Manos Grill

Started in despair when saw it was closed. Absolute joy when we found they had just moved to a bigger site!! Best in our opinion. The homemade Burgers in Cheese Sauce are the best things in the history of food!!!!

Food as good as ever. Many thanks to Manos and Maria for making Juliettes birthday special. The quality and presentation of the meals is superb, yes, it has been said they charge more than a lot of places but you get what you pay for. see you both again in September

- fantastic meal and very nice people! This restaurant has moved. They are now down the road 200 metres past the Jupiter Hotel on the right, opposite the jewellery shop.

Haven't eaten in the restaurant in Tsillivi but the one in Zante Town is GREAT !! We go there all the time - especially recommend Chicken & Bacon Souvlaki and my daughter recommends homemade burgers   YUM YUM  my mouth is watering !!!

Just returned from Tsilivi and the good news is that is seems Manos is simply moving and not closing. They appear to be taking over the premises that was previously The Fat Olive and it didn't look too far off being ready to open when we left.

Food very good, the only problem that we have with this restaurant now is the amusements across the road might as well be in Blackpool. things like this are ruining the resort

 I have to say this resturant is very popular so go early other wise you'll have to queue ,food is very very good ,and again staff very very welcoming,well worth a visit .

Long wait for food, ordered steak med/rare, got piece 45min later very well done. Young couple behind us still waiting for their main cource after 1 hr. Not the best I've had

 Fantastic restaurant, lovely atmosphere very friendly staff!!! OK slightly pricey but well worth it. You can't go wrong with the garlic mushrooms, meatballs, chicken a la creme and mixed grill!!

Ate here the first night of our holiday, the grill was good and the company was as usual excellent. The service was efficient.

paid a visit to the manos a few days ago and have to say I was also disappointed after hearing all the glowing reports. We opted for a couple of steaks and have to say they were nothing special. Not exactly the cheapest place to eat either.

Very disappoined with the food and service at the Manos Grill especially after hearing such good things about it. The starters were ok, stuffed vine leaves and big beans (butter beans in a tomato sauce). But then we waited for 45 minutes before getting the main course.

Ate there twice. Special mixed grill was something else!! Bit pricy( by their standards not ours) but worth it

Manos grill has got a fantastic reputation. It’s always busy so can be difficult to get a seat so either go early or be prepared to wait.

The night we went was no exception, we were lucky enough to turn up just as others were leaving so managed to get a table very quickly.

Without a doubt the best restaurant in tsilivi, myself and my boyfriend got kebabs...fantastic, cooked to perfection, starters are also excellent, try the stuffed vine leaves, much better than they sound, also try the Baklava...very tasty Greek desert.

Staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient

Place was full every night which only added to the atmosphere

Another fabulous meal at Manos. We had told our family about it so much we had to take them and they were not dissapointed.

I wanted to be the first to write on this years pages, i worked at Manos Grill a few years ago, and have been trying to contact Manos and Maria for so long, when i had a brainwave, and remembered this site...and while i'm here-my advice to anyone wanting to eat out in Tsilivi-please go to Manos Grill-you will not be disappointed, i have no doubts, it won't have changed a bit - it will still be the best by far. And you will not find anyone to treat you better-like i said i worked there a few years ago for the entire summer-and the hospitality i was shown was incredible...Manos and Maria are great.
And Maria....i know you will read this, i seem to be having trouble contacting you, i have sent a couple of letters, and tried calling, but dont think i have the right number-it only just occurred to me to post you a note on this site!

Lovely Food, wonderful service and absolute 'Doggie' lovers. Maria is a doggie lover and looks after so many strays. The welcome mat is bed for some, and customers step over them. Was wonderful. Even people who were not queing to come into the resturant, stopped to admire the sleeping hound on the doormat. Well done Maria and Manos ( and the waiter who said he was so good looking he didnt need a flashy motor bike!! xx) Best Lamb chop in the resort, but Maria's doggies dont need your bones, give them out to needy ones on you way back to you hotel or accomadation. xx  Thank you Maria xx Bless You

Manos, Maria, thanks for a great time and for the table reservation for Denise's birthday. We really enjoyed the superb food/atmosphere and service as always. Manos, Maria and all the staff really look after you. We have been visiting Zante for 12 years now and not found a better restaurant  (we stopped looking when we found Manos Grill). The food is superb, Manos is a butcher by trade and only uses the best quality meat. My only complaint is there isn't a Manos Grill in Leeds!

This was our 2nd year in Zante and once again Manos Grill has been our favourite restuarant!!!

The food, service and friendliness of the staff is second to non and I wouldn't say it is expensive, to food is excellant quality and we found to price to be reasonable!!

A big hello and thank you go to Manos, Maria and all the wonderful staff who once again made eating out in Zante a wonderful experience, and we hope to see you next year!!!!

Again we tried this place on recommendations from this web site and we were not dissappointed.  We ate before 8pm as we have 2 small kids and hence avoided having to queue but much after that it was difficult to get a table.  Once in it is worth it.  The 3 spreads for bread, pre-starter were gorgeous (didn't need a starter after that!).  The food was lovely and prices reasonable.  Well worth a visit.

We Went To Manos Grill 4 Times Over Two Weeks And Every Visit Was Excellent.

We tried to go to this restaurant a few years ago, but there was always queues outside, so we never visited it.  This year as we were only a 100m from it, we managed to eat there.

been here the last 3 years , was not impressed this time food was overly expensive for tsilivi ,

50 euros for 3 people , usually about 25 to 35 anywhere else this year .

took our daughter with us second time we went and yiannas and antonis behaviour did not impress , all inuendo and leering behaviour

majorly dissapointed , as every other visit over the years has been been good , wont be back which is a shame as the food is nice ,

Back again this year and thoroughly enjoyed our meals here - this place is a must for anyone visiting Tsilivi - mouth watering food and lovely staff - just great!

Well, they finally extracted us off the plane and we are back here in miserable Ireland for another year..........or maybe just until sept!!!!!! We waited all year to go back and we weren't disappointed. The welcome we got was fantastic, the food was as ever faboulous and the lads were working harder than ever. We ate there for 12 out of 14 nights. (Never Ever go to Zante for less than 2weeks.)  We heard since that Nikos rang the airport to make sure we were on the flight home!!!

Ooops, in my last one I forgot to put in the food, service, price thing!!   It's defo NOT only average!!!

The food here was absolutely gorgeous!  It was the only place we went back to twice, there are sooo many restaurants to choose from but I'd say nearly everyone who goes here returns. Really fresh food, the swordfish was the best I've ever had and the steak according to my rare steak fanatic boyfriend was out of this world! Oh and the house wine was beautiful too.

The staff are all so friendly and so efficient. It's slightly more expensive than most of the rest but WELL worth it!

 Hi Manos, Hi Yanis and and Hi to everyone. MANOS GRILL IS THE BEST!!! I can not wait to see you again and eat your wonderful food.

Well worth a visit (or two)

Definately the best place in Tsilivi. Today is my last day in zakinthos and im really sad i have to go and i just wanted to tell everyone how good Manos Grill is.The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and i will miss them all.You definately have to try grandmas banoffee and cheese cake.See you all again soon.

Great food, great service and no burgers! The only dissappointment was they closed a week before they said they would and we didn't get a chance to eat there more often.

Very friendly efficient service and a cow bell rings when you leave or are recognised when you walk by!

Just got back on 9th October 2005, ate at Manos 3 times and couldn't fault the food and service.  On our first visit we asked for the name of the CD they were playing and was told that we probably wouldn't  be able to buy it but they would get a copy for us  and sure enough on our next visit that's exactly what they'd done and free of charge - how's that for service! Thanks Manos, Maria and your staff you're pretty special.. We loved the Stifado and vine leaves and cheese in the oven to start.

i think im missing somthing here. im sure the manos grill used to be down in the village and it was still just OK. somthings just dont change

 best restaurant in tsilivi and then some, between 8pm and 9pm queues were forming sometimes, great food, friendly hard working staff and great atmosphere, had 3 meals there and enjoyed them all pork souvlaki a must...

Martina and I just happened upon this slice of paradise! and thank god we did! the food was superb, I had greek dishes like beef stifado  (A.K.A  Irish stew!) and martina had chicken souvlaki, and it was faboulous! great wine list with our foavourites on, plenty of craic out of Mano and the lads, who joined us for a drink up the street later! we even got to meet some of Antonios' furry friends! Mano offered us a ride, on his Harley, of course! And we never saw anyone who worked as hard as Maria! we can't wait to go back, and we want their email address!!!!!

   Myself my Partner and our Daughter spent 2 wonderful weeks in Tsilivi.We visited Manos on a couple of occassions.Food,Service and overal Aura were brilliant.I would recommend Manos to anyone travelling to Tsiliiv. Paul Sandra Shauna

the serviceand food (we had traditional greek mezes and main courses) is excellent in manos grill with very helpful and friendly staff. a very enjoyable night. this restaurant is rather small and could be easily overlooked but if you are passing give it a go.

Just booked a holliday with the girls for next year. Cant wait . I'll deffinatly be returning to manos grill.

We ate at manos twice and the food was great service a bit slow but great staff and not to expensive . Go check it out and while your there check Atonis too!

Overated in my opinion.

 The food WAS good , and the service was ok, but if you are going there based on earlier reports on this website, I would recommend you try hard for a "window" seat. This place got really busy (probably based on this site's reports). The first time we (4 adults) went we did get a window seat and it was good, so good in fact we went back again. This time we were at a table on the back wall,where it was really squashed up and sticky hot. Basically too many customers in the place!!  Service wasn't as good 2nd time. If  I was still on my hols I would not be rushing back.
