it was very hard to sleep and this is about 2.30 in morning not very good when you have 2 kids trying to sleep!!!!!! the pool and sunbeds are open to all brilliant but when you cant get a sunbed on complex and have to go just down the steps to the beach you have to pay 4 euros to hire from denise beach - further along just below the diving centre they are only 3 euros! Maid was fantastic 1st week but 2nd week not so good - did not come in apt for 4 days - not wise considering you cannot put loo roll down the toilet in greece- left with bin full of toilet paper!!!!!!!!

I've been to the Denish Beach 2 years ago, and I was back in June this year. I wouldnt stay anywhere else on visiting Laganas. They are great apartments.

Hi! Some friends from the UK are travelling to Laganas on September 21st. The paddies are having difficulty finding decent accommodation in Laganas and the Denise seems like a good option. Does anyone have a contact number for them or anywhere else in Laganas please?

Also, most of us are 26 - 31yrs, do you think that it will be suitable for us in Sept? We don't plan on staying in playing bridge but 18-25 isn't really our thing. Any info is much appreciated, thanks.

We had a great holiday here in 2001. Had a 1 bed appt.duplex style (2 teenage girls in the top floor-they loved it)but with no air conditioning! You can hire fans-but the appts are overlooking the sea +you get a lovely breeze thro the appt most days.Try the Patio resaurant 50yds to rt.(facing the sea) also Greek islands restaurant 100yds beyond the strip on the beach-great food +free drink of your choice when you ask for the bill so leave a space for 1 more!
The hotel part of the Denise does have air conditioning-built later!

John peter sharples, all rooms have air con you have to pay extra to get it switched on,They also hire fans from reception very reasonable, I was there last year in july we just hired a couple of fans...

Myself and my family stayed at denise beach last year,we have never had a better holliday than that so good we are going back in june 03 (NOT LONG NOW) we can't wait,IF any-one has been recently can you please let me Know if john and george are still there(barmen)...I had one hell of a drink sesh with them,(good friends)...

this was the best holiday EVER!! recommended to all ages, especially 16 - 30's (or those who look old enough or feel young!) during the day, the weather was fab, with great access to the sea, which was like walking into a warm bath (pwoar!) so good, we're going again this year and taking my older sister and little niece. it's suitable for kids too. Go to Laganas and stay at Denise Beach like i did, you will have the time of your life with friendly staff and great atmosphere (go check out the barman at Kamikaze too...mmm) bye!

Not long back from 2 weeks in Laganas. The Denise Beach Hotel is an excellent choice. You couldn't ask for much more. The staff are nice. The apartments are cleaned regulary. Hotel only 2 minutes from the Beach and 10/15 minutes from the main strip. Tip: if you are in the Hotel part make sure you get the Air Con as it's well good!

WENT FOR A FAMILY HOLIDAY AT THE DENISE BEACH FOR A WEEK. WONDERUL LOCATION. VERY CLEAN APARTMENTS. STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFULL. just back from a brilliant two weeks in zante staying at denise beach.Apartments were fairly basic but had great views, good food, brilliant pool and dodgy barmen!only kidding john(ahem)we thought the place had been taken over by germans- you NEED to get your towel out early to secure a sunbed for the day i.e 3 am or whenever you get in from a night out at rescues or zeros! music can be too loud and repetitive;I don't like reggae, i LOVE it! Fab place to stay book now and say hello to andreas, john and george from the skinny dipping scots girls xx

Hi - we stayed at the Denise Beach last year and thought they were great - location ideal for walking along the beach to the nightlife (5 mins) but quiet enough when you DO want to sleep.

HELP ME PLEASE......... Hello. I've not actually been to Zante yet, never mind the Denise Beach Apartments. I am going this August though with 3 of my mates (Weston, Manson and Doods - that's David, Chris and Craig to you just now). Anyone got anything nice to say about it all. Let me know. Cheers!

Very good.Friendly staff who are very helpful. Excellent location and close to the Laganas nightlife but not noisey.

u very rarely find shower curtains in any hotel etc in greece,have stayed in laganas 4 times before and these appartments were very good,excellent location very nice people,the complex is in 3 sections the new part has air conditioning the old part dont but makes up for it with its position about two yds from the sea. nice sea breeze. we were there from 13/8/01 to 2/9/01 great place .

Very friendly people, rooms ok but the shower was very basic no curtain so the flood got soaked. Very noisy on the main road from coaches bin wagons & motorbikes. Execlent Location though.

Four of us are just back from staying at the Denish Beach apartments. What can I say? They were great...really friendly people, right on the beach, two steps to the water..and 5 minutes walk along the beach to all the clubs...you will really enjoy it....

6 of us are going to Denise appartments. We want to have a great holiday but concerned about the location, and standard of these appartments. Will we have a great Holiday to remember !!!!!! or one to forget !!!!!

Paola - you will find that the rooms at these apartments are only available through British tour companies. You will have to ask a travel agent in the UK to find out how to book and at what price.

my sister went here last year and she loved it. the apartments are right on the beach and close to the nightlife which she said is brilliant. she's going back to the denise beach apartments this year.

Going 2 these apartments on 3 June with 3 friends. Can someone let me know how close 2 nightlife and what they are like? Cheers...
