Hey everyone at Castaways!

We went there everynight and are hating having to cook now we're back home!

food very good, we tried others but kept going back. staff are fantastic a nice atmosphere.

This has gotter be one of the best resturants in argassi the staff are brilliant exspecially Stuart. The food is always very nice cant fault it one bit. We always come back to the castways at least twice when we are in argassi because the food is so good. The food i had when i went was the hickory chicken this is very nice its a piece of chicken with bacon and cheese melted on top you can also have it with bbq sauce but i found the sauce a bit to strong as im not a bbq sauce fan. Hope all staff enjoy the reast of the season and im sure ur see most of us next year take care.

castaways def best place to eat in argassi, katie, vicky, sarah and loren were very friendly and helpful, greek food was to die for yum especially the pastichada!  big portions so make sure your hungry!!

I returned from Argassi last Tuesday and can honestly say it is the best holiday i have ever had and we will be returning next June.

Deff worth a try!

because hes a fussy eater and the staff r fantastic

I have just returned from Zakynthos, I tried Castaways once but the food was lukewarm and oily - mostly English staff and english food.

Cant wait to feed our faces in Castaways in May (from 17th).  Totally loved everything we tried - including all the bottles of vino!  Stu - are you gonna be there this year - wee cutie!

Didn't go to Castaways until our 4 th night but after a few recommendations we went and it was well worth the wait!

We ate here twice and both meals were great. There's a small play area for children and proper highchairs. Fast service and all the staff very helpful

Loved it went there twice, get the fajitas - they dont just taste good they look good when they come out! (you will know what i mean if you have been there)

Nice food I had Lamb Kleftico which was lovely my Fiance had the chicken Barbecue style. Watched the lighting the fajitas which was great. Nice friendly staff

Once again had many an excellant meal here think between us we have worked our way through the menu on the many occassions we ate here,  their sizzling fajitas are out of this world!!! and there is a lovely little play area for the kids to play in to keep them occupied.

Great place. Excellent food, well presented and good value for money.

ey up everyone from castaways!! i love the food here with the amazing greek and english chefs (Tony, chris, rodge and everyone else!) , the staff are very friendly and i love it there! i recomend you try everything!

Castaways is by far the best place for food in argassi. All the staff were excellent. You must definately go here.... the food was lovely, the price was excellent and the PR Stu was really friendly and helpful.

Me and  my husband  and my lad ate there nearly every night ,could not fault anything , the staff were brill, the service even better. Recommend it to anybody who's going to Argassi for the first time.

 Food at castaways was x lent, Meat pizza  castaways burger Chicken  cannot complain about food or prices, do anything for a burger now 

never had a bad meal yet!! castaways is a great resturant,  2nd year we've been to argassi and have eaten in castaways both years for quite a few days of our holiday.  the best place to eat in argassi! - and funnily enough none of us have ever got food poisoning!!

Really great location. Welcome before we even entered was fantastic. Loved the palm trees and outside area. Staff were wonderful; it was great to have british and greek staff. Very enjoyable meal!

Had a great atmosphere. Were so helpful when we came in with a table of about twenty! All the staff were very cool and they got to know who we were im sure... the Scottish!! Any way a brilliant place to be and the fajitas were impressive. Liked it v much. xxx

All staff were brilliant stu keeps brits up to date with news, tried other restaurants but kept going back to castaways.  Beef stifado excellent and Lamb kleftiko superb chef even shared his recipe so i could still enjoy it at home.  by far best place to eat in argassi.

   Castaways was the best restaurant that we visited in Argassi. We tried to sample a different one each night, Castaways is the only one we went to more than once! Very friendly staff, delicious food (Cajun chicken is great), and mouth-watering banofee pie!  Say Hi to Stu, he does a fantastic job welcoming you to the rooftop restaurant, not hassling you or chasing you down the street like some others(Peter). Try it once and you'll be sure to go back to try another delicious dish.

Definately the best restaurant in Argassi. Food was always excellent. Staff very polite and cheerful and prices very reasonable.

We went to Argassi in May 2006 and this is the restaurant that we ate most regulary the food was fantastic,try one of the greek dishes eg Lamb,Beef, you wont be disappointed, good prices,clean and really friendly staff,

Castaways is a great resturant, we agreed that we had our best meals there, everyone is really friendly and i would definatley recommend it to anyone.

We ate here in May 2006 - great food and a great setting. We tried the greek food - Lamb Kleftiko and Beef Stifado. They were fabulous - really tasty and plenty of it. Definitely one to try while you're in Argassi

The food in Cataways is fantastic the staff are really friendly and helpful and i would definetly go back again. The lad on the door is a right charmer as well, hi Stu. 

This is the BEST restaurant on the island by far!!!!  I'd definately recommend visiting!!!

My friend and I have just returned from Argassi and we ate at Castaways nearly every night.  We thought the food was excellent, especially the moussaka.  We had children and their meals were great too, there was a very little play area but enough to keep the kids occupied whilst the meal was being prepared. Kids enjoyed themselves.  The service was excellent, staff very friendly. If we were to return to Argassi it would definitely be Castaways for tea !!

We have to say though we agree with some of the comments re Peter's bar, the food was terrible, he does try to drag you in, hence the reason we ended up there. Definitely one to be avoided.

Went to Castaways after reading all the rave reviews .... must admit, I to was a little disappointed.

I must admit we tried Castaway based on previous reviews and we were very disappointed, the meals we had were awful, I tried the pasta carbonara and they sauce was watery and all I could taste was the mushrooms, if  I had wanted Al Funghi I would have asked for it.  We did give it one more go on our last night, it was better but still nothing to write home about.

Well what can i say! Myself and my boyf loved this restuarant we were in argassi from the 7/7 - 14/7 and we ate here everynight.. The food was out of this world..i loved the pastichata and jay loved bangers and mash. The staff were great and the service was prompt.. The weather was crap, the resort weren't all that either, but castaways gave us something to look forward too.. Thanks esp' the waiter who has a sore throat, glad the honey and lemon worked.. Hey you guy's need to expand and get ur asses to england we need food glorious food and u know exactly how to achieve this.. Good luck in the future we wish you all well.. We ate there twice, it wasn't the best meal I had over the holiday overcooked chicken and on the second time we went the chicken wasn't cooked enough.

hey, just gotta say, that castaways was definitely the highlight of our holiday!!!we had a pretty crap time, with awful accomadation, a few crappy days weather, bad experiences at the airport, but the staff and food at castaways always knew how to cheer us up!!we came bk so many times that the staff even knew what my dad was gonna order, haha!!!think he'd like me to mention the zakynthian lamb here, haha!!

Castaways was our favourite place to eat - plenty on the plates and at an excellent price too - the Zankinthos Roast Lamb was lush !! A definate must for food lovers !!!

the food the service and the staff are all excellent you must try the sword fish in lemon sauce  they do a great sausage and mash and the puddings are so yummy. Stuart on the door is not at all pushy at trying to get you in ,if you do not go here while on holiday you will have missed out on a great meal it is a place you must go to we ate here 4 nights out of 7

seems to me jenni jones you dont like anywere in argassi best stick to the costa brava i think  not a big fan of this restaurant myself for personal reasons no other reason food is good and the staff are as well

We all loved it here and went back several times.  Lots of waiters/waitresses available making the service fast and efficient.  All were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble, even when we knocked over an almost-full bottle of wine.  If you get there before it gets busy you can pick your own table.  This place had the biggest menu out of all the places we went in Argassi -- even I was spoilt for choice and I'm a veggie!  Large portions -- the desserts looked lovely but we never had room to try them after the main course.  I was very happy with the prices.
