Panorama Hotel

we stopped there in sept 2004 and found it to be the best hotel ive been in{been to laganas 4 times altogether!}all the staff were friendly and so helpful,so weve booked to go back in sept this year!! ps just wandering if the artemis rock bar is still there?

We love this small family hotel, it is in a great position quite but very near to all amminities. Dimitri and Pedros and families could not be more helpful and friendly. Mike my husband is always last to leave the bar. We will be there next year in july august 2006 see you then

This is the only hotel I have ever visited twice and have no regrets as this place is great.  Petro does the day shift and his brother Dimitri at night.  Bar closes about 3.30am and is the best place to be late on unless you really want to party down the strip.  5 mins stroll from all the action but quiet enough not to be affected by it and 2 mins from the beach.  This hotel is great for couples, families, singles and for all ages.  The bar snacks are fine and plenty on the menu.  Breakfast is toast, ham, cheese, bread and jam with tea, coffee and orange.  It is near the Akropolis restaurant which is highly rated by all and definitely worth a visit or two.  I'll be back next year.  Done May and September now so might try June!  Yamas Petro and Dimitri - you are great guys xx

went here in 2003 and are going again 4th Sept, not many comments for this hotel in 2005 and wanted to ask if anyone knows whether Dimitris and Pedro are still there as they made our holiday last time round and I hope it is still their hotel??? Can you help?

This is a good hotel, basic rooms but good bar service and nothing is too difficult for Pedros and Dimitri. I would not recommend for people with walking difficulties or chronic asthma because the hill up to the hotel is quite steep (approx 100 yards of it). I will definitely go back there again.

stayed at Panorama Hotel September 19th 2004. Met some great people especially Andy and Marilyn. The hotel is basic but quite clean. The breakfast is only rolls with cheese or ham so probably not worth getting up for if you've had a late night. The hotel is in a great location, 5 mins from beach and strip and Pedros and Dimitri are very friendly. We had a good holiday there but preferred Garden Palace where we normally stay.

Me and my wife and son have been there twice now and maybe will be going there again next year, During our second stay we had a tiny earthquake and the first time we stayed there was a tornado down near where the boats are and the little island, Demetre and Pedros were funny at night time, You can have a great chat with them, They have cats and there are kittens but theyare pretty shy, There is a mum cat AND MY WIFE LOVED HER! I recomend that if you go any where, Go here

We had a fantastic time here - The rooms are very basic but location is spot on and our hosts (Demitros and Pedros) were brilliant. The rooms are cleaned every 2 days, there's a decent size pool and sun terrace and the food is excellent. We met a good bunch of people and Pedros and Dimitros were cool about us fannying about the pool at 5 am after staggering in from cocktails and dreams... ah the memories...

we stayed here from 8/8/04 to 24/8/04 and had a wonderful time. its a nice clean hotel with all the amenities you could want in a hotel. the pool area is lovely and the sun terrace is excellent with the sun there until well after 7. dimitri and pedros a wonderful people.pedros is happy and helpful by day and dimitri wonderful and willing by night.
we really enjoyed our holiday at the panorama and met some very nice people ( hi keeley n tom ).
we will be going back to zante in a few years and i will be booking our place in this very popular holel fo sure.

We came back on sunday and was very sad to come home.This is a great hotel and Petro and Dimitri are great!.Many times we got Dimitri drunk on Metaxa when we would return from the strip and sit with him untill he closed the bar at 3:30, great entertainment!

Hi Pedro,Demitri,Fiona, Harry & Helena. I joined my step-daughter & her great friends on the 12th of July (Yes I really was the step-mum!!) and had such a lovely time. Thanks for accomadating me at such short notice - had the best time. (Do apologise for all that noise & pool throwing on my last night!!)
Hope to be there again -this time w/ hubby & bring my lttle boy -Dylan to play w/ Harry in the pool - and promise to keep the noise down.

Well all I can say is snap, I'm short with blonde shoulder length hair (I'm gorgeous and look like a model too!!!),my boyfriend is called TOM! and he is tall with dark spikey hair!! we are flying from manchester,at 12.00 on sunday night.we are from liverpool. yes the hotel sounds great, i am so glad i found this web site because i was going to a different apartment and when i looked it up, everyone had been robbed. even when they were asleep!!!
i have been twice before but have never seen the panorama.
i am 21 and my boyfriend will be 21 while we are there.

to mike dyson, the hotel is about 500 yrds from la bamba, behind it, next door to bamba is a cafe, go up the side st.at the side of the cafe and keep going to a [ T ] junction, keep left and follow the road round and its at the top of the hill,you cant miss it, i was there in 1997 so i am going off memory, but its up there, very nice, dont ask them for egg+chips, it will confuse them as you get your chips 10 minutes later you get your egg, their so laid back the greeks i love it there... have a good holiday mik

to mick dyson, get a taxi from airport, it will take around 15/20 mins your about 500 yards from a karaoke bar called,[ LA BAMBA ]VERY GOOD NITE OUT, so the taxi driver should know where your going from this info,HAVE A GOOD HOL,BEST RESTAURANT I FOUND, GO DOWN TO THE SEA FRONT TURN LEFT, PASS A PUB CALLED, [THE FISHERY ] FOR ABOUT 500 YARDS, AND ITS CALLED THE [ GREEK ISLAND ]BON APITITE

Hi all, Just got back from Laganas on the 4th June and had a fab time. My mate and I were crying at the airport!! Never wanted to go home! But we are going back in a couple of weeks cos we loved it soo much. The hotel is basic but fab and we meet some good people staying at the hotel.

Where exactly is the hotel panorama. I am there in September and would like to know the location so I can get a taxi from the airport

We are from Birmingham , our flight is at 5am on the sunday, where are you from and which airport are you flying from. I think that this hotel sounds ok , it's about 5 mins from the beach and all of the bars so that sounds good. How old are you both? I'm 25 and by boyfriend is 21.

You have chosen a brill hotel, 5 mins from beach nd bars you will probs spend about £350 per week havin a gud time, we went last july nd it ws heavin, goin again same date as u, so will c u there 3 lads from newcastle x

I lived in Zante last summer for 4 months with my girlfriend and my best mate stayed here for his 3rd time !!!! I spent most of the week with him here and it is by far the best hotel on the island. Pedro and Dimitri and Fiona are so welcoming and they treat you like they have known you years. I am not sure if they ever sleep tho !!!. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to go to Laganas in 2004. Its clean, not too far from the main area but quiet enough to be able to sleep at night and the views are great.

Hi Guys and Girls! Just wondering if any of the people stayed at this wondeful place during the weeks of 30th June and 13th July? Coz me and five mates were there at this time! Just thought it'd b nice to see if anyone else that met met was about?

dmitris + petros eh up guys its joni. went at end of july on my
own and stayed in the world famous room 15 (only room with air
conditioning i might add, ha ha) and i had a superb time
espessially with mallakass 1 and mallakass 2. i recommend
this place to anyone, and of coa**e loads of gorgeous girls for
next year coz im comin all seaon!! yashoe!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Panaroma-hi to all the guys staying there same time as us (Tor & Steve). For those of you that are staying here in future if you make it for breakfast it is only rolls cheese & ham-dont worry though Dimitri & Pedro do great bacon butties & cooked brekkies! Late nights at the bar after a night on the lash are certainly not to be missed!Dimitri & Pedro are great-steve says hello malakas. Always sunloungers free & pool is nice & cool-see photos. torxxx

We liked this hotel so much for its location and hosts that we have paid over the top to go back there this year. Other, better equipped hotels were cheaper but I am going to stick with what I like.

Couldn't have got this more right if we had tried. Just spent a week here and spent more time in the hotel bar with Dimitri and Pedro than going wild on the strip. Pool, sundeck and rooms all fine and spectacular views. Will definitely be back next May if not this October. Yamas Dimitri, Pedro and Fiona. Luv Vickie and Gavin

Had a great honeymoon. Dmitris and Pedros were fantastic hosts , English Breakfasts were outstanding. Great Hotel , Great Family and Great atmosphere. I would recommend Panorama to anyone going to the island.

in reply to question about hotel location.it is a 2 minute walk to the beach but 10 minutes to go back as it is at the top of a hill.the location is ideal as it is away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip but just a short walk to it when you want a lively night out.

I stayed here a couple years ago and thought it was fantastic. I didnt notice the noise from the bar when I was in bed cos I was usually the last one in there for every night for 2 weeks. And if I wasnt, I was so hammered from the night life on the strip that I wouldnt have heard and rhino fart 2 inches from my face!!!! The family who ran it were brilliant. Dmitris and Pedro and their sister, if you see this, thanks for making my 2 weeks. I hope to be out there working this summer so I will definately come and say hello if I do.

It was very nice and the rooms and pool are very nice but the noise from the bar until 3am was very annoying and we hardly slept.

THE HOTEL AND THE GREEK FAMILY WHO RAN IT WERE VERY NICE AND HELPFUL AND MADE YOU MORE THAN WELCOME. THE PROBLEM WITH THIS HOTEL IS ALTHOUGH ITS IN A QUIET AREA AND IN A VERY PRETTY LOCATION YOU ARE ALWAYS GETTING WOKE UP BY THE BAR DOWNSTAIRS WHICH IS ATTACHED TO THE 18 ROOMS AND IS OPEN UNTIL 3AM SO IF YOU WANT TO HAVE AN EARLY NIGHT BEFORE 3 THEN FORGET IT I WOULDN'T SUGGEST YOU GO HERE.

Hotel basic but very clean. Run by a Greek family - very friendly. Lovely pool with pool-side snacks and drinks (try the cocktails). Five minutes walk to the beach and nightlife. Near enough to enjoy the action - far enough away to be quiet during the night. If you are lucky enough to get a top floor room (304) facing the sea, the views are amazing!!! Met some lovely people whilst there. Hope all are keeping well.

Hello all you fellow Scots hope u all enjoyed your holiday as much as we both did.Hotel is family run, Pedro,Dimitri and Nadia {2 brothers & a sister} were very helpful and polite a great atmosphere for an excellent holiday. The pool was spotless & super view from the sun terrace.Bar was well stocked and snacks hot or cold could be bought from 8 am till 3.30 am,nothing too much bother.See you all next year!

The location is about 400 meters up a slight hill from the beach and 5 mins from the main strip. If you are lucky and get a room with a seaview you will get a beutiful view of most of the south side of the island very nice! It is laid back and quite, has a nice sun deck with great views, pool clean & attractive but is small, rooms clean, worth every penny going back June 2002

We got this hotel last year very cheap,it is only a short walk to night life but far enougth away to get peace. The sun terrace is quiet and the pool is clean. The only down side was the breakfast not a cooked english one but ok if you like cornflakes and yogurt,You can pay extra for a cooked breakfast. The rooms are basic but clean and better than most hotels in the centre of town.

Ginger - Standard hotel (basic but comfortable) in a quiet area, but only about 5 - 10 mins to resort centre and all bars / clubs etc. Lagana main road / centre has many to choose from, with Rescues and Zeros being the most popular.
