Sunshine Hotel

hey!....... im really looking forward to my holiday in Laganas.. i've never been before but from what i've heard so far it sounds fantastic!

if anyone else is staying at this time let me know.... we are great girls and are always up for a laugh! 

Hotel was awesome, in a good location not far from the beach and the main strip. Credit to the hotel management who were very friendly to us all. I enjoyed my stay and deffo would go back again.

in zante now avin a great time!!! weathers boiling hot hotel is fantastic n all the people are really nice. made loadsa friends here and all 12 of us have just been permenantly pissed! this is the best place to party dont want to come home!!!!!!

Hello guys, Just to let you know me and 2 other girl mates went for 1 week last year to Sunshine and as soon as we got home we booked it for 2 weeks 16 july this year. The apartments are in a perfect place for everything. Practically on the beach and right at the end of the strip so excellent for stumbleing home. We have booked same room as it was sea and pool view right above the pool bar. This accomodation is fantastic! Cant Wait! Lauren x

hi just back from a week there and really enjoyed ourselfs apartments just what we wanted to chill out in the day great pool and poolside bar. and staff are really really friendly it is located in a great spot. and go to chevys on the strip for one of there wicked milkshakes and ice cream sundaes. cant say nothing bad even weather was brilliant in the 30's every day..... great holiday sad to be back but happy we went........

I agree with that one Jim, i was gonna post something similar, but didn't wanna upset him... i went to laganas last year and it was unreal, you have to go to relax bar, it's the funniest place there!

Stayed in these apartments last year, one of the best places to stay in Laganas.  About a minute away from the main strip and all the nightlife!! Its that good that we have booked again, 9 ov us are coming on the 18th June for 2 weeks  140 days and counting

Hello Anne Yes the Sunshine Apartments are the ones in the Olympic and Manos Brochure. They are in a very good location. Our family visited in June this year we had a fab time staying there. They are very friendly Rita and Chris the owners. The pool is great and the food is good too. With regards to your suitcases it is a bit of a pain but not that bad when you see where you end up its worth the trek which is only about a 7 min 10 min max humping your case so dont worry about it. You can walk in about four mins without the case or you can be mega lazy and take a taxi. Enjoy your holiday. Oh as far as being safe going back to the apartments. To take a short cut from the strip you can cut down the side of Kentucky fried Chicken and Pizza Hut and its about 3 mins but its fairly dark going the beach way round also and personally speaking I wouldnt walk back alone at that time of night so be safe and take a taxi or get someone to walk you home if you can. I felt safe at all times when I was there but there was four of us. So save some extra Euros for a taxi they wont be dear only going round the corner. Have a fab holiday. Regards June. June

Oh, sorry, one last thing... I feel very safe in Laganas in May, however, may I please have some opinions about my getting back to one of these studios in the dark, at night, on my own. What do you reckon? Safe? Thanks very much anyone who can be of help.

Can someone tell me please..... is this the same place as 'Sunshine Apartments', Laganas (just back from the beach, to the left of the main strip/road - with the sea behind one), Map Ref C7, (77 Apartments), Olympic Holidays??? It sounds as though it may be, re the Greek/Cypriot night/BBQ... If so, did anyone have difficulty getting their case to their accomodation, from the pick up point at the end of the beach (where the taxi rank is, yes???). I must pack carefully!!! haha @ me. I have been to Laganas before and so I know the locations and I want to make sure these excellent reviews refer to the accomodation I am looking to book. I would also like to add...... well done Olympic Holidays (and Sunshine Apartments) for 'allowing' single people to travel and take a holiday!!!!! :-) Power to the rights of single people! hehe Anne, Walsall, UK. Hotel Sunshine was brilliant!! our apartments were right on the pool very convinient for throwing your towel over the balcony on to a sun lounger in the morning! the staff did well to put up with 13 of us that were staying there and the other 9 who were staying else where but gate crashed our pool just about everyday! big up to the St. Helens boys! how funny when they eventually got thrown out from the pool for making to much of a splash! lol if any of u are reading this get in touch with me! hi to Jewel and Luke aswell if they ever read this hope u enjoyed ur week of peace and quiet! all in all the Hotel Sunshine was a really nice place , the rooms were well clean, the pool and the whole hotel was really well maintained and the pool bar food was really nice and value for money although the drinks were a little expensive (1 euro 50 for a small bottle of coke/fanta etc). will defo go back sum time it was awesome, great location aswell we found a little short cut that took us straight on to the main strip but beware for the hay snakes lol! not recommended to walk down alone in the dark tho. literally a 60 second walk to the beach and not so close to the main strip that its too noisy. great little place, would definatley recommend it to anyone !!

Got back just last week, and again we can't fault the place.fantastic location great pool,nice food,friendly owners.GREAT rooms nice n cool which u need in over 40 temperatures!overall awsome stay!

just got back yesterday, lovely place really clean nice rooms a wicked place to stay pool was lovely people who owned it were lovely there for was great had a wicked stay thank you and will hopfully see you next year .

The sunshine hotel was fabulous very clean the pool area was excellent plenty of sunbeds the pool bar was good value for money the staff very helpful nothing too much trouble . thanks to chris and rita for running the hotel very efficiently i can highly recommend the hotel.

The apartments are clean but quite small and the location is super! The poolarea is great and the staff is always around. Poolbar is excellent for lunches, luv their tunasalad!

In answer to your question Allie Jay air conditioning is 5 euros a day and safe deposit box is 2 euros a day and they are in all rooms. This price is correct for the season 2005. We stayed in these apartments between the 19th June and the 3rd of July and we thought they were great especially the Guy we named Mr Sunshine who was really friendly and a big thanks for the champagne you donated to us to help celebrate Kerry's 19th!!!! we met loads of nice people there who will probably rememeber us as the loud Scottish girls who were up for  laugh! oh and the one who had to do the VERY embarrassing walk of shame  The food here is great room service handy and the phone calls funny  . we def reccomend it and would love to come back and stay here next year so look out for us but you will prob hear us before you see us!!! .

The Sunshine apartments are fabulous. We got moved here two weeks before we went and we are so glad we did. They are fairly new so everything is white and airy. The rooms have air con and are double glazed and for Greece the bathrooms are really good. We had a quarter bath and shower and hot water most of the time. The pool are is excellent plenty of sunbeds and parasols. The food in the pool bar is very good value I always had spaghetti neopolitan for 4 euro a big plateful and delicious. Bowl of fries is only 1 euro 50 cents.

The location is very good. It takes 3 minutes tops to go accross the road from the Sunshine cut round the Dimitri apartments and follow the track to the left and you come out on the main strip beside Pizza Hut and KFC. Go to the right of the Sunshine and follow the road round say 3 mins also and your on the main section of Laganas beach. Its tucked away so you dont hear any noise on an evening from the bars on the strip. My kids who are 11 and 12 could saftely go down to the beach or onto the strip for a Hagan Daz ice cream (whilst light) and be back to the apartments in 15 mins. There is also a little mini shop next to the Sunshine for your brad, milk etc where prices are more or less the same as in the supermarket plus you will ladies be served by this gorgeous young Greek man you will know what I mean when you see him lovely! Very glad we got put in the Sunshine.

The owners Chris and Rita in which is very much a family business both speak very good English. run this hotel very efficiently. On our last day when our Manos rep failed to post our departure times Rita helped us enormously and if it wasnt for her we probably would have missed our flight. There is 24 hour reception and the whole place feels very safe and secure.

I can highly recommend the Sunshine aparthotel and I am sure if you are staying there you will have a great time. Try the bacon rolls for breakfast in reception area my kids say they are the best butties ever. The full English was lovely too.

Going to Tassi this Sunday never been to Greece before. Can anybody tell me is there are alot of mosquitos at this time of year and are there any screens at the windows to stop them. Also,Is there a fan in the room? Does anybody have a web address or telephone no. Thanks

Me and my friend are staying here hopefully for two weeks at the end of August, does anyone know how much the airconditioning will be for the two weeks?

I loved every day of my staying in Sunshine Aparthotel! Me and my boyfriend were there for one week, and enjoyed every minute of it. Great personel, spotfree rooms and a fantastic poolarea.
It works for familys also, because it's quiet although it's perfect location near the great nightlife.
But most of all, its perfect for youths! We are going there again, with like eight friends in june the 28th, staying a week this time. JOIN US AT THE PARTY! Excellent! Go there! Now!

is this the kind of place that you can stay if you're a worker? could you stay for the whole season or is it a tourists place only? it sounds ideal as its not far off the strip? please help thanks x

I was a rep here and loved the place. Never any problems. In 4 months only ever had one person come to speak to me, and that was asking where they could hire a kettle!! Rooms are spotless, all the staff are very friendly. It was a pleasure repping this hotel. Two seconds from the beach, two mintues from the main strip, but don't worry about noise, quite a family/couples hotel. Any questions please ask.

hi, i didnt stay here but my mates did. if you have young family it is very near to the main strip of bars and clubs which may cause problems. very friendly and clean apartments tho. it is a family hotel tho so should be no problem. hope this has helped

We have booked to stay here next June and cannot find any info apart from the brochure. Has anyone stayed here who can tell me what it is really like?! Although we know Laganas pretty well, we haven't been for a few years and this will be our first trip with our two girls (7 & 4). Is it friendly, clean, close to the beach and near our favourite restaurant, Danny and Steve's The Greek Islands?!
