Which brochure do the Alex Apartments feature in. Are you able to book direct with the owners?

Why don't they have a happy hour at the bar at The Alex Apartments? Can someone ask Theo or Pete?

I travelled to the Alex apertments with Sarah & Janine (see comments below). I also thought the apartments were great, the pool was lovely, pool bar was cheap and clean and Theo & Pete behind the bar were fantastic. My boyfriend and I are going back in September!

Just had a great week at the Alex appts, very clean, lovely pool and bar staff Theo & Pete are brill (excellent breakfasts)and cocktails. Suzanne Millward-Yes they do provide bath towels. Natalie Brisley-No bath just a shower which does have a curtain, we went with airglobe and they are good, its not too busy now but depending on when you go it will get busier July/August, all the bars/clubs have to turn the music down at midnight unless they have soundproofing. We went 8 years ago and loved it then and its as good now. Will be going back as its so nice there.

Just got back from Zante Laganas. Stayed in the Alex appartments. They are in a great position, right next to beach and couple of minutes walk from main strip, but still quiet! The guys behind the bar are excellent and very helpful. Accomodation was basic but clean. The food at the pool bar is very good and well priced. Great for all ages and good price too. Best holiday we've ever had and will definately go back to the Alex. Thanks to Theo and Pete.

Please can anyone tell me do we have to take our own towels for the bathroom or do the Alex apts provide them?

I work for a travel agency in the uk and i have booked alot of holidays with Airglobe. We have never had any complaints about them. I am also booked to go to the Alex apartments but i am going in June. I will let you know how i get on when i get back in July, but it gets pretty good reports on this website. Most of the tour operaters go there. I hope this helps Natalie.

Hi im going to the Alex apartments in August2002, it will be the first time me and my boyfriend have been on holiday by ourselves so im quite worried. We booked with airglobe holidays who iv never heard of before and was wondering if any one new any other holiday company that goes there. Also is laganas really as hetic and busy as i think it's going to be or is it possible to have a relaxing fairly peacful holiday with out the hassel. Do the Alex apartments have a bath? or is it just a shower if it is does it have a shower curtain as last year in crete we didn't. And finally does anyone know what the star rating of these apartments are? please contact me A.S.A.P THANX NATALIE

We stayed here last June and we loved it. Its quite basic, but most of the accommodation is out in Greece. There are safety deposit boxes in the rooms which cost around 3000 Drachmas a week (last year.) Great place to stay!!!

We are going to the Alex apartments in June 2002 and were just wondering if they had safety deposit boxes either in the room or at reception?

been to zante before stayed in a few places but this beats them all.right on the beach five mins from the strip nice pool and bar. food brill drinks cheap.bar staff exellent theo and peter. anybody going say hello from little kyle for me. allready booked for next year. TOP PLACE

Brilliant location, could'nt ask to be any closer to the beach. Two minute walk from the main strip which means it's well in stumble distance after a hard night of mythos/fish bowl cocktails/any other filth you can chuck down your neck. Apartments are far enough away though not to be bothered by noise. Pool was excellent and the bar staff were really friendly, which made for a relaxing recovery of the daily hangover. General cleanliness was ok, rooms were cleaned out every other day - although there seemed to be a distinct lack of toilet paper when we were there!

Best location for apartments in Laganas, right by the beach and bars/clubs, but its set back so its quieter. We just got back on Sunday. Have a beer in the pool for us! Good music at the bar too.
