Absolutely loved it, top place to stay..Perfect location and although we were a bit apprehensive about it because of comments we had no trouble and a totally brilliant time!

Us Bolton boys had q top time. Rooms are very basic but they were suitable for our needs.  Pool bad n pool area are well gud, top food sold behind the bar.  probabliy the best barman in the whole world in PADLO  he is an absolute LEGEND, the the security guard George is one to ( hey shhhhhh be quiete)

we also met 5 of the best girls eva, the mad gordie lasess proper canny like!!!

Just come back and we stayed here.  Met the geordie lasses and they are ALL canny.

Christinas wasn't the best on first impressions 2 b honest,  but then u relaise how gud it is.  all u need it 4 is shower and bed, and even though its basic, it fits the bill.   Got a quality bool area and bar and Pablo is a LEGEND!!!!

We had a fantastic time at christina appts, this was our second time there and it was our honeymoon, very basic but as long as you've got a clean bed and hot water and of course the hot weather... 

Its only Stiffy Again bored at work right now. Mind wandering back to our holiday remembering christina is 5 minutes walk from the main strip but you have to walk the beach to get there so on your way home you can have a dip in the Med sea. the rooms are ok bog standard but clean. Yuo must hire a fan the shop down the road on arrival. If you get chance ask Spiros to show you his photo album it is a real eye opener. If i was going on holiday next year this would be the only place for me. I did mean what i said about gorgeous George he is a bit of an animal the longer you are there the more relaxed he gets, he is very protective over the christina due to the fact Spiros and his family live above the bar. We hired bikes buggies and quads and Spiros was quiet happy to lock them up for us. goodbye have to go and do some work now . STIFFY

We go every year (sumtimes twice a year), to Laganas and always stay @ Christina Apartments.  It is not very far away from the nightlife or restaurants.  If you come out of Christina and turn right walk down the road (literally 2 mins) there is a little supermarket there ran by an English girl called Sarah (shes mad!! tell her Kelly & Clair and family said hi) you can get your bottle water from there as you can not drink the tap water (too much minerals in the water and you would be spending most your hols on the toilet if you drink it).   They have a little bar also (can't remember the name - wicked cocktails though).  Down further on the right is a place called 'Georges Place', the food there is great and is only a 5 min walk.  Just down on the left as you get to the beach is another little bar which is quite good. Turn left as you get to the beach and right along the front of the beach is bars/restaurants and obviously litle beach shops.  The nightlife is only about a 10 min walk (depending how much you have to drink) - just be careful as you walk along the beach as there are quite a few potholes due to the beach being used as a road @ night by vehicles, so go careful!.  You will love it there I guarantee it!.   We stayed there September 2005 our apartment was in old block, could not use balcony  it was so over grown with banana trees and the room had a strange smell even though it was kept clean. Elaine

I stayed in the christina apartments 2 years ago and it was wicked! The apartments are ok just pretty basic, but the pool is gorgeous. Its right by the shops and it good distance of the clubs, just be careful when walking back as its up a quiet road. You will need mossy spray, i didnt get bitten but my mate did about 30 times!

We had a great holiday here. The owners were lovely, nothing was too much  trouble. Accomadation was basic but clean , we would return but dont forget the mossie spray.

Me and my dad had a gd time in Zante, the staff at the appartment was nice and freidnly, and had everyting we needed! (even a spare plug addaptor because we forgot mine! and when i dropped my perfume and it smashed they we on hand to help me clean it up!) all around id give my holiday 8/10, and if your looking for a excellent place to eat MED VERSION is the best, friendly staff, (Especially Alex) and the woman on the reception (soz cant remember ur name! ) shes lovely, she got long hair down to her legs u can miss her shes lovely! Me and Jo visited last week for the second time. The accommodation was brilliant. Everyone was really friendly. Perhaps Christos was a little too friendly to Martine!! The family are very welcoming and we will definately be coming back.  Thanks to Pablo and Christos for the champagne!!! just need the strawberries next time! (and the sex that pablo wanted!!) The pool bar has a great atmosphere whatever the weather or time. Good luck to Spyros and Effie with the baby!

me and my m8 went on august 28th for 2 weeks.thought the hotel was really good and made some wkd friends! soraya, tara, ann, andy were really great fun!not forgetting christos and pavlos.event though me and pavlos did hav r ups and downs! really want 2 c*m bk on 13th oct with ann and that!earnie the security guard from liverpool was great2!

Well what can i say i loved this place can't wait to go back was clean and fantastic value for money (bear in mind this is a 2* in greece you want 5* then you will have to pay the extra) . This is the kind of place you can go for a lively holiday or you are just of the beaten track enough not to have to do anything if you dont want ( the bar is the best place i think) the beach is only 5 mins away at the most Pavlos and Christio well they are brillant missing both of you and the cocktails already . Palvos just be careful who you mention muff diving in the pool to ( hehehe) i will be back next year with out fail (well if the hotel can deal with me again hehehe )

We were at the Christina on the 25th August til the 8th September.  We have been going for the last 9 years, it's just like going home to visit our Greek family!!  Spyros, Effie & little Christina are lovely people.  Nothing is too much trouble for them.  The apartments in the white building at the top of the complex are lovely.  The rooms at the bottom are very very basic but very clean.  Pavlos, well what can we say , he hasn't changed in the last few years....still mad but loverly lad!! Anyone out there remember the muff diving competition that Pavlos tried to arrange.  We are going back on the 13th October this year for a week hope there are some bars still open this late in the season (especially Kamikaze, can't wait to see Pete & Ilias who work there).  If any one is out there the same time as us, we will be at Spyros bar at 4:00pm on the 13th, downing our Mythos & Cocktails - LOOK OUT LAGANAS HERE WE COME!!!!

got back the other week, had a fab time!these were the nicest appartments ive stayed in in this kind of resort, they usually assume that young people don't mind if the rooms are rank but we do and these werent, they werenice and clean, the pool the gardens and the pool bar are all really nice too as are the family who run it, can't do enough for you!about 5 mins tops too the beach although you may wanna wander further along to get too the nice sandier bits and max of 10mins to the strip, there sum really nice resteraunts along the beach on the way too!all in all a fantastic holiday in a great place in lovely appartments................i wanna go back now!

I got back yesterday, the room i was in was nice! otfhers were complaing theres was too hot, ours was fine! 2 mins from the Laganas night life yet seemed peacefull and out the way!!! Loved Pavlos! great man!

Im 21 and stayed at the christina apartments for a week with my mate. We had such a good time, the location is perfect, about 10 min walk to beach, and its just around the corner from the main Laganas stip. The bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Its perfect if you want a relaxing holiday because its not too near the nightlife, but we eneded going out every night and had such a wicked time! There are soo many bars and clubs to choose from in laganas, and the bar at the apartments stays open intill everyone goes home.Im going back there in august i liked it so much!!

  I stayed at The Christina Apartments last July and had a brilliant time.  I originally went for a week with some mates, but liked it so much i decided to stay for a second week on my own!!  Spyros and the rest of the staff were fantastic, especially in the second week.  I'm planning on spending the whole of the Summer Hopping around the Greek Islands this year and will definitely be going back to stay at The Christina Apartments at some stage.

Do the apartments have safes inside? or in recpetion?

on arrival it was extremely hot 36 and a week later 41. it was value for money and the apartment was clean. we could have done with air conditioning but apparently the heat was unusual and we were able to hire a fan.

i thought using bathmats as towels were a bit unacceptable. the greek night was good. i think christina and her mother were pleasant enough. a fun lot were there when we went but although we did our own thing when we did see them all in the bar everyone was welcoming.

we were lucky sleeping at night because we were the furthest apartment away from the bar but i rose one morning at 7.30 and people were still in the bar. this may be why christina is sometimes short, they work hard in the summer as they cannot do so in the winter. the others that were there told us that christina was a lovely person.

people should look around for the best deals the accommodation varies here some have televisions and you might not necessarily pay more. i must say we went with kosmar - and we found the reps b***hy non-informative and non-helpful.

if you like luxury in your life i do not think zante is for you it is most primitive wherever you stay. it does however give you an insight as to how the greeks live.

Been going to Christina for 8 years, wouldn't stay anywhere else! Ok, the smaller studios are typically Greek (very basic). Spoke to alot of people over the years who have stayed in hotels in Laganas & from what i can gather there is not alot of difference in the rooms. Spyros & his family & Pavlos & Antony are really lovely people. And to make all you young girls out there envious we had the Greek god Antony the barman living with us for a while, while he was studying at university in Plymouth (wish i was 30 years younger!!). The complex is well looked after and the pool is Spyros' baby. Always clean and very welcoming for a cool off on a hot day. Effy can knock up good snack at reasonable prices. Pav & Ant do a brill cocktail (Mmmmmm). Going back in August 2005, can't wait....never know may see you at the bar for a drink.....or 3!! Feel free to email me if you want any advice etc....

Spent a week at Christina with my boyf. Checked out the comments here before we went and were quite excited as it seemed all good, but was slightly disappointed. The rooms in the old block weren't as bad as made out by some people last year and were cleaned almost every day, but have to say the room was a bit dark and dingy. Can't believe no one has commented on the noise - the walls are like paper! We were out til pretty late every night and therefore didn't want to get up at 8 o' clock like it seemed everyone else did, we could hear everything that was going on in the rooms around us - people using the toilet, coughing, crying babies, absolutley everything! The pool and bar were great though, can't fault them and Laganas was really good, the cheapest holiday I've had. The location of the apartments was nice and quiet but close to the beach and the strip, but it was a bit scary coming back along the main road in the dark as there's no street lights. Reckon the airport might put me off going back but all in all a quality holiday.

What can I say, what a lovely place. I'd definately stay here again. Lovely pool in a fantastic setting and even a Gym. Rooms were cleaned regularly and the staff were very welcoming. In a great spot, 2 mins walk from the beach and 5 mins to the main strip so was nice and quiet. No complaints at all

Hiya jo, there isnt any air conditioning, it would be useful in either taking a fan with you or renting 1 from the shop nearest to the appartments. If you have a night flight u have 2 check out in the morning at 12 but u can pay a supplement of £30 2 have a room till you get picked up. hope u have a lovely time like we did it is great. say hi 2 pavlos 4 us (the barman) (from mollie gordon n Jade)x

Stayed at Christina in July 2004 and thought the apartments were great. We met a nice family next door(Gordon, Molly and Jade) who have been to the apartments two years running. The owner Spyros and his family are excellent and there staff kept our room clean and tidy throughout our stay. I can highly recommend staying at Christina to anyone thinking of visiting the island, also the Zakfari is a must to anyone wanting to see a bit of the island!! Gordon l don't know what happened to that heatwave, it rained for two days after you left!

i loved everything about Zante, the rooms were small but they were clean and who the hell spends there holiday sitting in there room it just a place to sleep and get ready. the pool and pool bar were great and the people are fanastic i know people who have already been there like antony and he is very very very good looking and has a great memory but pavlos is just soooo sexy. i've been 3 times already and looking forward to going again nxt yr, so if u haven't already stayed here do, it will be one of your best holidays eva and dont forget keep your hands off pavlos he's mine!!

ok, ive read some the reviews below and want to summarise them for anyone thinking of stay in laganas and in christina apts:

1 - greece is a basic country generally, esp the islands, so if you want luxory then spend £400 a night in a london hotel ! if not, then expect the simplicity of a different lifestyle that is greece.

2 - laganas is a "lively" resort, so if you went there thinking it wasn't then you had a s**t travel agent. expect groups of lads / chicks getting beered up and generally partying until the early hours... however, the music all has to go off at midnight unless its a club with closed doors, so unless your right on the strip itself.....!!

3 - no, i personally wouldn't take my children to laganas (if i had any) im 29 and i have just got back from laganas staying at christina with my girlfriend (23).... i have done kavos and faliraki which have a better night life, but we both had a great time staying at christina. we were made to feel very welcome, and i understand it has been "done up" recently.... there were young familys/couples/groups of lads and girls etc... and there was no trouble at all... (even with the euro 2004 on with greece winning)

the apartment was cleaned every other day and the swimming pool and bar/food was excellent for the money. there was also a fitness suite there with weights and stuff.... but no air con :(

it was right near the beach, and a nice distance (10 mins) away from the nite life if you need to get away from it...

i can seriously recommend the "absolute" and "ostria" to eat at along the beach front.... food is ***** and very reasonable, you will walk past both of them on your way to the strip.

final points....

do visit the kamikaze bar for great cocktails for 2 euros !
do not do the beach party at cameo island for 40 euros each coz its s**t and a waste of money
do not come to laganas if you only like dance music... its mostly cheesey stuff (apart from zero's) and r n b in "bad boys" - spend your money in ibiza instead.. !
do buy mozzy repelents the plug into the wall, trust me, mozzy's can really fuk your holiday up :(... i would not have swapped our apartment for any other in laganas.... i have some pics if anyone wants some more info :)

Stayed in Christina appts in October 2003. The guys who run the place are all great, and the appartments themselves are just far enough away for a quiet night sleep but walking distance onto the main strip if ya don't mind walking along the beach!

bit late! went last year but was fantastic. went 15th june for two weeks not enough time though! the apartments and complex were superb!!!!! went with family going again in about a months time!!!! would defiently rec to every1. top of the pops was brill and gonna go again hopefully with moll jade and abbie if she c*ms n maybe meet sum people up for a laff. missing katherline, alan, rosie n jim, abbie, ian n lou and the stafffff and cute little christina. george's restaurant was tasty friendly and lively.

My best mate and I were at the Christina Apts from 15th - 22nd June we had been 2 years b4 and liked it so much we decided to go back (mainly to c Anthony!) We had a brilliant time, can't undertstand these people slagging the rooms off, they must have had a boring holiday if they spent so much time in their rooms to worry about them that much! Rooms are basic but we spent most of our time round the pool or at the bar. Anthony is the best barman in the world I don't know how many free drinks we had coz he recognised us! What can I say about the rep except gorgeous and very friendly well done JMC for recruiting such a great bloke!!

Came back from these apartments on 19/10/2003 and had probably the worst holiday experience ever! The rooms were dirty, tried to open the fridge and the door fell off, a pane of glass fell out of the window when tried to open that, had to clean the shower before could get in it and to top everything off, the beds were so horrid I had an allergic reaction to them and had to have a steroid injection to clear it up! The only highlight was Anthony behind the bar who kept us smiling!

I was in the old block and I didnt think the rooms were bad at all, they were just right for what we paid. they were cleaned every 2 days so was never dirty. It was the best holiday so far although the rooms were small it didnt really bother us cause we were on holiday not to spend time in rooms all day

Cannot believe I was staying in the same place as all of you that have given "Excellent" comments about this place - I can only imagine that you were staying in the newer block. We were there this past two weeks and have never stayed anywhere quite like it - not 3 star, not clean, hols in walls, not what was in the brochure at all. During our stay, every new arrival to the block complained and a few got moved. Zante was great and its people great but please someone get real about the crap accomodation and mention that before some other porr sod gets ripped off

If you are a couple or family hoping for a quiet relaxing break in good standard appartments then sorry you are going to be really disappointed! My wife and I stayed in Aug 03 in one of these appartments, it was vary basic, dirty, old (fridge knackered, little storage, small dirty shower / toilet). It was like a club 18-30 holiday with young lads having a party outside our room at 12.30 / 1am. Positive side is that the pool and bar is ok! We lasted one night here before transferring ourselves (Thomas Cook unable to find us quiet location!) to Alykanas (go here its much better!). Laganas by the way is a dump and it has to be the worst place ive ever been, avoid it all all costs, no way are the best beaches to be found here! It is just a place to get drunk which is ok if thats what you want! Zante is ok but beware the airport, what a farce when you land and leave, long queues in the heat!

only 1 thing need's to be said about the christina apartments and that is that they were probarly the best on the island pity you have to come home to the rain. A tip for anybody going with a partner if your going up the strip don't drink 2 much what ever time of day it is you'll just get unwanted hassel (trust me i know)hope every1 who was there at the same time as us is well

Stayed at Christina from 19th june - 3rd July with four friends. Had an absolutely brilliant time!!! The Apartments were great and Phil the rep was a good laugh. Defo going back in August.

Stayed at the Christina Apts for 2 weeks in July 2003 and had the best holiday ever! We had rooms in the older block which were very basic and old but clean, maid service every other day with clean bedding and towels. Think it would be a bit of a nightmare to have 3 in a room and the camp beds are very squeeky. All the staff were very friendly, Antony and Pavos are great fun (Antony is the original Tom Cruise in Cocktail...swooon!). Pool Bar is very reasonable for snacks and drinks compared to the restaurants and bars and stays open until...well...till the last person leaves (most nights it was between 3-4am). Apts in an ideal location - 2 mins walk from the beach and 5 mins walk to the main strip (be warned for those wearing heels, you have to walk down the beach to get to the bars unless you take a taxi which is only about 5 euros). Phil (AKA Trevor) the Rep (another gorgeous bloke) was brilliant and done his utmost to ensure we had a great holiday under some bad circumstances which could not be helped. Phil also gave some good tips for great days out and different places to visit away from the main srip on a night. Had no complaints (apart from a leaking fridge which was fixed the day we reported it) and would deffo go back there again...10 out of 10!

Brilliant holiday. Everybody was really friendly. Only bad bit was having to come home!!! Hope we all keep in touch cu in 2005. And Jade... keep off the wine!!!!(Joking)

yea I agree wiv ya Iain we did av a great laff, its da perfect holiday
for every1 at all ages. the lilo olympics were funny lol and we ad a
gr8 night at the totp2 which is where all the jmc reps do a
performance, its 35 euro's but worth the money and even the free
flowing wine wasnt bad afta a couple of glasses lol. our rep phil was
gr8 fun and ended up gettin soaked weneva e came down round our pool
lol. It was a gr8 holiday n were defin8ly goin bck again. ohh and b
sure 2 visit da f1 go karts in kalimaki they was fun 2!!! ohh and dont
4get the mc donalds iain! they were yummy lol wana chip!

Me and my girlfreind were in the apartments from the 15th of june till the 30th 2003 and thought that it was the best holiday ever every1 was really freindly and pavlo and antony's antic's at night were a great laugh after a night up the strip.We would recomend these apartments 2 any1 of all age's and we'll be back in the summer of 2005 2 try out for the lilo olympic's (any1 who was there at the same time will know what i mean)if your there have a look for the american football that mysterialy disappeared?

Stayed at Christina for a week in June. It is a family run, very friendly. pool was lovely not to busy! Bar stayed open till late (till the last person went to bed!!) ep from JMC was great (well fit!!!) Am 24 and went for the night life but it would be great for families. 9but iwishes someone had warned me about the AIRPORT!!!

Stayed here for two sunny weeks in May 2002. On the whole the apartments are clean and very basic and in the main child friendly. First time ever we spent loads of time lazing by the pool the landscaping is so pretty...very enticing. It has an open pool policy which we found out when a large gang of Swedish youths descended for 4 days and took over, eventually Spiros banned them but took him a while and there was a general feeling that he did not have his paying guests at heart. The majority of places in Greece do have an open pool policy.....bear in mind if you have kids because there could be that 18-30 element!

We're off to the christinas and will arrive on the morning of the 5th of May with 2 kids aged 5 and 9 for a week.

These appartments are best we have stayed in laganas lovely pool, very clean, rooms were cleaned every 2 days the whole time we were there the place is a credit to the owners we would stay there again any time and kate if you read this thanks for a great holiday

The apartments are very basic.But i imagine they all are in greece.The pool was very good though and the set up of the pool area was cool. Bar facilities are good also and the people friendly.ALL IN ALL I WOULD GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went in May 2001, our third time at the Christina apartments, and we love it, its a great place, not far from the beach, the people are lovely, and the bar snacks are great!! Looking forward to going back next year.

Just about to book a holiday in Laganas for July. I am a bit worried about staying in apartments, although they would by ideal because my friends and I would like to go self catering. Can anybody tell me what apartments are like in Laganas because I am a bit apprehensive about staying in them, particularly because of cleanliness and the lack of facitlities.

Located few hundred yards from the beach, however the main strip is another few hundred yards along the beach. This section of the beach is narrow and in the evening is used by cars etc. Pool and bar area very good with a separate pool for children sited away from the main pool. Apartments are very basic. Rooms have 2 single beds and for extra adults/children staying in the room there are very squeeky camp beds, fridge with freezer compartment, if you want to cook you will find a plug in 2 hob camper cooker. During our weeks stay the rooms were only cleaned twice and that included emptying the toilet bin.

Christina Apts are a fanatastic place to stay, away from the main strip so peaceful, but not far to walk to the shops and bars. The Poolside bar is mellow during the day and gets quite lively at night. Bar snacks are good, and you have to drink the Mythos Beer - its good! The rooms are clean and basic, plenty of hot water for showers and towels and sheets changed every couple of days. If you want to know about good places to visit on the island, talk to Spiros, Christos and Pavlos, who will give you all sorts of useful information and ideas. We had a great time there - thanks to everyone there for making it a holiday to remember.

Me and my friends have just got back from Zante. The Christina Apartments were excellent accomodation, peace and quiet if you were recovering from the nite before. The staff are friendly and are willing to help in any way they can. I would definately go back to these apartments.

We went to the Christina pool every day. It was so beautiful and lovely. We'd get there about 1/2 and stay til 8. If you want a sun lounger in the shade, you need to get there early. Yummy tuna, mayo and lettuce sandwiches.

Staying here meant that Zante had 3 personalities - mellow and exotic at Christina during the day, elegant and delicious on the (very close) beach in the evening and absolutely off its bollox on the main strip when the sun went down. Christina was an excellent place to recover from the night before. Recommend the beans on toast from the bar. Get your sunbed early though - a few too many people for the amount of beds provided.

Can you tell me if the Christina Apartments has air conditioning and if not are there fans you can hire?

We stayed in the Christina Appts in July 2001. Just got back this weekend in fact. The whole complex is quality, quiet enough in the day by the pool and only 10 mins walk to the town along the beach. Great staff at the hotel, really friendly and approachable. Highly recommend!!!

We were at the Christina in early May and found the whole place delightful. Just far enough from the buzz of Laganas proper to enable you to have a bit of peace and quiet but a pleasant 10 min stroll along the beach to be in the centre of things. Cristos and Spiros who run the Christina are brilliant and Spiros daughter ( Christina, about 10 months old) is beautiful. Try to get accomodation in the newer block above the pool if you can as the older appts are a little tired by comparison. Don't hesitate. You will love it.

Christina Apartments are in an ideal location, friendly atmosphere and very clean pool. Or if you want a change just a couple of mins from the beach. Nightlife..Rescue's Barmen*!*!*!*! are the best on the island. If you want a drink try the Christos Special.
