Angela Hotel

Am due to stay here on 8th September for a week. Wanted to stay back at Tzante Hotel, where I stayed in June, but thought I'd try something different. Angela isn't too far from the beach. If you want a map of the strip, Rescue's site has a decent one of most of the restaurants/bars etc. I think it's something like rescue.net. Check it out if you want to know where abouts your staying. Anywhere you stay though, especially if your on the strip, your gonna have a wicked time. Any one going in September, let me know! mik_berley@hotmail.com

Hi people, me and my mates are off to Zante in August and wanted to know the best places to be. Can anyone give me any info on the night life here so we know where to and not go.

Nice and clean studio, but when i stayed last october i couldn't use the pool because the hotel owners had a dog and let it crap all around the pool area. Also in the rooms you can hear every word spoken in the next room.

First impressions werent great but in the end had a wicked time, pool and bar are good - really good atmosphere, wud def stay there again!

hey, i have worked in the angela apts as a club 18-30 rep back in 2001. they are fab, clean and right in the heart of it all. i will be back working in laganas in april 03- sept 03, not for club, but for escapades. i will be in the tzante, come and visit!!!!!!!

Me and my sister will be staying here at the end of july for two weeks. We would like an honest report of the Angela Apartments.

Small place in a good location. Rooms where adequate & kept very clean. Ideal location for the beach & nightlife if you find the shortcut to the main street. Also small supermarket and use of a swimming pool literally 1 minutes walk away. Would not have a problem going back to this place at all

The apartments were very clean but they are located off of the main strip in a quiet location , Don't worry though although there is nothing to do it is still a clean enough place to sleep should you make it home . The owners live in a little shed behind and they are ok although it is like your mum waiting up for you . Whatever you do though don't complain about the cleanliness you should not need to but should you they are easily offended otherwise nice little rooms with all you need

Hiya....I am staying at the Angela from 4th August, travelling alone....Any groups there at that time that i cud latch onto i wud be gratefull. Dont want to look like a billy no mates

the hotel is s**t , tony is a w**ker and the pool is s**t so if u r going there good luck

Just got back they are not as bad as everyone says are apartments were cleaned everyday clothes folded up the lot, they are right on the main strip really handy for all the bars and clubs unlike some of the other 18 30 apartments in the back of beyond. If you stay on the right side if the owner he's pretty sound upset him and you will know about it!!!

the maids dont give you any extra loo roll!!! AHHH! VERY basic if S/C. Excellent location, Toni the manager of the hotel is noce but a bit sleezy (greek style).

to victoria ikoku.the East Hull massive are staying at the angela apartments from the 2nd of july for 2 weeks. so if u are looking for sum fun than your in luck.Get back.

The apartments were a disgrace, our room was cleaned twice in a fortnight and the cleaner didn't even empty the bins. Other people that we met there had worse apartments than us, none of the lights worked and when they had a shower the whole apartment flooded. To top it all off the owner, Tony, accused them of breaking the lights and tried to charge them. He charged a number of people £20 to keep their room on for an extra day then chucked them out at 8pm when we were not getting picked up till 4am.

Dave I have never stayed there but we used the pool there. I it is a lovely hotel on the main stretch of Laganas 3 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to all the good bars. If you are in to clubbing checkout ZEROS you can try all the others but from our expirences ZEROS is the best.

We stayed here for a week in May 2001 and were very happy. It is very close to the beach and nightlife yet not too close to hear everything, is small but was very suitable for us. The place was cleaned every other day by a cleaner who also washed up if we left any dirty plates around. We are now looking to return to Angela in October.

How good is this place,need some info.

These Apartments are average at best situated behind the original potatoe place and the spicy chicken place. There is no entertainment a small pool and a little bar. I knew a few people that stayed here and not one of them had a good word to say about the rooms and the Owner is 1 of the dodgiest men on the island

Please could you let me know what to expect from these apartments, me and a group of mates are thinking about booking to stay there and would like to know what the standard of accomodation is like...
