was at christinas in july, we loved it.  thought all the family were really friendly.  The apartments were basic, but really clean and did the job! Watch out for mama and her water pistol though! Met some great folk that week, if any of you read this send us an e-mail.

I was there in mid September, Christina ,mamma and family were very friendly and helpful, room was spotless clean and tidy, cleaned every day. I did not spend a great deal of money in the bar neither. As for the people moaning about noise from the bar and the cockerel, get a life! As for the hill down to the main road, well ,i am 50 years old and not a particularly healthy specimen, i got up and down no problem .

PS :
can anybody give me an update on the kittens behind the block facing the pool?  !!!

Just got back from greece yesterday, had an amazing time! would definitley go back, made some nice friends and christina and her family were very nice. Only downfall was putting toilet paper in the bin!  Theres a brilliant bar called the red lion in the town and it was fantastic, mainly because we got free drinks on most nights and were allowed to dance on the bar! Was very sad to go!

Please help!! (Sunday, August 20, 2006)

Christina Apartments are not very far from Benikos at all about a two minute walk. It is just down past Tom and Johns on the first right. Easy enough to find your way from there. We have stayed there for the last 3 years in July and October. And we like it. Is it one of the villas or one of the apartments that you are staying in? We re going to be there agiain from October 22nd till the 29th !!  Amy xx

What can I say about Christina Apartments ????... had a brill time !!.. met some fantastic people (Matt & Helen, Pete, Kat, Tyrone , Jo, the lads from Bolton and their sister, Rob,Jake & missus - loads more too.. Greek night was a laugh; ended up with 17 of us fully clothed in the pool (Christina & Mama were not happy). The only gripes I have is that there wasn't enough bog roll in the room and that every 3 hours the bleedin cockerel over the road from the petrol station kept squarking... we did in fact try to strangle the damn thing one night - woke mama up and she didn't speak to us for a couple of days.
In all the apartments were great, staff were good people and the facilities were good too.
Will probably go back next year - if my girlfriend lets me !

Barry M

i was there with my mum n sister, had a great time, the rooms wher big and very clean.I met a lot of friends which i still keep in touch with. I wouldn't go back though.Christina would only tlk to u if u gave them a tip which is unacceptable.the town was good.Go to ENIGMA on a sat night.its a skool night its absulutly brilliant.

After reading the reviews before we visited Christina apartments we were curious as to which treatment we were to recieve from Christina and her family. Mama, a small happy chappy up all hours and even carried our heavy cases up the stairs is in need of a well earned rest, bless her cottons, whilst Christina needs to smile a bit and say please and thank-you (or in greek at least).

We were also thinking of funding Christinas trip to the hairdressers as she clearly needs to get her roots done!

Yeh they do seem money oriantated asking us several times for money for the Greek night despite telling them we couldnt make it as we had a bar crawl, i mean drinking games Vs greek dancing....... no contest!
But despite that, they were always around to serve my fella at 6 in the morning!

To those who worry about distance from town, yeh it is a 10min walk to the bars and restaurants but i got used to it and its one straight road. Its always nice to take in the fresh air....and clear up your hangover the next morning!

Thanks Russ

That's very helpfull. I know the main road and I remember the filling station.

The Christina is located on the main Rd in Tsilivi, The opposite end to Popeyes and all the "John Smith Bitter" brigade bars.

It it about 5 minutes past the Med & Jupiter Hotel.
The road is not on a hil, it is just when you get to the apartements you have a steep hill for the last 20-30 metres or so.

There is a filling staion just outside the apartments at the bottom of the hill.

Gwilym J

Can anybody tell me where the Christina Appartments are located in Tsilivi?

Comments indicate they are out of town up a hill.

Is this by the Zante Palace, the Park Hotel, the Maritime Museum or the Alexandra Hotel?

I know Tsilivi quite well but can't get specific information.

Very grateful for information.

Russ

......and another thing, if your room gets too hot, then purchase air conditioning from the reception, it's only a few pounds per day.

I wouldn't say the beds were cheap, we found them extremely comfortable and clean, the shower was a bit of an experience, and took me back to Greece when I first went 20 years ago, but it is part of the experience.

If you want a sterile holiday and to be molly-coddled try another hotel, perhaps another country! but if you want to experience Greece, then come here, no plastic Iberian waiters here, what you see is what you get.

The hill is a bit of a killer though,

I cannot see what all the fuss is about or where all the negative comments have come from regarding Christina's.

The apartments were clean and the bedrooms were exceptionally large, the eating/food area was limited, but if you want to experience Greece, this is what you get.

The pool area was great and will appeal to all, couples, young and old and families.

The prices were V/Good and there was a good choice of food for breakfast and lunch, and drinks were not expensive 2Euro for a bottle of Mythos, the staff work really hard and do not seem to stop. We found Christina and all the rest friendly and approachable.

The music was loud but not too loud, and only went on late on one occasion, and that was the Greek night

All you people who have said she was ignorant and un-friendly, well I guess you are the type of people who expect people from abroad to fall over you and tell you how great you are and how much they appreciate you choosing their Hotel/Bar/Restaurant. Well if this is the case then you won't get it here, perhaps if you took the time to talk to her, she may have been friendly to you. We certainly had no problems.

One thing though, somebody has posted that they had a problem borrowing salt from the bar. One day when wee were in the bar, somebody "borrowed" the salt and pepper. You would have thought someone had stolen the days takings, it was like the great salt and pepper heist, I am sure they even went around the pool asking people who had just eaten in there.

But on a serious note, it was excellent, the rooms were clean, but basic, the pool and bar are great, and please don't be put off by the negative comments, it was really good there.

If we ever go back to Tsilivi, we would certainly go back to Christina's.

Dave S

Hi Ian!! Just got back on Sunday as well from Christina Apartments. I thought it was great and found Christina to be very friendly. Met some great people and had a great laugh!!

Ian C

Came back from Christina Studio's on Sunday had a great time! Found Christina and all her family friendly and easy to get along with! There isn't much in the rooms, very basic, but at the end of the day it was only somewhere to lay your head! Yes some nights the bar was loud and noisy but for god sake your on holiday, and out to enjoy your self and relax! Christina and all family do all they can to help and sort any problems out...Christina only has 3 hours sleep a day!! We met some great people here, and would definatly go back! Greek night is different but a laugh

Terry P

Just come back from the Christina Apartments, and he's what we (my girlfriend and I, late 20's) thought of the accomodation and resort.  Firstly the Apartment complex is quite nice, has a fantastic pool (one of the best we noticed in Tsivili walking around and although pretty basic the room was ok (take a bottle opener just in case!) and cleaned pretty much daily.  On that side, as much as the cleaners were good in cleaning most days they tend to come fairly early (well, 10am-ish we is early if you've been out late or had problems sleeping*) and never knocked!  Most days we were clambering around for clothes whilst they would unlock the door!  A knock would be nice!  The complex is on a bit of a fairly steep hill, for the last 100 yards or so - there are alternative ways back to the rooms with stairs which you tend to discover looking around but the hill to the rooms is a nightmare, it is VERY steep especially in the hot sunshine.  I wouldnt recommend the complex to anyone in a wheelchair or with breathing problems etc. It is a little out of town, prob about 10 mins walk to the beach and town but not too bad - it's not a bad little walk anyway. *when I say "problems sleeping" I dont mean so much the heat, cheap mattresses etc but some nights the music which is played through big speakers all day is going on into the night.  I read that it is meant to stop at midnight, but a lot of nights it carried on for another couple of hours ... which might not have been so bad but the volumes gets stupid, and turned up from the daytime.  After a long day, hearing "Summer of 69" or Reggae Hits 1996 at full blast just under your balcony is not good!  You can close the blacony doors to help keep the sound down, but then it gets really hot and stuffy.  When there is only 2 old mean at the pool bar, Im sure they dont want that music blastring their eardrums, keeping the rest of the complex awake!  Not so bad for us, but if you have kids it will be difficult getting them to sleep.  We put in comments about this to Manos, so maybe they will ask them to turn it down a bit.  Christina veryt nice to us, even though we spend very little at the bar (expensive) but did hear from our neighbour that she can be funny it you dont spend much with her.  Tsilivi itself it fantastic, nice bars and restauransts and everyone very friendly.  Places I would recommend are Acropolis Restaurant (lovely food, and the friendliest waiters I've met - went there 3 times and they gave us free drinks everytime and a desert etc also), Koukos for the Greek Night (they have half the restaurantr dancing in congo style around the restaurantr and great atmosphere).  Both these places are down the McDonalds end of town.  Two Brothers Bar is great fun, try their cocktails - was given free cocktail there too!  I would def go on the Shipwreck Boat Trip if for nothing more than to see the colour of the sea in the cove where the boat is.  The turtle trip is good too - but would recommend a glass bottom boat for this, as you wont see much otherwise as they tend to stay underwater a lot - ytou can book both trips locally for around 30 Euros and are def worth it if you have time.  In summary, Tsilivi a great place with great people .... Christina Apts are ok, but a little out the way.  Would go back to the resort but will prob stay somewhere a little nearer the town/beach.

Emma K

hi  every year i go to christinas me and my family, and my opinion is i think it is really good there her family makes you welcome and she treats you like she has known you forever, personally iam not to bothered about accomodation as long as it is clean and there is beds because lets face it you are only there to put your head down, your not in your accomodation all the time, me and my family are always out and about doing excersions and things like that we very rarely ever stay in the accomodation only when we go back to change in the evening and when we go to bed in the evening, but i think the whole resort is very satisisfactory.
I think you will have a very pleasent stay when you arrive on your holiday and i hope you enjoy every moment

Me and my 3 best friends (all aged 18) went to the Christina Apartments in July 2005, had a wicked time, was a very chilled out holiday, just what we needed after our A Levels. Ended up going out on the first night for a quick bite to eat and got back at half 3 in the morning! Not much choice for nightlife but what is there is good and you get to know people v quickly! We didn't spend massive amounts at the pool bar (few lollies and cocktails) but nothing other than that. However contrary to what has been written on here just because we didn't spend lots of money doesn't mean we were ignored or that Christina was rude to us. Greek night was quite a good laugh and food was good, boat was excellent (although food was expensive) so definitely do that but the bar crawl into Laganas was a bit of a let down, as we were promised dinner (few wilted sandwiches) and we had to make our own way there. Also it was full of chavs, whereas our village was just that bit nicer! Would def go back, maybe with a boyfriend this time as its a good place to stay for that type of holiday. Oh and the rooms were spotless (considering we booked 5 days before we went and it cost £200 including flights and transfers!), couldn't have been nicer!

Anybody going DO NOT WORRY, the apartments are at the edge of the town but only 10 mins walk away from a great beach and all the pubs and shops. the family are great (they actually bought us gifts to say goodbye when we were leaving) the hill is not a problem at all, infact it makes a nice walk at night when walking back from the town. yes the acomodation is a bit basic but it is greece plus you will be spending most of your time at the bar, beach, pool or somewhere else in the island. music at the pool bar stops at 12 although you cannot predict what kind of guests will be in the room next door. we pesonally had no problem. if you do encounter a problem with noise im sure chistina, sula, or speros would be more than happy to deal with it. it would be advantageous to learn a couple of words in greek because they do apreciate that. avoid the trip to athens bus journey is about 8 hours and the hotel at the other end is not nice. i would not hesitate going back to greece or chistina apartments. if you havent booked yet try and make it just before the school holidays start to avoid any idiots. and if you are going would you please remember and tell chistina clarke and greer miss greece and everyone there. ps we are a young couple in our mid 20's who went for a nice relaxing holiday and we got exactly that, the greek night is an exelent way to meet the other guests old and young they were all great

Carley N

we went in  august we didnt know the accomodation we were getting till we got to tsilivi and couldnt of asked for anything better the room we was in was lovely spacious with a great balcony with loads of  room  over looking the pool  the only thing i would suggest is a fly spray for all the little flys in the bar pool area.   but we loved it and didnt want to go home, we had no problem at all with christina and her family  we would definitly go back to christinas on our next visit to greece

Carol H

We have just come back from a brilliant holiday in Tsivili staying at the Christina apartments, must admit we were a bit worried after reading some of the comments, but can assure you that the majority of it was not true, (in our opinion) Christina & Mama were great company and no we did not spend every minute and all our money at the pool bar. Cannot fault the accommodation, okay it was basic but it is Greece. Music was turned off at midnight. Greek night was terrific, but think was probaby more to do with the great people that were staying there at the same time.Did get a bit fed up of the hill, especially after a few drinks late at night. Tsilivi was lovely can throughly recommend Giorgios for food, it was excellent. Would definitely go back to Tsilivi and Christina apartments.

Vicky

Tsilivi was ace! absolutely brilliant, everyone was so friendly, even people from the uk, which was unusual for everyone to be so kind, as we all get stressed from time to time with our jobs etc, but.. saying all that nice stuff, the staff at Christina studios were the most arrogant people i've ever met. I really think that they hated me and my boyfriends guts, they didn't really speak to us at all, we spent money in the pool bar, a few drinks here and there around the pool, snacks and things as the pool bar wasn't the most exciting place to be and we'd rather eat somewhere else but still, they just didn't acknowledge we were alive i don't think. Christina and her mum seemed to warm to some other people staying there but not to us, her mum and a young girl who also worked there couldn't even speak English so they were no help as they just looked on with blank expressions. Holiday rep didn't really talk to us, I think maybe that was due to the fact we didn't go on the drinking night to laganas with her. Other than that, Tsilivi is a beautiful place to stay, would deffinately go again. Try Eryls restaurant as he's absolutely ace, him and his family make you feel welcome, also a bar called utopia. Overall, the rooms were clean, cleaners came every day, bedding got changed twice in the week we were there, hills not too steep, unless you're in rooms behind the pool bar, pools nice and clean and theirs plenty of sunbeds round it. Nice place, Crap staff. Greek night sucked, don't waste 13 euros.

Gary T

We arrived on the 28th of August and had read the negative feedback on this site. So was expecting the worst. The rooms were clean and tidy and were cleaned every day. But it was clear that you were made more welcome if you spent loads of money in the pool bar. She pushed the safe deposit box on you but as the door was double locked and the balcony had 2 doors we didn't bother. The greek night was ok but as we went out every evening we didn't see much of her. It is a nice quiet area of Tsilivi and not to far to walk into the centre. I can't complain about anything at the apartments because it was very clean and tidy. Just don't be intimidated by her and you will have a nice time.

Jan J

All I can say is watch your cards! Also check bank statements when you get home.  I found one of my cards missing in the second week of the holiday, I rang my bank but no transactions had taken place so I assumed I had left it at home. Next day I found the card and thought I hadn't looked hard enough.

When the bank statement arrived it showed someone had "borrowed" the card and spent over £200 on it, but had cleverly spent it in small amounts so that the bank wouldn't query it. I will leave it to you to decide who would have had access to the room twice, once to take it and once to return it!
The bank have refunded the money but I wonder how many other people this has happened to. Kosmar have refused to take any action because I didn't report it to a rep in Zante. Impossible considering the circumstances! Let me know if anyone else has had the same thing happen.

Neil T

Stay in Tsilivi, but please do not give your money to Christina et al!

Neil T

Stay anywhere but here!

G B

The reception is nice and the rooms arn't too bad, but the staff are extremely rude and unfriendly and make absolutley no effort unless you spend loads of money in the pool bar. The pool bar is dead with little atmosphere at all. It took us three days to get a safety deposit box. we were only staying there because the hotel we were supposed to be staying in was overbooked when we arrived. Certainly wouldn't stay there again!

Sharon L

We stayed 26/6 to 10/7 and for the first week she was fine, then she accused us of eating and not paying which was not true.

My first reaction was 'everything is wrong on just zante she is not like that at all'

I would like to apologise and I take it all back.

If you spend loads of money in the pool bar Christina and Mama will treat you like one of the family, stop going in and you will be ignored, complain about anything and you will be ignored.

Rep told us that they had sky sports and you could watch it when ever you wanted, we wanted to watch the Lions tour, when we asked we where told no - Christina and Mama are in bed they are not allowed to be disturbed??!!

Hence to say we went down the Ark, spent all day in there and had a better laugh than we would have been allowed to at Christina.

If you want cheap accomodation this is okay, I have stayed on Zante for 6 years but this was the first time in Tsiliv, it is very basic, (I know it's just a bed for the night) furniture is very old and dated (we where in the old block not new block overlooking pool), and staff not too bad if you don't get Christina or her Mama on a PMT day  - must say the maids where fantastic and came everyday.

It was okay but when I return to Tsilivi next year I won't be staying here, I know Greek accomodation is basic but this was a bit time-warpish.

Charlotte M

Just got back from Zante, had a brilliant holiday and everything was great. We were a bit apprehensive about staying at The Christina Studios because of all the reviews on this website however, we were pleasently surprised upon our arrival to see christina's extremely friendly and welcoming happy face! Everything people had said about her and the other girls being miserbale and hostile was completely un true. we had a really good time. the pool is excellent, the rooms are basic but what else do you need? Greek night at the apartments was excellent, alot of fun and well worth it! People who moaned about the hill must be extremely lazy because its nothing at all! its in a good location, not too far away but far enough out of town to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle of tsilivi! Well worth a visit, we will definately be going again next year and staying at the Christina!

Tara J

Just got back last week from a weeks stay at the infamous Christina apartments. Having read all the comments before going, we felt fairly well briefed. The hill was really no hassle, unless you happen to be incredibly unfit, fat or lazy!! HOWEVER all comments about Christina being horribly grumpy UNLESS you were spending shedloads in her bar are completely true. She was all over people spending money like a sickly rash, but because we only had one thing to eat (which was truly disgusting) she blatently ignored us for the rest of our stay. She (wrongly) accused us of eating & not paying for a meal we didnt even have. She bollocked us for taking A glass back to the room and generally made us feel extremely unwelcome, hence we spent very little time there. Rooms were ok but very basic-furniture was falling to bits & had sen better days. Make sure you get an upstairs room as the view from ground floor rooms is of bushes, and the balconies are ludicrously close together - u cannot have a conversation without the whole row hearing every word!

Manos Grill in Tsilivi has fantastic food & service. Zante town is a complete rip off - v expensive & we had a shocking meal which we had to sent back it was so bad, very expensive drinks too.
Be prepared for an appalling wait in the baking sun at the airport- we were queued up like lambs to the slaughter in bus shelters ( should improve as new terminal is in process of being built). All in all not a bad holiday but would NEVER stay at Christina's again - she needs some MEN helping to run it to dilute her obvious hormone problems!!!

Jacqui C

Forgot to change the ratings.... Not all average!

Jacqui C

Me and two friends stayed at Christinas in early June 2005.  We were a bit apprehensive because of comments we had read on this website so thought we ought to add our twopenneth on our return!

Having heard what an awful purse lipped cowbag Christina could be we were a bit frightened of her, but she was fine.  Mama was alright too, but didn't speak much English and had a habit of getting orders mixed up. We did get the impression that you would be more popular the more money you spent in their bar.   The accommodation was as you usually find in Greece - basic but adequate.  It was very clean and the maid service was excellent.   The pool and pool bar were lovely.  As for prices, they were just the same as in the resort, though whether Christina puts the prices up in high season we don't know.  A large Mythos was 2 Euros, Greek salad 4 Euros, milkshake 3.5 Euros – hardly expensive.  Location – 5/10 mins from the resort and a 10/15 minute walk from the beach. It is up a bit of a hill but once you have lugged your cases up it's not too bad.  Wouldn't recommend to the elderly or infirm though.  The pool bar did blare music out but not usually past midnight.  I'm afraid Shania Twain did feature, but more often we heard Billy Ray Cyrus and his Achy Breaky Heart!

Tsilivi is nice, a bit sprawling and there are lots of restaurants advertising "Belly Buster Breakfasts".  When in Greece eat the Greek food I say.

Anyway we had a nice week and it was nothing as bad as we expected after reading all the adverse comments.  Have a nice time!

Jean

I stayed at Christina studios last August.Staff very helpfull, rooms basic but very clean

Rooms slightly elevated but anice quiet area.Found a nice bar just a 2min walk,i am

greek night was the best night, everyone was lovly and never said one bad comment. made friends with christina n mama straight away, n they were lovly n kind to everyone in the apartments when we were there. saw whole of christinas family such as:spyros here brother n demitrie here cusion who we met on greek night which was a blast with all the greek dancing and the fire we even got up on the tables to be part of the entertainment dancing with the dancers which after that happened every night. we even met a couple that had been there seven times because they loved it so much. if u go to the beach , which is only 10 mins away, we recomend you go on the water sports especially the ringos!!!
go on a boat trip around the island because it brilliant and go to the water park.
hopefully were going back again this year!!!!

Yvonne R

CAN I JUST HAD, THERE ARE AT LEAST THREE BLOCKS OF APARTMENTS AT CHRISTINAS SO NOT EVERY VISITOR WILL HAVE NOISE FROM THE POOL BAR. WE WERE SITUATED JUST ABOVE THE POOL BAR. SOME VISITORS WILL ONLY HAVE THE DRIVE TO WALK UP.

Yvonne R

MY HUSBAND AND I HAD TWO WEEKS AT CHRISTINAS THIS LAST SEPTEMBER. WE HAD BEEN HERE BEFORE ABOUT THREE YEARS AGO AND SO WE KNEW MORE OR LESS WHAT WE WERE GETTING. YOU HAVE A FAIRLY STEEP DRIVE TO WALK UP DAILY AND SOME HAVE A FURTHER SLOPE AND POSSIBLY SOME STEPS TO WALK UP SO IF YOU DONT DO WALKING THIS IS WORTH CONSIDERING BUT YOU CAN GET A CAR UP. THE APARTMENT WAS CLEAN AT ALL TIMES AS THE CLEANER WORKS VERY HARD AND THE ROOM WAS BASIC BUT OK. THE POOL AND BAR AREAS WERE ALWAYS NICE AND CLEAN. CHRISTINA AND HER MOTHER WERE PRETTY FOWL UNLESS YOU WERE SPENDING MONEY AT THEIR BAR. WHEN WE WERE ON OUR BALCONY CHILLING OUT WE WERE KEPT ENTERTINED BY THE NONE STOP MUSIC BLASTING OUT FROM EARLY MORNING UNTIL LATE AT NIGHT EVEN WHEN THE POOL BAR WAS EMPTY. YOU CAN STILL HEAR IT WHEN INSIDE WITH THE DOOR CLOSED. SO IF YOU WANT AN AFTERNOON SNOOZE OR AN EARLY NIGHT BEWARE. THE RESORT OF TSILIVI WILL SUIT MOST TASTES WITH A GOOD CHOICE OF BARS AND RESTORANTS WITHIN EASY WALKING DISTANCE. THE REST OF ZANTE HAS SOME LOVELY SCENIC VIEWS AND PLACES TO VISIT.

Kev N

What can we say other than it can only have got better. You dont want to know!
Yes Christina you let us down big time.

Mary A

Just arrived back from 2 weeks staying at Christinas Stds in Tsilivi. We were worried about some of the comments we had read on the internet but when we arrived we felt it was not as bad as we thought. We stayed in 36 which meant we didn't have too much of a hill to climb (i have asthma and I coped ok), we thought our room was very nice, very clean and was cleaned daily. The walk into Tsilivi centre was about 10 to 15 mins but it was a nice stroll and the nearest beach (Bouka) is about 5 mins walk. However, our main problem was the constant, loud, blaring music and rowdy talking and singing, shouting from the bar which was right outside our room. This continued every night of our 2 week stay at least until 1.30 a.m. and on one occasion, when a particularly rowdy party arrived, they were singing and shouting at the top of their voices until 4.30 a.m. - did Christina make any effort to keep them quiet - of course not because they were spending lots of money at her bar. Christina and her Mother were pretty miserable, did not make much of an effort to be friendly not unless you were in their clique and spending money at their bar. Overall, we enjoyed our hols but would never stay at the Christina Studios again.

Andy .

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two weeks in August '04. We've been to other Greek Islands before, so knew accomodation was basic and these apartments were quite nice as they go. Very spacious, reasonably clean, basic but nice.

What I will say, however is that the people on this page who say 'the hill isn't that bad' are probably the guests that were priveleged enough to be allocated one of the apartments built at a more appropriate altitude.

Ours, unfortunately was at the top of a rather large hill which the majority of guests would never have to endure. The people saying it isn't that bad, are, I think referring to the much more gentle ramp up to the main apartment area and pool...this is only the beginning.

...Another thing, Cristina REALLY IS a grumbling, ignorant, Pursed lipped, hag who we had the fortune of only seeing a few times, but she always had the same old sour face on and something new to moan about. At first we thought that she had taken a dislike to us in particular, as it turned out other guests confirmed that she was in fact an evil moaning grotbag who incidentally speaks no english whatsoever. The majority of communication between her and guests involves her swinging her arms around whilst ranting in Greek and then the guest concerned sticking their fingers up at her.Bliss.

The island is fantastic, we had a brilliant time out and about exploring the coast in a hire car, which i would recommend. Tsilivi is nice enough, but you have to go further afield to get the best out of Zante. Everyone is friendly and most things are fairly cheap.

Would definately go back...but as far away from cristina as possible: )

More n more things i think bout when iv just completed a comment, do make sure your up at 8:30 to get a sun lounger otherwise you wont get one, people put there towels down then bugger off to the beach or around town and your sat in the shade all day, not fair. but everything else good.

All so good saw terrys chocolate orange

Was such a lovely place, lovely people, but we think christina should learn a bit more english, but she is brill all the hours she works and is still lively as ever, appartments basic but that didnt matter to us we was hardly ever in it, pool & pool area/bar lovely and clean, location not far from beach or the town, some lovely restaurants and things out there, i would say the med grill is the best one we went in it was lovely not to over priced and the staff real friendly n kind they are brill, wouldnt go onrobinson crusue again wasnt what it was made out to be, didnt see any turtles at all the crew said we didnt have time but we payed for it so we sould of got what we payed for, the K.I.S.S was good, well i think they depend on who you travel with, greek night at christina not brill its just the bar staff danceing and trying to get everyone else up, but i suppose its what you make it or what you like, met some real lovely people out there they make you feel really welcome, would deff go back next year with out little girl its such a lovely place for familys and couples, the town its lively but not to noisy very relaxing, well if your planning on going to the christina's appartments i hope you have as much of a good relaxing time than we did, its so so lovely everything about it, well apart from just 1 thing, at night the bar sometimes gets a bit to loud depending on which part you get put in, i would never go with kosmars boat trips or anything again if you have a complaint they just shug you off, (nothing we can do) . just like to say hi to a very nice couple incase they read these reports, hi to julia & martin from dundee scotland, was brill meeting you hope you email us soon. we have just returned from chhristina studios and like a lot of people were very worried after some of the comments. We were right at the top of the hill so it was quite a walk but on arrival our cases were driven up. The studios were enormous, clean and bug free. Never even got a mossiie bite- doors fitted with screens and shutters. Kitchen was basic but why do you want to cook. We just bought cereal to have for breakfast then went out. Bouka beach is the closest about 10mins away and that is quiet and pleasant. We enjoyed Manos grill and Tsilivi taverna both good greek food. Romeo and Juliets is excellent pizza. Look for the bakery before the mini golf it has beautiful pastries as well as a fresh ice cream cabinet with mini magnums. Mini golf is great at night when its cool. Hire a jeep and see the rest of the island there are some fantastic views. Go to Keri lighthouse, and the lagoons. Stop at the Balony hotel for ice cream on the way back into Tsilivi, great views. We were very happy with Christina and family, one thing is for sure they don't suffer fools gladly and they have obviously seen plenty of those!

Vic W

Stayed there June/July for 2 weeks, most of the problems we saw were caused by the guests, one prat ruined the bar till by throwing water about, Christinas boy-friend bought him a drink to show that there were no hard feelings. The studios are basic but clean, five minutes walk from town and ten from buka beach, the Greek night is 'interesting'

Mel P

Having recently returned from the Christina Studios i have to say i dont know what all the fuss is about! the rooms are basic but spotless they are cleaned every day and new towels every other day, they are family run studios and everyone is so friendly and make a real effort to make you feel welcome. 10 of us went on this holiday and we all really enjoyed it, the studios are in a nice quiet location but within easy reach of everything you could need. the pool area was lovely and clean, really well looked after. We never smelt any fumes from the near by petrol station and this did not bother us at all.

The beach at Tsilivi is lovley, great for children as you can walk out in to the sea for ages and it only goes up to your waist!!

Places i would recomend to eat would be: Manos grill - excellent food.
Popeye's - this is good if you want english food, but it is very nice.
and my personal favourite The Olive Tree - this does traditional greek food and is very very good!

Being a travel agent myself i have to say i found these studios very good and would love to go back, the only thing i could complain about is the kosmar reps i found their customer service quite poor and not what i would expect from them especially being quite early on the season we went!

Any questions then please e-mail me foxy_mel_xx@yahoo.com

Location was fine as it was quiet
Music/TV in Pool bar far too loud in the evening - could hear every word when I wanted to sleep.
Only 1 toilet roll for 2 weeks!
Big ant problem which staff tried to deal with but I had to get my own spray in the town once the ants had taken over the spare bed!
Rooms not cleaned everyday - one day they didn't even come in for the bins!
Linen for cot forgotten one day and I was told at 6pm it was too late - baby would have to wait for a sheet until tomorrow - good job I took my own! And the cot cost extra!

I've seen much better S/C accommodation at cheaper prices.

Jo S

Ten of us, of all ages have just spent a week at Christina Apartments and we had a good time. The apartments are basic but cleaned daily. We were in the older apartments and they were fine. Christina and her mother Sula showed me the new completed apartments and they are lovely. Whatever we wanted from the staff was never too much trouble and the whole family put themselves out to ensure we had a great time. Food, drink and conversation were available any time day or night. It's only 5 mins walk into Tsilivi and the beach and that's great 'cos you don't have the bars booming out all night but you can be into the resort really quickly. The beach bars are great. Parasols and tables and waited service all day long. Check out the fun at Tsilivi water sports, we tried them all!
Most accomodation in Greece can be basic but always clean and the Greeks were fab. Christina's pool and pool bar were always quiet and beautifully cared for, but be careful of Sula's tortoise which is often resident in the bar! If you go you will have great fun, and Christina and her family will really look after you. Beware though, Christina is only 25 although she looks a little older. Don't offend, I had to do some really fast talking when I suggested she was about 30!! Would definitely go back. Never saw a mouse or a bug, only the tortoise.

Nic & Chris

we got back on sunday having spent the last 2 weeks at the christina, and a fantastic holiday/honeymoon in tsilivi.

the hotel was excellent, just a short walk from town and the main beach, and a 20 minute walk from the 'other' beach, which was much quieter/nicer/cheaper loungers etc. room was basic but exceptionally clean. cleaners were in every day and even did our washing up!! there is no steep hill, unless you are talking about the driveway, which takes the hotel off the main road which must be a bonus! pool was excellent, good size, plenty of longers, clean and perfect at about 4pm when we came off the beach for our first beer of the day!

best pub was utopia, the nearest bar to christina, about 5 minutes into town. really friendly staff, open until the early hours, music, football, cocktails and lots of free shots....yam....a**e!!!

only critisism is the noise of the planes flying overhead, but i don't suppose there is much that could be done about that.

would recommend the island, resort and hotel, and will definitely return, as soon as our livers have healed over again!!

Jeff J

GOING BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR BECAUSE WE ENJOYED IT SO MUCH LAST YEAR WE THOUGHT CHRISTINA AND HER FAMILY WERE LOVELY.THE FOOD WAS GOOD AND THE POOL WAS SPOTLESS,ONLY ONE COMPLAINT WOULD BE THE FUMES FROM THE FILTERATION SYSTEM ON ONE SIDE OF THE POOL.ACCOMODATION WAS GOOD CONSIDERING THE COST,ALTHOUGH BASIC WHICH WE EXPECTED WAS CLEAN. WE FOUND THE PEOPLE WERE MOST WELCOMING AND HAVE MADE MANY GREEK FRIENDS ESPECIALLY THE GIRLS,JOANNE,DENISE AND SISTERS AT THE GELATO CAFE BAR, THE MANOS GRILL WHERE YOU CAN GET A GOOD MEAL AND FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE WITH MARIA AND MANOS MINE HOSTS. NEXT DOOR IS A VERY REASONABLY PRICED GIFT SHOP WORTH A VISIT WHICH IS RUN BY THEO AND MARIA A LOVELY GREEK COUPLES JUST STARTING OUT AND DESERVE A MENTION.

Roger J

Having slight worries before going to the Christina's I'm really pleased to say that it is all rubbish, me and my girlfriend have just returned from two weeks there and found the place to be brilliant!

There not up a massive hill only a short drive really, if you are in the newer built block rooms 49+ you do have a further drive to walk up, but hey whats the rush?

Christina is very friendly and from previous comments she does like it if you try to speak a little Greek to her just to make the effort you havent got to be fluent and rolling it of the tongue!.

The pool is top class, really clean and cool after being in the sun! If you dont fancy a dip then there are plenty of sun loungers and some on an upper tier away from the pool side! The bar is open till the last person leaves and music is not toll loud. They do a Greek night with b.b.q on a Thurs night we didnt go ourselves but from what I heard its worth it.

Rooms are cleaned every day (well ours was anyway). They are spottlesly clean the cleaners do work hard.

The resort of Tsilivi is just superb!!! We fell in love with Popeye's the restuarant we just could not fault the place Dennis and his team there are great, out of 14 nights we went 12! By far the best place to go! Shipwreck is a must like previous comments you just wont believe how blue it is.

All in all we had the best two weeks in Tsilivi you could have imagined! dont be put off by any complaints on here, they are just picking bones to put it down!

If you are on your way to Tsilivi you will have an amazing time! WE DID!!

Jo H

Having been worried about staying at Christina due to reading the comments on here before we went, we were very pleased to find that it's all rubbish!!

The apartments aren't up a massive hill (they're up a drive!), Christina is not mardy AT ALL (she's friendly if you're nice to her - but don't forget she is working!), the apartments aren't miles away from the resort (it's 5 mins walk!), and the music at the pool bar does not blare out til all hours (the bar is only open as long as the last residents can last!). The rooms are basic but very clean, the pool is nice and big with lots of loungers and again, very clean and the food and drinks at the bar are fine. All in all, a good place to stay.

The resort itself is great and caters for most tastes. Our two recommendations are 'Ark Bar' and 'Manos Grill' which, once you discover them, you will become a regular......as we found!! See the comments on their individual boards. Avoid 'Nemesis' restaurant at all costs (Poor service and very poor pizza! And watered down wine!), and don't go home without visiting the shipwreck!

We had a great two weeks in tsilivi........don't be put off by the comments on here. People like to find any excuse to complain!!

Lal L

In my opinion it is not worth listening to any bad comments about Christinas and there is no point worrying about the place because I had a great holiday there.Christina and her family are lovely, hardworking people, always smiling, even though their working hours are so long-we even swapped addresses at the end of our stay.
The pool area is well kept with loads of sun loungers (especially if you go in september)The food is good, and Christina plays a wide range of music around the bar area-IT ISNT TOO LOUD AT ALL!
Admittedly, the rooms are basic, but it doesn't really matter when you are out all the time, and the cleaners do a really good job.
Tsilivi is a lovely place, with a great atmosphere, especially at night.I went with my boyfriend and we thought it was good for couples as there were plenty of bars and restaurants (Utopia bar was wicked and the food at Athena, and Romeo&Juliets was amazing)
Its well worth visitng the shipwreck as the sea is the most amazing blue-you have to see it to believe it.
We had e really good time in this resort and will hopefully be going back again.

Tracey P

My family and I have just got back from our holiday at Christinas, We really enjoyed our two weeks there. Tsilivi is a great resort it comes alive at night, but is not too noisy. Great main beach if you dont mind a bit of a walk. Best place to eat is Premier Restaurant, Excellent food and the staff are very friendly. The apartments at Christinas are lovely. My brother and sister-in-law and nephew had a 3 bed apartment which was very spacious. My parents and my apartment were in the other block. The rooms were kept spotless by the two lovely cleaning ladies.

The pool area was very nice, the pool was kept vey clean and the music from the bar was not too loud at all.

When I booked my holiday I thought I was having my own room, but sadly this was not so. I soon discovered I was sharing with a family of mice. I found droppings and urine in the cutlery drawer, around the worktops, on my clothes and even on the bed. The first mouse was killed, the second we chased out of the room and the third was never found so its probably still there.
It seems the mice just liked my room as no other rooms were reported with having mice. My parents room was next door, they did not have any.

My room was room 24 so if you are put in there just beware!!!

Apart from this mouse business Christinas is a great place but she really needs to get it sorted and not just wait for the next guest to spot a mouse.

Mark P

We stayed at Christinas from 10th August - 24th August 2003.
We were well chuffed with our apartment (Room 33) that overlooked the pool and were all relieved after reading horrid complaints on the website. We had a studio for 3 people - it was huge! The whole place was sparkling clean, it all looked brand new and we even had a bath in our bathroom.

The pool and pool bar are lovely and there are stacks of sunbeds. The children's pool is fenced off from adult pool which was perfect for our son. The music is brilliant; Christina plays a huge variety and it was not loud day or night.

Christina and her Mum are lovely - her Mum adored our little boy! All the staff were helpful - we even had people carrying our luggage and pushing our buggy when we arrived!
The cleaners were brilliant and were around nearly every day - the place was spotless. Our little boy adored the cleaners! Sheets and towels were changed twice a week.

All those positive remarks and unfortunately now a negative point! Our sister staying in Room 24 had field mice living there. It was not noticed until our 4th day but we were suspicious about the cutlery being stored in the high cupboard and not in the drawer! The first mouse was caught and killed but by then had been around pooing and weeing in all sorts of places! Our Rep said "well - thats nature for you - at least its not a rat!" We were told that field mice do not spread disease and will not do any harm. However when we detected a second and third mouse, we were not amused.
The squeaky little buggers left poo and wee everywhere, including her bed linen, kitchen cupboards and her clothes drawer! Although the staff tried to find them and "get rid", Room 24 should have been closed off until the problem was sorted. Please note it was just this room - there were no other complaints.
We personally thoroughly enjoyed our stay but would be wary of staying at Christinas again, if the mice were still present.

The resort of Tsilivi is lovely by the way!

Janice C

To be honest I wasn’t looking forward to my holiday to Christina Apartments because of all the comments that was on this web site. I was expecting a big hill and Christina and Mother always moaning, but it wasn’t like that at all, it was completely different.

The apartments are located up a hill (not a big one) just at the edge of Tsilivi which was good for us because it always had a breeze and it was nice and quiet. The supermarket is about 100 metres away and it only took us about a 20 minute stroll (and I mean stroll because we didn’t walk anywhere quickly) to the Tsilivi centre.

The apartments were basic, but to be honest you only get what you paid for at the end of the day. They were cleaned most days and twice a week the bedding and towels got changed (I would advise you to take some of your own though because they are a bit rough). Once or twice when we couldn’t be bothered to do the dishes before we went out, we found them done when we came back, which I am sure they didn’t have to.

The pool is clean and tidy and it has a lovely mosaic of a dolphin in the bottom of the pool. It is 0.70 metres at the shallow end and 2.50 metres at the deep end, with a children’s pool attached at the shallow end of the main pool.

We found Christina and Mother to be fine with us, but I will tell you something I do not envy their day. Mother got up first and around 10am Christina was up and about and she kept going until around midnight, so I am not surprised that now and again she had a moan. One particular day (near the end of our holiday) we were trying to find out ways to get to the blue caves (something that we wanted to do while we was here in Zante) all the boat trips around Tsilivi were booked up till after we had gone home and Christina spent time with us and came up with a few suggestions, which we really appreciated.

We went to Lagana to see the Turtles. It cost us 15 euros in a taxi to get there, and for the boat it cost 10 euros for adults and I think it was 5 euros for children which guaranteed us seeing one. We did see one and it was amazing, it was lovely to see it in it’s natural environment in the wild. Worth going if you can go.

We also (with the help of Christina) went to the Blue Caves. It cost us 35 euros in a taxi to go to St Nicolas Port and cost us 20 euros for 3 adults and 2 children to go on a boat to the caves. I have never seen the sea so blue, it was like someone had switched a light on under the surface, it was electric and was very beautiful. For a little extra we could have seen the shipwreck, but that was something that we didn’t want to do. I would highly recommend you go, but go about 11am because that is the best time to see how beautiful the sea really is.

I would definitely go back to the Christina Apartments, well worth what we paid for this holiday.

Janice C

To be honest I wasn't looking forward to this holiday because of all the comments I have read on this web site. I had the thought all the way there of this horrible steap hill and Christina and Mother moaning all the time, but is wasn't like that at all, it was competely different.

Yes it did have a hill, but it wasn't that bad.

Yes the appartments are basic, but you get what you pay for at the end of the day. They were cleaned most days and sheets and towels changed twice a week. And once or twice when we couldn't be bothered doing the dishes before we went out, we found them done when we came back, which I thought was very nice of them because I am sure that they didn't have to.

The pool is very clean and tidy and has a lovely mosaic of a dolphin in the bottom of the pool. It is 2.5 metres at the deep end and only 0.70 metres and the shallow end, there is also a very nice childrens pool at the shallow end.

The location of Christina Apartments is good because you are at the edge of Tsilivi town, so that it is nice and quiet at night. There is a supermarket just about 100 metres away.

Christina and Mother was both fine with us, but I tell you something I don't envey thier day. Mother opened up, and then Christina was up about 10am and kept going right through till past midnight, 7 days a week. I would like to see anyone doing them hours without having a little moan now and again. Christina was very helpful to us one particular day (which was close to end of our holiday) because we couldn't get on any boat trips to go and see the blue caves (which we wanted to do). She gave us a couple of ideas of how to get there, which we were grateful for.

Tsilivi town centre isn't too far it is only about a 20 minute strole (and I mean a strole, because we didn't walk anywhere fast).
We found a lovely taverna which we would highly recommend the only problem is I can't remember the name, but it is right opposite the paradise bar, past McDonalds (which wasn't open when we were there).

I can highly recommend you go to the blue caves they are lovely, but go about 11am because that is the best time to see how blue and beautiful the sea is. We took a taxi (costing 35 euros each way) to St Nicolas Port and got a boat (costing 5 euros each) to take us to the caves. For a little extra if you wanted you could go and see the ship wreck, but that is something that we didn't want to do.

We went to Lagana one day to go and see the turtles. It cost us 15 euros to get there in a taxi. The boat (which was right where he dropped us off) cost us 10 euros for adults and I think it was 5 euros for children, which guarented us see one or our money back. We did see one, and it was lovely seeing it in the wild and we have some lovely home video footage of it surfacing, and being able to see all the shapes on its head and shell. Brilliant experience, If you can I would recommend you do.

We arrived back home on Sunday, August 10th, 2003 and wish we were back there still tanning and enjoying ourselves, and to answer your questions yes I would definately go back to Christina Apartments.

Chris J

Got back from Christina`s on 4th aug. We had a fabulous time here. I would recommend these apartments. Really clean and tidy. The pool was exellent, food and drink not too bad,(a little expensive maybe)and Christina was great.(she likes it when you speak a little Greek) We met some great people and overall had one of the best holiday`s yet. I would recommend hiring a car.(EURO-ALFA)was the best we found, not the cheapest, but the best insurance and a very friendly salesman. It is up by manos grill,(which in my opinion was the best taverna in Tsilivi) We would definately come back here. chris and jenni xxx

Sarah D

i have just come back off my holiday to christinas, i found the apartments very basic but nice, the hill isnt to bad and the pool is very clean and fresh.the problem i found is that the mother and christina can be very moody and moan a lot

Katie L

sorry just read some more stupid messages, THE HILL IS NOT THAT BAD! The food was lovely, Chistina was lovely and the appartments were lovely! Sounds like the moaners shound stay in england and moan and moan and moan! ABOUT NOTHING!!!!!!

Katie L

thanks Andy, i've been waiting for someone like you, i agree with you! i went there july 2001 i loved it!

Andy C

I just don't get it? Me and my T, we spent weeks watching (and a little worrying) about this place, but whats your problem. Maybe we were lucky! We certainlly got what we paid for and i think thats what matters!!

We stayed in "14" which is the penultimate furthest apartment/ flat from from the pool and on the second floor. There was steps and hills to climb, and i dfo addmit that the big hill on the other side of the place for families was big, but from what i saw the baggage was even driven up to thoose apartments. Where was I?

yes it was hot/humid at night so i suggest you take insect plugs and try and see if you can get away with leaving you balcony doors open. You can hire a fan, and i would if i was u.! its about 2 euro aday. Theres a safty deposit box in the room and u can use this for 1.50 euro a day. erm what else?

do take extra bog paper, and diarea tablets and all that theres a bug going round, thou' that might be the food at one of the taverna's, who knows.

you get a toilet room, with sink and shower (no shower curtain thou' and you do need to hold the shower head yourself)

the pool was good and clean, there was usually enough loungers to accomidate everyone and all with a umberella/parasol between two.

the drinks wherent expensive reallly, and i didnt try the food.

didnt do the greek night cuz we're young and wanted to go out, plus at 12 euros each we thought it was cheaper to walk into town and get food and drink (lots) for that price.

it was only at most a 15 minute walk to the main centre, and about 10 mins at most to booka beach (rather small thou').

christiana seems okay and i'd agre with thoose who said that her moodiness was probably just a lack of english understanding. but she was okay.

anyway, for all those who where complaining, i have just one question...

what do u want? if you wanting waiting on hand and foot and nice air conditioned apartments with free drinks you should have paid more. You get what you pay for in life, and i know that i got what i expected for my money. As for the person who complained about the taps turning the wrong way... Grow up.

pictuires to follow what i get around to it, but basically a good basic place to stay.

Chris H

The apartments were cleaned on a daily basis, although if you were not out of them by 11am, they were not cleaned unless you let them in while you are there.
The start of Tsilivi town was between 5 and 10 minutes walk away, this included restaurants, bars and tourist shops.
The pool area was very well presented and always clean, the owners did not like you to bring your own food and drink down to the pool area, although they did not say anything to us.
The Greek Night on Thursdays seemed like good fun for those who enjoyed that type of atmosphere, if you do not, you will be kept awake by the music if you are in the block immediately above the pool area. the other two blocks are slightly further away and therefore not so loud.
The pool bar was slightly more expensive than other bars for drinks and ice creams, but food was cheaper than bars in the town.
The apartments are about 10 minutes walk from the best bar in all of Tsilivi, The Ark Cocktail Bar - the best cocktail makers in Tsilivi, very good fun and a large amount of free drink!
Overall, we would go back to these apartments and all of the bad reports were either unlucky holiday makers, or expecting more than you pay for on a Greek self catering holiday.

Beverley B

Please be warned anyone staying in rooms 48-onwards be prepared to climb "heart attack" hill known locally. This is stated as "steep" in the brochure but as a grade 1:4- approx 350m long this is beyond that.

Also as these rooms are for families please note the extra guests as mice and rats are very evident- my husband does pest control for a living and they have a serious problem. We have film evidence.

Joanna H

Well i must say after reading everything people have put here i think i stayed in different place.
I found it to be a VERY nice place, Christina and Her Family WHERE very nice and helpful we had a lovely time sitting at her bar late at night talking.
i have a year old son who all her family took to and i didnt find her music to load and if it was i just popped down to her in the bar and asked her to turn it down, witch she did with no problems.
It was a GREAT place and i will be GOING back

Dean A

hi, just returned from a fortnight at Christinas, and we too were a little apprehensive after reading some of the comments on this board, but have to agree with the previous comments from Ady. Ok Christina could seem to be a little moody, but i think it was a combination of long working hours (she was there from 7 30 in the morning till sometimes 2 am) and the language barrier could have a little to do with it too, not that my greek is up to much!! I think if u treat people with a little respect u get it back, which is what we did, and found Christina very willing to help in any way she could. We would have no problems returning to Christinas, as long as the fiasco in Zante airport was rectified!!

Ady J

My wife and myself have just returned from a week at Christinas. After reading some of these comments we were more than a little apprehensive about going, but tried to keep an open mind about things...anyhow - our view on the subjects already commented on:

1. Music. The music is a little loud at times and sometimes you wonder who it's for when there's no-one at the bar. NB Shania Twain not played once...Music stops at midnight dead.

2. Drinks prices. Yes, of course they cost more at the bar than at the supermarket. Check how much a coke is at your local pub - I bet it's more than at Asda...! Ditto crisps etc

3. Food. No more expensive than anywhere else in Tsilivi - nuff said.

4. Accommodation. Basic but functional - It is Greece after all, but above all it is clean.

5. "Main Road outside." I wouldn't call it a 'Main' road by any stretch. Earlier comment conjured up pictures of the M25...very little traffic, mostly scooters.

6. Rodents. No evidence seen or reports heard of.

7. Pool. Loads of kids with inflatables splashing like kids do - no problem. Diving only stopped from sun deck on top floor as it's just not deep enough. Makes sense to me.

8. Broken Glass. There are enough signs around asking that glasses not be taken by poolside - you deserve what you got if you ignored them.

9. Scrutiny/Criticism. Witnessed neither.

10. "20 minutes from Tsilivi and about 30 mins walk from any beach worth visiting". Apologies if you have walking difficulties, but generally this was just not true. Tsilivi was a gentle (pleasant) 10mins walk and Bouka beach was about six or seven minutes.

There. My twopennuth :)

Steve P

Hi it's steve here again. just to say we met a nice group of people
when we were there but we forgot to get contact info.
so if anybody want's to get in touch contact us at
justeveperkins@yahoo.co.uk
p.s to answer anne's question, no i haven't jumped into the pool
with my wallet in my pocket again. hope to hear from you all love steve'n'co.

Jk R

I'm afraid I have to agree, with previous comments made!

Luckily our apartment was away from the pool so we missed the music etc from the pool bar. But we did have to put up with the main road at night, which at times could give Silverstone a run for it's money!!

The beds were clean, only hand towels were supplied and we had to use a bucket of water if we did a no 2 in the loo!! But hey, we were lucky there were reports of mice on the 2nd floor of the main block and also rats in the newly built block at the back of the complex!!!!

Christina was moody and does not know the meaning of Customer Service - that didn't bother us, we just went out to eat & drink!!!! She also tried to stir up some conflict between the English & Scotts who were visiting - she should realise that, most of the time, we all get on well unlike the Greeks and the Turks!!!!!

Just be warned to hire a fan as soon as you get there - there is no airconditioning - and the appartments get very hot!!!!
