   Hello Theo and family, hope you are all well and i hope you're reading this as well. Its time for us to book our holiday for summer again, but having got the olympic brochure, you dont appear to be in it. Please please please can someone let us know where the Alex Studios have gone to. See you all in September................hopefully!

Hello - we are Paul and Annmarie - we stayed at the Alex Studios from 3 Aug 06 to 17 Aug 06 and had one of our best hols so far. Situated a stone throw from the beach and a few mins walk from all the bars, restaurants, clubs and shops it really is in an ideal spot,

Pool was fantastic, sun loungers and umbrellas available usually providing you are up for two on busy days and a well needed hangover cure to jump straight in some days.

Overall we had a great time met some top people and would defo return there one day

The Alex Studio's were a great base for a stay in Laganas, a stones throw from the beach and a 5min walk to the main strip. The owners are genuine nice people, we accidentally broke a window and to be fair to Theo he took it very well!

Stayed at Alex 27th jul - 3rd aug - had a great time and made some fab friends.  Tho now looking for the cheeky chap who went by the name of 'B' from sth London who stayed from 31st jul.  'Works in the oil and gas industry.......  I knew he was trouble from night 1 when his apartment was found pieced back together with Haribo star mix and his mate found half dead on the bathroom floor after electricution!!  Anyone else meet these lads from room 16??????  'B' - if u read this, u a top bloke!!!  anyway, anyone who stays at Alex will have a brill time and like cat (see below) said, they'll be lots of balcony hopping!!!  have fun everyone, Ali

Great apartments for anyone staying in laganas, stayed here for a week from the 27th of july till the 3rd of august. All of my mates were staying at the TZante hotel so i spent most of my time elsewhere, even so the Alex was ideal. Located just away from the main strip and virtualy on the beach its a great spot leaving you close to the action but away from the noise. The only problem i had was with the rooms being far too hot but you are in Greece not rainy Manchester, also with the beach being your only route to the nightlife you will find that you wake up with half the beach in your room in the morning from the night before, but dont worry the cleaners will sort that out, they even washed my pots. Overall i couldnt have asked for a better base whilst in laganas and would reccomend this place to anyone going  to laganas for the nightlife.

Just got back from zante and have to say alex apartments are in the prime location. 1min from the beach and only a couple of mins from the main strip. although the strip club is slightly further so get a taxi. (lol) its off the main road so you dont get all the noise all night.

Hey hey!! Me and all my 9 other college friends are all on our way to zante on the 2nd july 2006!!! three of us are staying at the alex studios, just wondered who else will be there when we are and if anyone could give us any advice or tips to know about the apartments or the area!?!? cheers!

We loved Alex's Studios, one of the best holidays we have been on. In a quiet area but minutes away from the main strip. Will defo be going back next year to see Theo & Makis!!

Does anyone out there know which tour operator that Theo from the Alex Studios in Lagana are using for Summer 2006. We are planning to get married in Zante next year, and having been to the Alex Studios several times we would like to stay there again for our wedding.

Myself and two relatives have just returned from a two week stay although the apartments and cleaner were fantastic, olympic holidays and their rep jessie were not.Being pensioners and disabled we were not included in any meeting to discuss available trips or told about departure times until the day before. So when we asked to be picked up from vezals which is virtually next door we were told that the coach was not allowed on the beach at 3.30am, this turned out to be a complete lie as after being made ill from dragging the luggage up the beach to bad boyz the coach then went down the beach to vezals and back up.We also tried to speak about being woken every morning at 4am but the rep could not be found until after 6pm and then told us there was nothing that could be done.We understand that the younger generation love having a laugh but all we asked was for a bit of consideration and with the respect that we deserve as we paid the same money as everyone else but were not treated so. If anyone is considering booking through olympic then think again

Stayed at Alex Apartments a few years ago, wanting to come and stay again with family and friends but not able to find a Tour Operator that has you in their brochures. I am looking to book next years holiday and would like to go back to Alex Studios but cannot find it in Olympic 2006 brochure, are they still with them next year? or have they gone with another tour operator?

Have booked to stay at the Alex Studios in three weeks time. I would be grateful for anyone who has stayed there this year to tell me what its like. Have read some mixed reviews, with some saying it was great to people last year saying that they were robbed and had their safes ripped out.

My girlfriend is also concerned about the beach walk to get to the hotel. Is it just across sand (and if so how long a walk) or are there boards to walk across? And is it also an 18 to 30's hotel?

As mu good friend Laura has said..... Alex Studios was EXCELLENT! Theo the owner is without a doubt the nicest SEXIEST man you will ever meet! For what we paid you couldn't of ask for anymore...the beach is only a second away as our shops nightlife etc.

I can honestly say these are the best apartments i have ever stayed in...my second year in zante and i loved it.

Anyone got any info on Alex Studios yet???? I have sent an e-mail but no reply :-(( I am hoping I'll know something in 2 weeks time as I have a friend going to Zante next week and gave him the mission to seek out Alex Studios and all information on how to book (if we can book!!!!) so if I find anything out I'll post the info on here.

Dear theo and peter, get your act together and let us know how we can book our holiday for June at your apartments because all information regarding "ALEX APTS" seems to have dissapeared off the face of the planet since Golden sun went bust!!!!!!!!

We have the phone number you gave us in september 2003,have tried to ring you but you are never there,will keep trying!

We really dont want to stay anywhere else as we feel so at home at your place!!

Does anyone know what holiday company has taken over bookings for Alex Studios since Golden Sun has gone bust????? I was there this year and want to book for next year as they are brill!

I've stayed at these apartments now 3 times, and to be honest i really wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. The holiday company they were with has gone bust, does anyone know what holiday company they are with now?

Me and my friends stayed there in June and thought the alex studios were really nice. They are near to the beach and all the bars and restarants but theyre in a quiet location. The rooms are basic but they are clean and the maids even wash the pots! I would stay there again

I MUST BE HONEST I HAVE NEVER STAYED AT ALEX APTS,BUT I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THE BORSALINO APARTMENTS IN LAGANAS FOR THE LAST 7 YEARS!!AND IT IS A FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY.YANNIS THE OWNER IS A GREAT BLOKE HE MAKES YOU SO WELLCOME, THE APARTMENTS ARE CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED AND THE FOOD IS GREAT.I WOULD SAY,TRY THE BORSALINO APTS YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

I'm seriously tempted by Melanie's review (too good to be true? Hope not) but can anyone else back her up? One more like this and I'll be there in June! Any pics of the hotel itself would be great cos as Mel said, it looks a bit dingy in the brochure. Also, would like to know just how '18/30s' the atmosphere is; Don't get me wrong I'll be the first one at the bar, but not really up for gangs of 16 year old slappers. Did read a review on another website by someone who had the safe ripped out of their wardrobe but these things happen(!)

The Alex is available exclusively through GoldenSun/Airglobe holidays.It does not have a website. You cannot book direct. The Alex is made up of 2 small blocks, each with about 20 studios/apartments. One block is exclusively for the Brits and all studios/apartments in that block have pool view. We stayed in studio, 3 of us, and we found it plenty big enough. The owners are extremely friendly and the location is fantastic. 30 seconds to the beach and less than five minutes to the main strip. There is no noise from the strip here. The pool bar is open long hours and is run by Theo and Peter, who are both fantastic. They serve really good food in the daytime, up to about 7 pm, and then stay open till the early hours for the guests to have lots of drinks!!!. Real relaxed atmosphere. We felt like part of the family. There is a computer which you can pay to use to go online.The pool is big and the picture in the brochure doesn't do the place justice. Every room has fridge and all the basics you need. Fans can be hired, first come, first served. There are shower curtains!! The place is extremely clean, rooms, walkways and pool area. The cleaning lady even washed up for us last year! Should you have any problems, which is very unlikely, the owners will do their upmost to help. The rep told me last year that they have never had a complaint about this place and once you have been there you will see why. We had 2 weeks and did not want to go home. We are going back again for 2 weeks in may this year. Hello Theo, Alex sends his love and can't wait to see you again! X

I had a great 2 weeks here last year, and I would definately recomend it to all you party-goers! I l;oved the fact that we were on the beach, and very close to the main strip. Rio the barman is fit, and Im hoping to go sometime soon, amandaxxx

i have been to these apartments twice and they are great,but iam unable to find out if they are still with airglobe this year and next if anybody knows or you are going this year or next please reply.

Alex Apartments were real value for money. Location was excellent, couple of minutes to beach and main strip. Pool area really nice. Rooms all face the pool and bar therefore can be a bit noisy at night and the rooms get really really hot. You can hire fans from the supermarket up the strip from 1 euro a day, worth getting.

This place was amazing. I went here with 26 other people and it was the best time ever. Theo made us all feel so welcome the food was great value, the pool was great and the beach is just a minute away. I recommend you try the breakfasts they are great Im planning on going back next year with all my friends so I'll see you there xxx

Hi, My husband and I just got back from Zante and had such a great time there. The Alex Apts were excellent! The apartment were about 30metres to the beach, and about 100metres to the main street of bars, clubs and restaurants. Theo and Pete cook a great english brekkie for the morning after! There's a pool right next to the bar and a short fall out of bed from your apartment! What more do you need? Great holiday b back again next year!

Me and my girlfriend Stacey have just got back from the Alex Studios and we loved it. We didnt want to come home and can't wait to go back. We would recommend it to anyone. All the staff were very friendly and Pete does a great breakfast! The location is great but it gets a bit chilly at night! Hi to Kenny & Kelly from Southend who have video footage of Stacey drunk!

Got back from Laganas(S club 7) about two weeks ago, the Alex was the best accomodation any of us have stayed in, in Greece.Location is great, up a quiet little road, but only 50 Yards from the beach and the main strip ( no hiking anywhere !)You can fall into the pool from your apartments, it is that close ! The same for your sun lounger and pool bar. The food is excellent and cheap, the staff are polite( my friend dom took a real shine to theo.....but that is another story!)Be careful with your "safe" key! We lost our first one and there was only one spare....don't leave in the kettle !!In September it can get chilly at night, so where a fox hat !Quick hi to piero( makes the best gyros kebabs!)Rip Van Winkle Rob, and Jimmy Saville who we met in Zero's !

We last went to Zante two years ago (got engaged on first night - so made it an excellent and memorable holiday). Looking forward to staying somewhere with a pool and BAR!! Been before loved it.As to the flight details i was told that we were going with airscandic the flight times and details are on there website www.airscandic.com the flight times are the same as ours which are, depart manchester 11.55am arrive zante 17.55 and you flight number is scy 9971.if your there for 2 weeks we will mybe see you and have a drink round the pool

HI we are traveling to the Alex Apartments on the 11th of august but are having alot of poblems with airglobe/golden sun who we are traveling with. They have changed our aircraft 3 times and seem really disorganised, everytime we ring them up we are told something different . I don't even know whether our flight times are still the same. If anyone is experiencing similar difficulties could you please get in touch it would also be helpful for anyone traveling at the same time to confirm what flight times they have. please get back to me ASAP coz im starting to get worried!
