hiya :D i loved it at the admirals and it is really easy 2 get to!!!!

omg i can still remember the first time i ever went 2 Tsilivi... i stayed in the admirals with the original staff... lol dan george egor kate mikey!!!

We are going back to the Admirals this year (4th year in a row). we had to have air con last year and the year before and it was never a problem. I dont think all rooms have it though. George is not there this year, dont know why. It will be strange without him. We cannot fault the Admirals. Some call it but we would not keep returning if it was not any good. Its clean and the kids love it.  Cant wait to go. Hope nothing much has changed.

We visited The Admirals in 2006.  Due to other committments, we weren't able to go in 2007 but certainly wished we could have returned.  Not to worry, we're off again in September 2008 and can't wait.  I've read on here that George will not be there, anyone know why?  He probably won't remember us as my mate took a bit of a disliking to him when he tried calling him up after a hefty meal to dance about!!  Everything was sorted the next day though.

Me and my cousin kirsty stayed in the admirals in sept 07 for 2 weeks!
Mum n dad aunt n unclw were there aswell but in the upgraded apartments (never saw them)!
Well what can i say this was one of the best times i had in greece i go every year and usually stay in planos bay over the road but had an even better time over at the admirals!
Reps were amazing made us feel very welcome! Had a laugh with Tommy! Entertainment was great george was a great laff!! Am deffinatly returning to tsilivi this year in July as we always seem to go at end of season we want to be there in season this time!

omg. Just got back and im shattered.  Couldnt believe my holiday, George and the bar staff kept us up all hours!!! HooraH!!!! Great hol but shame about weather!!! P.S dont feed the stray cats noodles! (and thats another story!) C u soon George.x

Only had 1 night here Gerti took us for the night out at the Zante maris but we stayed here The room we were given was fantastic and the staff we met was great. Thanks Gerti for a great night Thanks to the bar staff that kept us up till 6.30am what a laugh. To the girl from Hull that lives on Hedon rd If you are ever passing Trinity club on a sunday afternoon please call in and see us we would love to see you. Sorry we never got back for another night but the staff at the admiral argassi kept us at their bar all night too

we stayed in july.had a great time.im so suprised george adams hasnt been snapped up yet by itv.he is the next g*y des oconner.fantastic

i agree with you nick this will be our 3rd time arriving on thursday 11th october and never had a problem staff very frendly rooms clean only problem we had was the ants, entertainment is good but no one forces you to stay in the hotel every nite a holiday is what you make of it thats what say and george hope you are ready for us because we are on our way back hun

I stayed at the admirals last year, i didnt like then at all, the pool is dangerous as you can see by the pictures that Jackie Howden has uploaded, to me the hotel seemed very overcrowded, the floors in my room were absolutely filthy! i would get out of the shower and before i put my shoes back on i would have to rinse my feet as they were literally Black! i think that the entertainment was naff unless you love to sit in all night and sing kareoke. i also was not impressed with the buffet at the hotel.

I loved the admarals and George we had a happy bunch there x x x

I returned from the Admirals Aparthotel on thursday night and all I can say is after reading all the comments on here about the hotel I was dreading it.
I can honestly say My husband and I enjoyed our two weeks at the Admirals. Yes the apartments are basic but they are clean and the linen and towels were changed regular.
You get what you pay for and the brochure states clearly that Admirals Aparthotel is a family hotel which means yes there will be kids at the hotel so if you are a couple who dont like a lot of kids around dont book a family hotel anywhere.
I would go back to the Admirals but out of high season as my kids are up and I have been there and done it
The staff at the hotel are brilliant as where the two reps tommy and maria who always seem to be around the hotel at some point, and what can I say about George
George is brilliant at getting people involved in things and there is more going on than killer pool that one person on here as said, football , volleyball , killer pool , various things going on at night from live acts to quiz nights.
Your holiday is how you make it , we went out  and did  various things sometimes we came back and joined in at the hotel in other words  we did what we wanted to do.

All I will say to anyone reading this , is if you are booked to go to the Admirals enjoy it and have a great holiday

WE DID

Stayed at the Admirals for first  2 wks in Sept 07 rooms were nice.

Maintance was spot on.

Only downside was the fact that our son had clothes stolen from the room and the Staff and Reps did not want to know

Entertainment was rubbish all George said in the two weeks we were there was killer pool nothing else seemed to interest him

Am Very dissapointed with the two Reps that were there.They were shall I say non existant

But on the other hand Gemma from kids world plays with the kids in the pool and always has a laugh with you

I Think a holiday if what you make of it we have been there twice and never had any probs going back in just over 3 weeks u dont have to stay in every nite there is lots to c and do in tsilivi at nite plenty of entertainment so it shouldnt be a problem

was at the admirals 05   best holiday ever entertainment 10 out of 10  will be back 08 me nephew still in bad books stayed up till 6 thanks george     toga night and role reversal night how wasted we were   read   some of the comments did the family from derbyshire ever crack a smile or join in with any of the events kids say they loved pool entertainment ie lilo races polo  

we went to the admirals on the 15th july 2007, overall we thought the admirals were very good, the apartments were nice yet very basic ( could do with a broom). The receptions staff were very good, friendly and always willing to help. The maids were brillaint they were friendly and did an excelent job.

The pools were kept clean and were really nice, and the veiws from the apartment we were in was amazing! Overall very good, and we would not have to think twice from going there again!

went to the admirals in june  24/06/2007 had the best holiday in years an george was brilliant an sylvia was brilliant to would not hesitate to go back next year  my kids loved it to weather was lovely  i the 40s the whole time  rooms were very clean pool was very clean  an maids were lovely  hope to see ya all next year big hello everyone from lorraine shiela jim an keep up the good work

Interesting to see that my comments about the admiral have been removed. My opinion about the place was that it was like butlins abroad. Surely I am entitled to my opinion and more importantly, I thought the purpose of this board was to give people an idea about the place. If I was looking now at the comments about the Admiral it would appear that the place is faultless - clearly misleading.

got back on 8th july  only just had time to get on here Well what can i say it was brilliant GEORGE is absolutely GREAT and a big Hello to SYLVIA as well . Was feeling a bit dubious about going to the admiral but we had a wonderful holiday would definately go there again everyone is great the rooms are very clean the only gripe we had was when we arrived we could not get into our rooms for nearly 3 hours so we had to just sit in the bar until they were ready but apart from that it was brill .The restaurant we used nearly every night was the STAMNES it is great everything we had to eat was lovely Do try the GRANDMOTHERS LAMB , GRANDFATHERS BEEF theYVETSI is brill and also the KLEFTIKA was yummy .please say hello to George for us from JIM, SHEILA and LORRAINE xx

been back from admirals nearly 1 week now, did'nt want to leave great place to stay,  the rooms are ok but the shower in ours was a little small, nothing we could'nt cope with.  all the staff are friendly and willing to help. there is plenty of entertainment nearby and a 15 minute walk will take you to the heart of  the town where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. popeyes is well worth a visit, great staff and fantastic food. fantasy golf is good fun and well thought out.  also the reptile house is rather entertaining as the guide wraps  various snakes around your neck NOT,  but seriously it's an experience.  overall enjoyed it so much booking again early september, just hope the weather stays as is at the mo..

had a gr8 time even though i was ill for most of the time there :( george sound guy done gr8 without mic!

well were back from our stay in the admirals hotel. have to say was very worried after reading dave's messages! however i feel his comments were ha**e.  i will be honest and say that the room was what you would expect from a 2 star greek hotel (quite basic but clean) bathroom could do with upgrading (c205 was room number) aslo the location of c block was very quite and had no noise issues. the pools seem very nice but we used the beach every day so didn't go in them. the reception and bar area was excellent. air con in the reception was nice to walk in to. didn't take advantage of the hotel entertainment as we have a friend that have a bar up the road ( 1st bar on the left after comming out of the hotel and turning left called local bar- oppostie friends bar, tell costa matt and teri recommened you and see what he does) soon be able to have a famouse greek fish bowl cocktails in this bar- or order a vodka mellon now.

have read all comments by Mr David Shute and have to say  he must be perfect in every way. So much so he feels the need to comment on the size of people. According to his comments, he generates the impression that larger people should stay in there rooms so as not too offend people of his elitist attitude.

bloody hell - you really are a sad sad man david shute - bed at 11:00 on holiday - shows what you go on holiday for - and it's not to have fun is it? no - you think that you are above everyone else - well if you want a "classy" holiday  - book into a 5 star and stop winging - just cos everyone else was having fun whilst you were tucking up into bed! I lived in zante for 3 years and worked at the admiral and i know that the hotel scores are very high - for all areas - inc rooms, cleanliness, entertainment etc - all you need to do is ask the hotel or the travel company and they will show you!

stayed at admirals at the end of may.my dad and brother didnt like it too much as they found it really noisy,weve never stayed somewhere like admirals before.i didnt mind it as much as im not fussed i would stay there again if it means me goin back to gorgeous tsilivi again!!lol.they have lots of entertainment there for the kids so its great in that respect although we didnt use the entertainment facilities.two pools with a bar.overall very noisy wasnt the best place ive stayed but cant complain too much!will MAYBE stay there again in future

this is a commet for some people who have asked is george is still there..... well he sure is.. hes had is hair cut now

 first time in zante - not the last.  hotel adminrals great although if you are unlucky enough to get a209 and there abouts make sure you enjoy partying - you are right above the 'entertainment' room which goes on til 2am - if not later - not good if you have an early start. but hey there was only one night that we were in early!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  cheers george great nites!! nice clean hotel - friendly and helpful staff.  just remember to take your 'nappy sacks' to put your toilet paper in otherwise you'll end up with a blocked loo!!!!!  best place to eat - if you like real greek food is manos - a short walk into the town.  fantasy golf a must for both adults and kids - wot a money spinner.  beach fantastic. everyone friendly and welcoming.  enjoyed tsilivi better than zante town.  if you go for a tour round the island - on a boat - ensure you take a hearing aid to listen to the speaker giving history - engine of ferry very loud!!!.  and for all your elvis fans - he does live - he is in zante for the summer entertaining both young and old.  can't beat george and his team thou!! hope gillian is starting to get her foot in the door entertaining the folks too!!!!

Just got back from our 4th year at the Admirals and we had a blinder of a holiday mainly thanks to the company we kept. We met up with friends from last year, Lisa (aka Chigwell), Jenny and Nikki, met loads of new ones, Kim, Jim, Tasha, Holly, Carl, Chris, Richard, James, Don, Wil, Shirley to name but a few. The entertainment and bar staff were excellent again this year , Tara, Jillian, Linzi, Liam, Mick, Antony (We miss you guys so much especially our visits to The Red Lion and Jokers) . We are gonna try and get back in October to see you all !!!!

hi no tv in rooms and u dont pay for sun beds just a mat to lie on but a towel just does as good take some cards or if u have kids some stuff for them to play with i take a gameboy  and u wont notice that there is no tv in the rooms

hi there is showers in them they have fridges but no hairdyers the entertainment is good activites during the day and entertainment is good at nite also hope this helps,it is quite arm day and night the entertainment ends around 1130ish or wat ever time george has had enough wen you get there c if you can get room the other side of the entertainment side if you are worried about noise we stayed there twice and not had a problem hope this helps

  thanks 2 all admirals staff 4 making the holiday worth while n i found the apartments fantasticly clean. The daily entertainment was really good and the childrens entertainment was great bcase it gave the kids somthin 2 do while we were relaxing.

Thats ok Sharon, no need to say sorry, I just wondered who George was thats all as everybody sems to talk about him. I like to read what people think about the hotel as well thats all. It just gets abit boring when everyone writes about him and not the hotel. Im interested in any changes that might have happened since I visited the hotel. Glad you've enjoyed your stays at Admirals. 

Who is he????? who is this George, I guess people go back to see George not Admirals. Give George his own fan club site and then we can continue to read real reviews about Adrimals, this is what people want to read, not how wonderful George is, know this will upset the fans but please its about the hotel not a man called George, after all, who is he????.

Just come back from our 2nd trip this year visiting Lisa (Chigwell) down south. Had an absolute ball, think i've put on a stone from all the alcohol consumed !! Met Lisa and her mate Jenny at the Admirals in May and have kept in touch ever since. Watch out Admirals because were are all coming back in 2007

admirals hotel was fer crap to be honest but the resort was good  for families ,only good bit about the hotel was george lol n  thomas cook reps were very good we might go bach to tsilivi but not the admirals we heard the alexandre beach hotel was good.

Just got back yeaterday and missing it already.  Had a fabulous fortnight myself and my two daughters.  We had a lovely room, the maid swept each day, got fresh linen almost everyday.  It was your normal, basic self catering accommodation, didn't spend enough time in room to care what it was like.  Although the beds were very hard!!!  Facilities were ok, bar drinks and meals not over pricey.  George was an absolute star, the kids had a great time with the entertainment through the day and at night.  Tsilivi isn't the greatest as far as nightlife but I didn't expect it to be.  Spoilt for choice wen it came to restaurants, Stamnes which is two mins from hotel was great for Greek food, Asian Feast did fantastic curries, but only meal we didn't enjoy was the Perivoli.  WaterPark was fun, Smuggler's Cove trip was fantastic, even saw a turtle.  Sunkissed Cruise was ok however the water sports part of the cruise were over priced and deterred most from taking part.  Got the brochure and rounding up a posse to go again next year.

 Just got back from the admirals yesterday.  Plenty of entertainment, lots of laughs.  George is great (thanks George for the beach party Friday night)!!  Follow my leader, leader, leader woooh woooh.  Two Brothers Bar and Alexandra Beach bar great.  Admirals very clean.  Change of towels and sheets nearly every day.  Two nice swimming pools.  Very suitable for families.  Definitely be back next year.  Don't forget to meet us for a drink when you come up to Manchester George.

got back yesterday from tsilivi stayed in admirals the location is fantastic 2 minute walk away from the beach.nightlife was slightly disappointing only a few good places spent most nights in level bar and planet both great places.hotel entertainment was great love george to pieces think he is fantastic and think i would probably stay in admirals again just to see him again even though the rooms are quite disgusting.i went away with a party of 12 people and 3 of the 4 rooms we had we had to upgrade for a cost of 140 euros for 2 weeks you have to pay for air con 10 euro deposit then 5 euros a day and have to have a min of 3 days. the maid service is very poor they change towels and sheets every 3 days and if your lucky they will be clean i advise anybody going to take their own towels you have to ask the maids to clean the floors and bathroom as they just empty the bins if you dont. i would strongly advise that you go on the top cruiser for a tour around the island was one of the best parts of the holiday.

ok so hey alll i am the entertainer who worked in planos aprt(well was). i am back home now coz i have a broken leg   i just want to say hey george, john boy and big dave i miss u loads  and amy shan, ellie, adam and mikey who are the entertainers in planos bay i miss u all very much exsepisialy amy i had some laughs with you! u help me cope to be strong while over there! ok i can help you with anything because i worked there for 3 months and i advise u not to go to planos apts because its rubbish i worked there for 3 months as the entertainer and i can tell u now its crap! it was like slave laboure! i mean i give it up for ange and allenie and the singing chef but the admirl is way more better! and if anyone is thinking about working over there dont ur not inshured, you dont get ur full wagers and they treat you like slaves i am glad that i broke my leg because i am freeeeee. but no its lovly over there the beach is nice the people are lovly and there is one bar that i was never out of the jokers oh yes its was amazing in there! do you remeber the laughs we had there amy? but if u have any questions dont be afraid to ask! my name is kirsty by the way. i hope you have a lovly time and if anyone is going soon tell john boy, george, amy, ellie,adam and mikey i said iya and that i miss them loads!!!

We have found the same problem too - a huge increase in next years holiday prices.I queried this with Thomas cook, apparantly it is an increase in aviation fuel. We are going to the admirals next week and it has cost us just over £1100 for 2 adults and 2 kids. But the same holiday in May next year is an extra £500, and that isn't even school half term. Big increase i think. Hope you get something not too expensive
