Went to the savvas sept 2011.... I am Not really fussy but it's built on A farm the staff were horrible and I have never seen a hotel room like it I had screws for wardrobe handles the room was filthy and full of mould and my tap in the bathroom hadn't seen a Cloth since the hotel was built we did complain and they sent the cleaner again but she did Nothing I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THE SAVVAS AGAIN!!! Beware of the goats!

Hey Guys off to Zante 9th-16th September but just read the reviews about people being robbed/ rooms dirty/ them taking your passport and if you get anything even a tiny bit dirty they make you pay for it.. and now im really worried Any advice????

staying at the savvas, just got back from a weekend in zante and loved it!

the hotels are nice out there just basic all the bad reviews are bollocks though everything is clean and every single person out there is friendly!

Geordie Boys Will be returning to Zante on 14th August for another week. Cannot Wait.....Only got back last week and we loved it. Roll on August!!!

I m going to the Savvas on thursday 16th  for a week with my boyfriend, I'v also heard some mixed comments about it but the last one i heard was its basic cheap but cheerful   The staff are ament to be really nice and its a good location with a supermarket just outside :)

I went to Lagaanas and stayed at the Savvas in Sept 09 it were excellent. Rooms were clean, Water slide, Staff were very polite and very entertaining, I am certainly Looking forward to going back. . . . . . . . .

I am just back from the Savvas.. The apartments were nice and clean.. I dont know why they are getting any bad comments. The bar staff are great ( and hot) haha and the pool is always clean.

The savvas is right at the top of the strip. Best place to start your night. Get yourself into Relax bar for cocktails and a sing song. Then head off down the strip, stopping at as many watering holes as possible to get absolutley smashed  Go to rescue, cocktails and dreams and cherry bay!

we went to zante in may 2008, three girls from liverpool, and it was my best holiday yet! savvas apartments are great to stay in coz that way u can start off in the cheaper end of the strip..working up to the more expensive end (cherry bay, wakabout.. etc)

lol shud be entertaining then!! cant wait, were u flying from? 

Its rele good, stayed here last year n our room was so clean.

just got back from savvas, 2 weeks. dont know what everyone is moaning about, theres f**k all wrong with it. the rooms are basic, just beds bathroom & fridge but thats all you need. reps are legends, jason is off his head. make sure you hit cherry bay at the end of the night, a right laugh in there

Hiya. Just googled laganas 2008 on google and found this. Me and my friend are staying in kalamaki (Becuase we like the relexed day life) but will be going into laganas on the night. Bin into laganas a couple of times but this is the first time properly on our own. Does anyone recommend anywhere? Loved laganas last time however we only went to cocktails and dreams and recsue. What's cherry bay like? Is it worth a visit? Is anyone going around the 7th aug till the 21st cos where going around then. WB love soph and lou xxx

savvas was brilliant basic rooms but your there to have a laugh not stop in your rooms!!

Just come back from a week of Hell at the Savvas Apartment in Laganas.  If you want a good holiday DO NOT stay here, it truly is a dump. We had to be moved 3 times as the rooms were disgusting, poo in bed, doors handing off, condoms everywhere, bathroom was filthy, never any hot water, kitchen doors hanging off and so dirty, I could go on but I think you get the picture.....the apartments are 18-30 and they have totally trashed the place.  The noise is continually riots till 7am everynight.  The pool & pool area was NEVER cleaned, it had scum marks around it, beer cans & rubbish everywhere.   A TOTAL DUMP.

We stayed in the Savvas in July, had an amazing time, nice clean appartments and the people are lovely.  The appartments are central to everything and the staff are great!

Would definately go back next year!

omg!!! i got to the savvas last week and got in my appartment n thought wat a s**t hole!! but trust me it grows on you! plus we had on of the smallest rooms! its actually really nice and the bar staff are amazing! one of our mates did get kicked out but he was still allowed to use the pool and stuff with his mates!! plus, girls, you will have the fittest barman ever!! (but his girlfriend works out there!!)clark- a.k.a superman! he always has his top off with the nicest body and designer underwear!! make sure you throw an icecube at him and say thats from lisa! its not as bad as ppl are making out! its nice and you are close to all the things you need!! can u take me back???

Racheal, I just got back yesterday. It is spot on. The only complaints I could make is the lack of aircon, the fact the slide gives you a few friction burns as its not always on and the constant playing of that stupid umbrella song. Only other complaint would be the owner is a bit moody by the fact he doesnt speak and looks like lou carpenter from neighbours.

Say hi to dena and Clark behind the hotel bar for me, 2 of the nicest people you could meet, espicially Clark and if he offers you his home made drink called snifter id recomend it....honestly

Hi Mike, Yeah  they have kettles in the rooms..but they only seem to have UHT milk so your brew won't taste the same. I find a nice can of coke always sorts me out when I am a bit delicate!

Hi, As far as I am aware it isn't 18 - 30 but it may have changed since last season. The kitchens have a couple of pans, a 2 ring hob, a fridge and that is about it. I'm not sure if you get a toaster...I can't remember. It's so cheap to eat out so I never bother with the kitchen!

Hey Sarah. Savvas is literally a 5 minute walk 2 the start of the strip. Its a fab place 2 stay-i stayed there 2 years ago and loved every minute!!! Enjoy ur holiday!

just a note to say i took my complaint up with lidra i was refunded money back 4 my holiday pluss £100 EACH AS A GOOD WILL GESSGER IF THERES NOTHING WRONG WHY WOULD THAY DO THIS?

I am suprised to read some of the negative comments for Savvas, as I worked as the Libra Rep for this accommodation in 2005.  During the 7 months I was there, we had no complaints of illness or about the staff there.  The only people who were asked to leave the accommodation were those who caused damage or problems with other guests - the staff at Savvas are very laid back and want to make sure everyone has a fantastic holiday, so I don't believe that they would ask anyone to leave without good reason.

I stayed at the Savvas in June 2005 and i really cant understand y so many people have so many bad things 2 say about the place. Yeah its basic but its only a place 2 sleep off the beer at the end of a mad nite. Me and my friend had no problems when we stayed there-the maids were always in and out of the rooms and the pool seemed pretty clean 2me. The slide was good fun 2. Id have happily stayed there again last year but it wasnt available when we booked. I did have a few problems with the mozzies but Dena and the reps couldnt do enough to help. Every1 i saw there when i went 2 visit Dena last summer looked pretty well 2 me. I know its not nice bein ill on holiday but i seriously dont think it was all the Savvas' fault. Denas the maddest person i think ive ever met on a holiday - i love her 2 bits!! Savvas def gonna b my first port of call when i arrive in July!!!! So dont worry if uve booked Savvas 4 this summer-im sure theyve sorted any problems they mite have had. Ur in 4 a wicked holiday-Laganas is crazy!!! So head out there and enjoy!!!!! Yammas!!!!!
