stayed at the hotel from the 23 july to the 6 august,there were 10 of us (bristol babes)!if you were there at that time get in contact. had a wicked time and id love to go back, christo and dennis behind the bar are brilliant and neil the rep is always up for a laugh! pedro is the only t**t there, although he does make a good laugh at the end of your night. that rude song is apparently sung by adam sandler, but dont no the name sorry.

did anyone else hear the song played by the pool, really dirty lyrics? for example, "shave my pubes and punch me in the face" etc, we really want to find out the name of this song!!

on the 2nd day i ...jumped onto broken glass barefoooted = stitches all over feet,

well weve been back off our hols 4 nearly 2 wks now and its sooo depressing!! ive got 2 say that zante is definitly the best place 4 a great holiday!! we stayd in hotel tzante (its actually pronounced hotel jante!!) the rooms are small and basic and u dont get a shower curtain but its really clean. the hotel has a great pool bar and pool. mamma and pappa (the owners) are really friendly,theyre always about if you need them. dennis and christof are great 2, they work behind the bar. the reps linzi (lipstick), leanne (colgate), neil and andy are so funny and always up 4 a laugh!!theres loadza free barcrawls 2 go on!! if u turn left outa the hotel theres the beach and a few shops and bars and if u turn right outa the hotel theres a massive strip of bars, niteclubs, shops and restaurants!!! theres a mc donalds about 2 doors away, the food and drink is so cheap so a night out doesnt normally cost that much!! the best bars are badboys, walkabout, waikiki & cherry bay, and the best nite clubs are definitly zeros and rescues!! theres a good sports bar just opposite the hotel callt the must bar.

Hi All, should have wrote earlier, stayed for two weeks from the 18th Sept 02. Had a great time, agree the hotel roome are a bit basic, but thet are only for sleeping and things. Mama, Papa, Al and Christo made us most welcome. Bar-B-Que night super got very drunk playing pool with Christo afterwards. Not bad for a 48 year old. who says its only the young that now how to have a good time. Can't get back this year but will next.

Lynsey & Steve, The breakfast is the old bread, cheese and plastic ham (which i dont mind) but if your looking for a good breakfast go to Hotlips Bar, Tracey (who is from the UK) and her husband (who is from cyprus) are great and is by far the best breakfast I have had out there and i have had many. i enjoyed every minute of the holiday it was brill!! One of the best hotels we've stayed in. very friendly people. shame about the weather but that couldn't be helped. didn't want to come home!!

Not the greatest hotel, this was the only down side of the holiday. Rooms are very small, weird shower. No choice at breakfast, just bread, egg, ham or cheese and your tea or coffee. Family run hotel - Mama was OK, however Papa is quite grumpy and never smiles. The location was great, beach is only about 1 minute walk and all bars/clubs etc are right on your doorstep. Would not stay here again - actually the hotel opposite looked quite nice, so might try that one if I ever go back - which I will as overall the holiday was great.

We stayed in Tzante for 2 weeks at the begining of Sept..we were not impressed at all!! The owners were extremely rude & grunted at us occasionally. Our room was awful..grubby stained sheets, flea ridden beds with springs digging into our backs..half the bulbs were missing..towels were practically rags. The standard of any cleaning was diabolical! We've been to a few Greek islands & are aware the rooms are basic, but I think the hotel room here was just appaling..was glad to get home.

Enjoyed every minute here the family who run it and work in it are wonderful and the maids clean the rooms very well everyday. It is a brilliant location to everything you couldn't ask for anything more from a hotel deffinately best in the area by a long way, better than any that our friends stayed at.

Ops thats better the thumbs are up for this one.

Anyone wishing to got to this hotle next year, I have hunted high and low on the Aspro Hoiidays and it is no longer there, instead it is no Escapades with Airtours as it was 6 years ago. I have a great then and last year. Will see you there from 16th july next for two, on our honeymoon. I have been going to zakynthos for over 9 years now and loved every time. . Hi i came back from Zante on the 14 Aug for the second year. stayed at the Hotel Tzante witch is so nice i highly recomend it its on the main rd with the clubs an bars to the right an the beach to left a min walk. The pool an bar is wicked with the main man Al its a family run hotel an they r always about to look after u. Like it says in every room give them 10% they will give u 100%. Its hard to leave the hotel at all! with the pool durin the day, And at night all the latest films are sceened at the front of the hotel on a large outsde sceen!! I was there with my g/f it was the best 2 weeks of my life close to the 2 weeks that i was in zante last year but this hotel makes it that much more specail THANX any 1 from Tzante Hotel luv to hear from u email me also any 1 that stayed there 29 july - 14 Aug?????

Just came back from Hotel Tzante and it was a lovely place. Facilities are basic but the pool is nice as is the pool bar which is also an Internet cafe. Alkis and Christoph are really friendly and Mamma really looked after us. The weekly barbeque on Monday was nice and you could eat as much as you like. This place is only 2 minutes walk from the beach, right in the centre of everything and next door to a fantastic Chinese restaurant (Bee Garden) with McDonald's 4 doors up the road.

Got back on 30 May (a day late as flight cancelled - such a shame....) Had a wicked time - agree with everything Hannah said about the staff, especially about Christo and Al who are a bit special. It was pretty noisy at night (until about 12), but as we didn't see much bed at all when we were there, it didn't matter - the pool bar will stay open all night if you want it to. Excellent location, near all the best bars, shops and restaurants. Room basic but OK. To sum up, I would dearly love to go again in September, but my partner wants to try somewhere new...

just got back, the hotel is fab, real close to beach, bang in centre of nightlife... mama and papa are great-the owners-and the bar would be nothing without christo and al!!!!!!!! and of course-having sssshhhh!!!! from elton every night! seriously tho, facilities leave a bit to be desired, but the overall fantastic feel of hotel more than compensate, enjoy!!

How far is the hotel situated from the Town centre and the beach?

Tzante Hotel is well good. Just got back - didnt want to leave! Its dead central without being too noisy - it doesnt matter though as you will probably be out making the noise rather than sleeping ! Pool area is very nice but a nightmare in the afternoons as it is a sun trap and no air circulates - the beach is better because of the breeze. I would definately go again!

Gary the rooms do not have a kitchen as it is a hotel and they offer you bed and breakfast.

We went 28 june - 12 july 2001, and it was excellent. The hotel is really clean, but our room was a bit on the small side. However for the amount of time we spent in them we were not bothered. The staff are really friendly. The pool is situated on the side of the hotel, not the front and is very clean. The food and the drink is very cheap. We did not experience any noise from the streets, but we could hear music from the pool side bar. The hotel is situated about a minute from the beach, and is right on the doorstep of the nightlife. They have a weekly barbacue on a monday which is very popular. I would stay in this hotel again. Laura Cragg

Do the rooms have kitchens, i.e. cooker/fridge??

Didn't notice any smell and the pool is not at the front of the hotel. Generally nice but be prepared not to get any sleep as it can get very noisy. Very sexy barman called Dennis who works in the pool bar but he's a bit of a male slag! Be warned, our room was tiny and the shower facilities leave a lot to be desired!!

Jenni - Pool area is very nice and situated in front of the hotel, overlooking the main road. Plenty of sunbeds etc., and pool bar.

I would like to know what the pool and other facilities at the Tzante are like as i can't find find any mention of the hotel anywhere
