Garden Palace Apts

Just returned from the Garden Palace, 24th Sept - 1st Oct, Me and my GF loved it, hotel was nice, room wasbasic (room 15), bed is small and uncomfy, im 6ft67 and m,y shins were hanging off the end, resting on the wooden frame,  although its self catering you couldnt cook anything in the room, one ring hob and a few plates is all you get but the snack bar does some great food and I would also recommend Garden of Eden or Longhorn restaurants.

Just got bac me and 4 mates stayed at the garden palace it was mint, its in a great location not to far from the beach if you wanna go down there.the pool is quite small but its clean and you get a good mix of people staying there,The staff there are very friendly yannis is mint and his brother akis is fun to.The bar is open 24hours thats good for thoses who like a drink like us.defo would go bac even if it was just to see yannis again. We loved it cant pick fault with anything we would recommend it to most. 

We have just got back from Zante. The holiday was lovely, however we were the ones staying in room 103. On arrival we were told that the room maybe not be ready, when we walked in apparently it was ready hmmm. We were situated on the ground floor apartment, we had asked not to be. The balcony is very open to eveyone else walking in, the view, is, well of a generator.

The staff were all lovely, especially Denise denise and the guy who i'm guessing owned it (Yannis maybe) who happily chatted to us even though we were talking drunken crap at 5am. Not quite so sure on Peter- never trust a guy who wears white shiny shoes.

Hey to anyone that remembers the Oxford girls (we don't have ponies or go to uni there) and all the people we stayed with-sunburned girl (i hoep it'sbetter now), the northern lads whose human pyramids were pretty poor  and the messy haired esses girls who hated us!!

Just got back from Garden Palace, clean big rooms,lovely pool area,friendly family owners,great location, do i need to say anymore what a great holiday we have had. Well having visted the garden palace last year with my partner (now fiance) we found the hotel to be clean, tidy, relaxed and chilled out. The family who own it are kind, polite and a good laugh (esp at 5 in the morning i hear) as far as been biased towards lads well in my opinion thats codswallop a load of rubbish. If people treated them with a little more respect then they would get the same back, puzzles me how people can go into someone else's house/business and trash other peoples stuff. (Would you do it at home?)

Hello Me and six of my friend visited the Garden Palace on the 9th of july for one week and it was the best time of me life, the room we stayed in was room 20 and the other part of the party stayed in 22. The party included Kate, Dexter's Labortory Haley Sue and Stingray!! The main strip from where we stayed wasnt that far but i suggest on your way down pop into Rumours and say Hello cos its great for cocktails and shots (free!!) always a bonus. The beach was fab aswell. Back to Yianni's and the crew they are the best ever, they did everything they could to make our stay there a one to remember. As for Pete he is so nice very good looking aswell!! We'll i hope to visit that place again cos it was just fab.

hey!!!!!!!the garden palace is the best place to stay!!!!!!!!!!!!! me and  my friend stayed  from the 4th of june to the 18th this year n it was the best holiday ever, the staff couldnt of  been any nicer(especially u pete).  we loved it so much that weve just booked up to go again on the 9th of july for a week.  so pete if u read this we'll be popping round to see ya. the bars n clubs are close enough and the beach is only minutes away!!we stayed in room 20 n it was the biggest n best room there and was always kept very clean by the maid!anyway, anyone who is goin to the garden palace you will have the best holiday ever, the staff are brilliant!!!  see ya soon guys xxxxx

FOR ANYONE WHO HAS READ THE COMMENTS ABOUT THE SMELL FROM THE SINK IN ROOM 103, WHILE WE WERE THERE MY DAD FIXED IT! ALL IT NEEDED WAS THE SOFT FLEXI PIPE UNDER THE SINK BENDING BACK INTO A U SHAPE SO SOME OF THE WATER STAYS IN THE BEND TO STOP THE SMELL COMING BACK UP! JOB DONE. SMELL GONE. IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PEOPLE.

well i suppose the main strip is a little more than a 5 min walk more like 10 but it was really bustling from about 10.30 not that i was able to get involved, the holiday we had this time was more for the kids, which they enjoyed, the beach is excellent and  there are quite a few parks for them to play on including an adventue park with a big pirate ship in a complex along the beach. debbie.

Hi, i was part of a family group of  7 staying at the garden palace from 11th to 18th june we stayed in rooms 103 & 105. I just want to say that we all had a fantastic time and the family and staff that work there were lovley, the maid came 3 times in the week we were there and the whole place was kept spotless. The location was ideal, just 5 mins from the beach and the same from the main strip. Loads of places to eat, including the garden palace itself,  which serves up a fantastic breakfast which is fab value for money. I am so sad to be back here in england where the weather is poor for this time of year, i can't wait to get back there, i love the greek people, the food, and the atmosphere, i may have to do myself a shirley valentine and go back on my own to see if i can bag myself a handsome man like the young one behind the bar. hee,hee. its a 5 minute walk to the main strip and the rooms are kept nice and clean we've been there twice and are going back next year its really nice and so are the people. c ya all soon x x

THIS WAS OUR SECOND TIME  STAYING AT THE GARDEN PALACE,WE TRIED TO GET THIS YEAR BUT THEY WERE FULLY BOOKED. WE HAVE BOOKED FOR THIS YEAR AT A CLOSE BY ACCOMODATION , BUT WE WILL BE VISITING .

Been to the Garden Palace twice the staff are really friendly and helpful.We spent many a late night at the bar with yannis.Playing bingo and pool competitions.

loved it ther ive been twice i met some great people ther. Yannis you and your family were great and you served lovely food especially breakfasts they wer lush. I'll be back there

garden palace is a great place, yannis and his family are great they are friendly with u if u are friendly with them. they are a great laugh i spent many nites in the bar til early hours of the morning chattin to them.

how could you of stayed in room 103 we were in there for the first two weeks of september,the shower did flood,the sink did smell!!!! 

JUST TO PUT THE RECORD STRAIGHT FOR ANYONE STAYING AT GARDEN PALACE - THEY ARE NOT DIRTY AND THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH ROOM 103!!! WE STAYED THERE FIRST WEEK IN SEPTEMBER THE SHOWER NEVER ONCE FLOODED THE FLOOR AND THERE WAS NO SMELLS COMING FROM SINK, TOWLES WERE CHANGED TWICE IN THE WEEK WE WERE THERE!! OWNERS WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND MADE OUR STAY ENJOYABLE, WOULD RECOMMEND

We stopped at the GP the last 2 weeks of August. We had a fab time. We were made to feel very welcome and would not hesitate to return here again. There was a good crowd in both weeks we were there and most people got on with one another.  The food in the GP is very good and the girls work very hard. The pool is excellent and kept clean. The GP is also in a great location with plenty of good places to eat and drink.  The strip in my opinion isn't worth the walk.

Hi can anyone confirm the position of the Garden Palace. there is a map on the rescue club site that a lot of laganas visitors are using but still quite a few of the hotels are not named. www.rescueclub.net/Rescue%20Guide.htm Ikoris hotel is number 15 (apparently near the garden palace) The TO's state many different walking times to the beach from 4 minutes to 12 minutes. if you know any others that are not named on the list could you please pass these on as well.. Well what can i say we hated it at the garden palace, i was mucky the first day that we got there. We went 4 days without clean towels and when we did get them after the four days, it was only because we had asked for them 3 times!! We didnt feel welcomed by the bar staff either, two weeks of dirty looks, made us feel uncomfortable. Also the shower in our room flooded the whole bathroom everytime we used it, and the smell under the sink was awful, my advice is not to stay at this hotel:(103 DONT STAY IN THIS ROOM!

Hey just back from garden palace! wanted to stay wasn't going to come home! Greatplace staff so friendly loved the pants of pete behind the bar he was fab! Spent most of the time at the bar till breakfast time it never closes it was great! Can't wait to go back next year will deffinetly be going back! Loved yous all x x x x x

absolutely loved garden palace, i want to go back!!! was there for two weeks in mid july and all i did was sit at the bar with pete, yanni & akos til the small hours of the morning. they made our family feel really welcome and helped me when i got food posioning on my first night!! lovely people!! location is just right! i'll be back there as soon as i can!!

We stayed at The Garden Palace during our trip to laganas at the end of July.  It is an excellent place to stay, it is in a good location both for the beach and for the main strip.

 the garden palace is where we sat in the bar till 7:30am some days the bar just never closes!!! the family who run it are fantastic they'll do anything for you. The geordie girls on tour 10th july 2005 definatley have the best memories from this holiday!!!

we are going to the garden palace at the end of august.  we have been to laganas twice before but never stopped in the gp, however we used there facilitys regularly.  yannis and his family have always treated us with respect and curtesty.  we are looking forward to finally stopping there and we are going as a family group with an age range of 14 - 69.  my husband liam will be celebrating his 40th birthday whilst we are there and i know we will have a great time.  as for peter being a p**ve - he's young greek and in the travel industry, if he ignored the "ladies" he would have a slagging off as well!

i thought zante was brilliant i went with my boyfriend n our friends, we stayed at garden palace apts and not got a bad word to say about them the family that run it were very friendly and yannis was very funny. His nephew (dont remember his name)is a bit wierd tho rite flirt didnt like him very sleazy but other than that it was great.

these apartments are poodum. the owner yiannis is a miserable little man and if he doesnt like the look of you he treats you like poodum as he did with some people i spoke to. the rooms are rarely cleaned and bins are emptied rarely which is bad as the bin is in your bathroom and your used toilet paper has to go in this and stinks your room out. the young lad behind the bar peter loves himself and from what i seen is a bit of a p**v in my opinion. would never go back here as i went in other appartments which were much better by far and closer to the main area.

Weve just got back from garden palace and it was really nice. Who ever goes you'll have a good time. Pete is very fit behind the bar by the way

Going to garden palace on the 10th of july this year with my mate both 18  just woundering if there is any one else going the same age (must be female) lol .  

i have just arrived home from Garden Palace , Lagnas. it was very clean , and the staff were great  very friendly . we went to bon - voyage , tina, and the waiters were fantastic ,nothing was to much trouble.

HAD A BRILLIANT TIME AT GDN/PL APTS. BEEN THERE TWICE RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY.ITS LOCATED IDEALLY, 10 MINS FROM STRIP AND 5-10 MINS FROM THE BEACH.THE APTS ARE REALLY CLEAN AND FRIENDLY,THERE SNACK BAR IS IDEAL 4 DURING THE DAY BUT THE BEST RESTAURANT OF ALL IS THE COUNTRY REST. JUST NEXT DOOR TO THE APTS. VERY REASONABLE.TRY LAMB/BEEF ZANTE STYLE WASHED DOWN WITH A MYTHOS(LOCAL BEER) BOTH WILL ONLY SET U BACK ABOUT 6 EUROS. YES ABOUT £4. 4 A MEAL N A BEER.LAGANAS IS IDEAL HOL 4 EVERY1. U CAN EVEN SWIM WITH TURTLES IN THE SEA.BUY A SNORKEL AND A LILO U CAN SEE THE TURTLES 4 FREE!!!!!!!!BEST HOL EVER!

WE STAYED IN THE GARDEN PALACE SEPT 12TH THIS YEAR AND THOUGHT IT WAS FANTASTIC.THE ROOMS WERE HUGE AND ALWAYS CLEAN.THE STAFF ARE REALLY FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS WILLING TO MAKE CHESSE TOASIES IN THE EARLY HOURS OF THE MORNING(THANKS YANNIS).THE POOL IS ALWAYS CLEAN,AND ITS NOT TO FAR FROM THE STRIP FOR THE EVENINGS.WE HAD A FANTASTIC HOLIDAY AND MADE FRIENDS WILL A LOVELY COUPLE (HI KELLY AND RICHY!!!!)WHO WE ARE GOING AWAY WITH AGAIN NEXT YEAR.CANT WAIT!!!!!

What a fab hols, hi to yanos, haven't spelt that right i know, but myself and rich had a great time, met some kewl peeps out there, big shout to the gorgeous kelly and to rich too......wicked wicked wicked, food was yummy, hotel room was fine, no probs...could use a little more of a shower curtain tho, would defo go back again

I cannot describe the smell in room 103. Yani and family could not smell it, what does that say about them. I was physically sick every time i went into bathroom. All I got was abuse and threats when I confromted so- called hosts. Had to use room next door (thankfully a family members)just to have a No 1. all I got from mine hosts was abuse and filthy looks. They even tried to break patio door and wanted me to pay 300 euros for damage - ha ha good job I'm a locksmith!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Wouldn't reccomend these apartments for to an enemy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How come if you want a last minute hol to Laganas every travel agent offers you Garden Tip (where did palace come from? Tip - go to the Sorrento!!!!

my family stayed there in may 2004 in room 103, nice room but the bathroom had a very, very disgusting smell. My 3 year old daughter refused to use the bathroom, and occasionally vomitted, as did my husband. the so called hosts refused to speak to us after we made complaints several times and are the most arrogant, spiteful people in Laganas. We have been to Laganas 4 times now but will not be returning again.. Even the childrens pool had human excrement in it for 2 days and the owners wouldn't do anything about it. all we got was abuse from them. I think a health and safety rep from kosmar should visit and I'm sure they wouldn't use Gargen Palace again. They should use the Sorrento - brilliant hosts and very very clean apts with no smells!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Hello Yannis and eveyone hope your all well thank you very much you all made our holiday very enjoyable. I stayed for a week with my daughter Rebecca (Becki), my mother and my brother Lewis. We stayed while the 16 from The Feathers were there!!!! Its a fantastic hotel with fantastic staff and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Will definately be back next year!! We stayed at the Garden Palace from the 19th Sep 04. The apartments were clean and comfortable and the pool was lovely.
BUT... We felt that we were under scrutiny everytime we went out. We were made to feel that we should be staying at the bar and spending our money there.
This was made worse by the fact that you had to hand in your keys at the bar and collect tham when you arrived home, which was a bit uncomfortable to say the least.
The two brothers certainly have a big chip on their shoulders and should learn to chill out and let their customers do what they want, when they want without fear of reprisals. If you left a light on then the light police would arrest you in the morning! Just try and drink a bottle of water bought off site and the food and drink police will have you.
To the two brother`s. "Get a life" and cheer up it may never happen.
They were fine as long as you were spending your money in their bar, but hey we came to see the island, not spend two weeks in the Garden Palace.

We Stayed in Garden Palace in August 03 and it was absolutely fantasic! It was by far the most enjoyable holiday of all. All the staff made it so memorable! We av been there twice now for a total of three weeks n id definately go back again!
The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped! The pool is excellent and well maintained.
Its a great place to take ur kids as the staff are brilliant with them, my two loved yannis hackis peter and dennise!
If u want a holiday to remember i wud definately reccomend garden palace. ul suprise ur self how much u enjoy it!
