Tassia Studios

i was at the Tassia studios for a week from the 12th june i was just gutted we had to leave. what a fantasitc place!! Kostas was a hero! really couldnt do enough for you. if anyone is considering Zante i would recommend staying at the Tassia. Plenty of things to do in the day with some pool games for whoever fancies it, (bet you cant stay on the inflatible shark)!! big TV in the bar if it gets too hot, pool table, darts etc. 

May even send my girlfiend back to win bingo again. paid for my lobster dinner the night after. what a girl!!

Great nightlife in Laganas to!!!!!!!!

Got back 2nd June, have to say that the Tassia is a brilliant place to stay! Kostas and everyone there are so welcoming and wil go out of there way to make sure you have a good time! Location is a bit of a walk from the main strip and beach, but taxi and bus is cheap as chips if you dont wanna walk. Would definately go back to the Tassia! (reccomended Kostas cocktails - Strawberry Colada and Jelly Bean!!)

Got back from Tassia today n was devo'd !! really didnt want to leave.....Kosta, Moira and his family make u feel really welcome, they wud go out of there way to help you, so ur stay is as enjoyable as possible!! quite a walk away from the strip but the strip doesnt get goin till 12/1 anywayz so best to av some of Kosta's famous cocktails and then walk down cos it seems like a 5 min walk wid d cocktails in ur system! Best places to go......Millagro's, Mad Murphys, Wakiki, X-Paradiso, Bad Boys and last buh not least gota b Cherry Bay!!

Also, One of the most memorable things about our stay at the Tassia, was the other guests, a certain 8 girls from Warrington to be precise, and the chances are they won't even read this but if any of  you do, Just felt like I needed to let you's know, I ain't a boring sod!..Without sounding abit soft, I was just missing a certain someone from home, and I couldnt really let myself go all out, So on the whole it was quality to meet you all, and i'm sorry I wasn't more of a laugh, and i'm sure I speak for Ryan & Dave when I say, Your all top notch girls, and you made a lush holiday even better..

Really is a quality place to stay, Top notch accomodation, granted its a 20 or so minutes walk from the strip/beach, but you can easily get a taxi for €6 to take you straight down from the Tassia.

What An Amazing Holiday, Just Got Back N Had To Add Something To This... Kostas Is Amazing What A Legend If You Have Something Bad To Say Then You Didnt Go To The Tassia!!

hey kostas my brother.....thank you and your family for the best holiday we have had in a long time!!!!! please dont believe the hype about people slagging this place off as they obviously didnt bother with the family who run this!!!!! accomadation was excellent, food excellent and beer excellent. family superb!!!

We have been to Zante several times before, but this is the first time we have stayed at Tassia.Will definatly stay here again, as the rooms were spotless, and had everything we needed. The pool was lovely, with enough sun beds for everyone, the bar does breakfasts and snacks all day, and in the evenings Kosta put a bit of entertainment on, quiz/bingo/greek night etc.

Everyone needs to download STAN BOARDMANS world cup song 2006.  It is very funny and is better than the other world cup song.  Lets hope Kostas wont mind us playin it cos he can get a bit funny.

Just down the road 300mtrs is a great little supermarket "Palataki" lovely people here too. For couples looking for a traditional Greek restaurant try the Apolafsi Taverna just down the side road from the supermarket. We had the best meal ever experienced on Zante in this little Taverna. Hiya me and my boyfriend went to the Tassia 2 years ago but we went to Zante again last year and also to see our mate kostas.  This year we are goin back again with are 2 mates david and vicky who we met at the Tassia first time round.  The apartments are lovely and clean and kostas and his family a nice.  The only thing is, he has a moan with music.  The tassia is a bit of a trek but the good thing is as you gradualy walk down the main strip everything just hits ya and all the restaurants and bars etc are there.  I dont advise walking it in the day becuase it feels like your walking it forever.  Taxi's are cheap and we actually hagled a taxi to 4 euros.  The nightlife is sooo good.  Rescues is a club what has good music and there is loads of bars.  If any scousers are about, pop down to the relax bar and kim and bobby will show ya good time.  seeya in june

We had a proper family holiday the last 2 weeks of september. Me and My fiance Jenna, My Mum Jan, Our family friend Elina, My Sister Claire, My sister Michelle (with bump), her husband Paul and my nephew Connor. It was my fiance first time abroad and our first holiday together, we'd heard all the scare stories in the newspapers about Laganas but going at the end of september was the ideal time for those wanting to miss all the debauchery of the peak season. At the Tassia we met some amazing people, Cathy and Margret to name just 2. Then of course there is Kostas and the rest of the clan, welcoming, warm and genuine......... what more could i ask for in a brother in law eh Kostas!!!!!!! Be warned...... we will be back!!!!!!!!! Up the Fulham, Down the Spurs and Yannis all round!!!!!!!!! See you soon

spent my honeymoon at the tassia studios from oct 10th - 17th. absolutely wonderful. kostas and his family really made us feel welcome. we could have cried when the bus came to pick us up.we will definitely be returning next year with the kids. if your going to laganas you should stay at these studios. and thanks for the just married cake kostas.

Stayed at the Tassia from September 8th to 22nd. Loved the holiday and the appartments. Kostas was cool, and would go out of hs way to help you find things and give you advice. He's also good if you want a chat about football, and puts on some good nights, Greek BBQs, Cocktail nights, Bingo, Comedy nights, Kareoke etc.
We really enjoyed it and would definately go bgack again.

Just got back on Sunday from a week @ Tassia Studios! Could've cried when the bus came to collect us at the end of the week! Had the best holiday ever, and really would go back there in a second!

The Tassia Studios is a great plase to go if you are looking for a nice relaxing holiday. The small but very friendly family run appartments is a perfect place to unwind and take in the sun. costas is a true gentelman who will look after every one of his customers. He works hard but always finds time to talk to every one. it was a great holiday.

Glad every1 had the same great experience at tassia that we did. i know every1 keeps goin on about how much a great bloke kostas is but he really is a top man. really wouldnt mind goin back next year for another fortnight in the sun!

Got back from Zante yestarday, we stayed at the Tassia, would recommend these studios to anyone thinking of going on holiday to Zante. Kostas(the man who owns it) will go out of his way to do anything for you, can be sarcastic at times, and its a bit of a shame that he supports Tottenham!!! lol! The studios are a bit from the main bit of Laganas but taxis were only 6 euros anywhere! The room themselves are pretty basic but very clean, but they are only somewhere put your head down at nite!

Had a great holiday here and would definately go back! 

kosta and his family are like our second family its like our second home love them to bits and would not go any were else he is part of our lives like we are to him

stayed at the tassia for the last 3 out of 4 years excellant hospitality. the whole family have respect for all there guests.the apartments are very clean and tidy.kosta is the life of the whole place. he trys to keep everyone entertained and the apartments running smoothly. i will be back next year again as i treat it like my second home.    

just got home from tassia! all we could say is costa is da man!! looked after us especially when we lost one of our stupid mates and also through the motor bike accident (those who were out there from the 22nd till the 29th will probably know!)

Just got back (22nd aug) from a week in laganas,stayed at tassia and what can i say?? The place is wicked and as you have probably gathered Kostas is the nicer bloke u will ever meet, he is quite strict about his rules but as long as u play by them he will do anything for u. The rooms are spotless and are cleaned everyday, the pool is just right and the location is lovely. it is quite far away from the strip with all the bars but it is so easy to get a taxi (which kostas can organise for u) and it only costs 6 euros. The strip is full of great bars some quite expensive but definatly worth a visit especially Rescue which puts on an amazing fire show each night with half naked men what could be better!! overall best holiday had and would definatly go back again given the chance. would recommend to anyone & say hello to kostas from Zoe n Sexy Carly when u see him! he will understand!

Hi to evry1 who stayed at tassia frm the 27th june to 11th july. 4 of us stayed at Tassia and i have to say we had a boss holiday. Kosta couldn't have been nicer he was so friendly and made evry1 there feel welcome. for thoses who are unsure of the location of these studios they are rite at the top of the lagana road or the main strip. it is about a 30 min walk to the centre so it is nice and quiet so u can get some sleep.

Our first Holiday to Zante and will definately be going back, and definately staying here!! Costas is the friendliest person in the world!! Had a great time! Sad to be home!  But will be back next year!!

.....   we wasnt stayin at these apartments. but kostas made all of us feel welcome. he is a really nice genuine bloke who would do anything for you. he was never in a bad mood even though he never had any sleep. the pool was excellent it was always kept clean. . we all just want to thankyou for making us welcome and making our holiday even more enjoyable xxx

Got back from tassia yesterday. would highly recommend it, very clean and quite. quite a way from the bars tho which can be a problem wen very drunk lol. costas is a great bloke but he never sleeps. no matter wot time of the morning u stumble back, he is always there to greet ya lol. defo would go back! will add sum pics wen i get chance

hey i had a brill time at tassia, i really miss all my new friends there, kayle was well funni. sarah n kat they were brill. callum was my new little friend with his big mouth.

costas was brill, he let me work behind the bar. HE NEVER SLEEPS LOL!

Me and my friend Alison spent a week at the Tassia Studios from 23rd June.  We are now home and got heavy holiday blues.  We enjoyed our stay at Tassia, despite it being a little out of the way.  We just got taxis down to the main strip each night, and occassionally walking home (doesnt feel as bad when your drunk) - takes about 45 minutes to walk to main strip/beach area.  The apartments themselves were clean enough with the maid cleaning our apartment every day, changing the towels and emptying the famous toilet bin!! Costas was fun and friendly and when he realised that he couldn't make us quieten down all the time he left us to it.  Maybe not an ideal setup for younger couples/groups.  There is a no visitors policy which didnt bother us but might bother some and Costas is keen to keep the noise to a minimum after a certain hour.  As I said he realised it was better to leave us to calm down rather than be a fatherly figure and force us to be quiet - cos we just got worse. 

Would go back in a minute. 

Spent a very relaxing week at the Tassia Studios and a great week overall in Laganas, despite Tassia being a little out the way, just meant we got taxis at night down to the main strip.  The apartments themselves were certainly clean enough and the made came in and emptied the loo bin every day, changed towels etc.  Quite enjoyed the fact that there wasn't loads of people there, meant you got to know all your neighbours and  catch up on the goss with them over the pool.  We had a laugh with Costas after he realised that no matter what he did or say we wouldn't keep the noise down - think he realised in the end that he was better to just ignore us and we would quieten down.  Maybe not ideal for young lively groups obviously not much to do during the day other than lie by the pool unless you fancied walking in the 40 degree heat.

Going to Tassi studios on Sunday.Never been to Greece. Are there alot of mosquitos at this time of year? Do the windows have screens on them and is there a fan in the room? Had a great week with Costas and his family. They make everyone feel at home. Only problem was the distance from the main town, must be two miles to the beach so make sure you are wearing comfy shoes.  Apartments basic but clean, advise you take a bath towel as no fun drying on hand towels.  He is very accommodating and will help you in any way he can. Food at the snack bar is very good if you want something quick in the day and he makes a good English breakfast.  If you can hire a car I would recommend for a couple of days as it is a shame not to see the island.  Have a lovely time everyone who is going but dont expect the night life on your doorstep.  The closest Supermarket is very good and helpful and we found Jimmys taverna very good to eat about 15min walk away.  Lots of bars/restaurants in the main centre and taxi is only 5E so suggest you fill the cab to save some money. Very sad when time to leave

Hi We stayed at the Tassia in May 2004. Costas and his parents and staff take pride in the business and we had a great time here. Coming home was hard as it felt like home for the two weeks we were there We met quite a few guests who return to the Tassia as its such a nice place to stay. How far from the beach and strip.. .. Tassia is right at the end of the Laganas road near the radio masts so its probably about 2 miles to the beach from the aparts. Our first week we walked it everyday.. 1 to the beach 2 back to aparts from the beach 3 back into town for the night 4 did it some nights but got a taxi now and then.. Taxi back from the main strip was €5 (usual rules apply here ask how much before you get in) 2nd week we hired a jeep There is a great little supermarket nearby The Palataki again really nice people in there anything you need is no problem to them although they stock everything you could need on holiday.. And just round the corner if you want a Traditional Greek restaurant is the Apolafsi Grill Taverna just a hundred metres down the side road to the Agrilia supermarket.. This little taverna is tucked out of the way and quiet but is one of the best in Laganas we found.. Say Hi to Costas from Pavlos..

I have stayed with Kostas and his family on three separate occasions. All were excellent holidays. Depending on your age; the beach is at least half an hour away but worth the walk or taxi ride which is very cheap. Along the route are shops, tavernas, english resturants and lots of bars. As for the accommodation, I have only the highest opinion of cleanliness and the friendly atmosphere. I am in my thirtys so the entertainment on some of the nights at the apartments suited me when I didnt fancy 'clubbing'. Bingo, Karaoke and an excellent Greek night so; if you are going for a week thats three nights entertainment!!!! An overall relaxing, clean and family run environment just out of the hustle and bustle of the busy night life in town and yet not too far away to enjoy it - the reps pub crawl are excellent fun and the watersports on the beach and boat trips are superb. Enjoy!!!

we stayed with kostas 30 sept 2004 fantastic time his greek night was the best kostas and his family joined in dancing etc made us welcome and made our holiday the best many thanks from martyn rose carole roger mike and christina from wales

We have just arrived back from Tassia Studios and we have ha a great 14 days and Costas was great and very helpful his staff was als helpful the food and amenities was very good bath towels were on hand at the reception we did not have no problem in getting anything we wanted to go down to the strip and beach in lagunus takes 30 miuetes to walk and it is a very nice evening stroll to go by taxi costs 6 euros Costas will call you a taxi the resturants on the strip were very good we never had a bad meal we will be going back to Tassia Studios next year as we have made a lot of friends

Want an honest opinion? My holiday at the Tasia studios was great - the people there were lovely. The pool you can use everyday from 9am till 8pm. Although you are only allowed to have food and drink that you have bought from the pool bar - ice creams are around 2euros, but you can buy a big bottle of water for 1euro. there is a selection of food - mostly around 5euros and you can get full english for about 3. when you have your talk from your rep - you will have a complimentary local drink - which is ouzo and water. althou think it might not be to everyones taste. There is a strict no guests policy in operation and Kostas (who owns it) will inform you of it when you arrive. Kostas is a nice man and his family all speak good english. It takes 25 mins to walk into the main strip and will cost around 5 euros in a taxi. We usually walked in and got a taxi back. There is a great restaurant called paradise and its on the right hand side as you walk down to the strip. its recommended that if you do want a night on the town then have a karaff of wine - as its really cheap to get your night started. But if you want to pay more - they have a delicious sweet white wine!
in the strip everyone will try and get you into their bars! So dot be surprised if people start following you for a couple of meters.
Rescues is a wicked club and bar. The staff when the song fire starter comes on do a display of juggling alcoholic bottle lit up and then they blow fire over the bar - they do juggling and other stuff - its good to watch. If you want to chill out you can go upstairs although this does get busy as the night goes on. Rescues finishes at about 4pm - but you can spend all night there. Cocktails and dreams is wicked - cocktails for 2euros and the selction is massive! plus the music is great! not just if your drunk
bad boys is ok although to expensive - two bottles of wkd for 10euros!
cherry bay is good for cheesy music - and the dj is in a boat in the middle of the room.
there is a club called black and white and they do a beach party - although it starts off at baywatch. its 30euros and a complete wate of every cent. its free drinks all night, and a bbq, and free entry into a club. But its really sleazy especially the games the organisers want the girls to play. the bbq is litterally on just one tiny table - keep well away!
in the main strip there is also a buckin broncho, a kfc, pizza hut and a macdonalds. For those who want to stick to what they know

Back to the tasia - the pool is great, theres loads of sun beds, and there are bat and balls, lilos and rings that are available. also parasols are avaiolable - free.
Recommend having a frappe - they are great - especially first thing in a morning. kosta organises quiz nights and bbq nights on a tues. In the quiz - if you have the best name then you get free shots. the bbq is good and gets everyone involved in the studios.
The rooms are ok - make sure you keep your curtains drawn otherwise you will walk back into an oven! There is a table on the balcony which you can eat on. There is no kettle or tv in your room. There is a hob thing and there is a a saucepan and a frying pan for your use. Also two of everything - cups spoons etc..
its a good base - but your holiday is what you make of it.

We went to the Tassia from the 2nd to the 16th of August. We had a great time, the nightlife was fantastic very loud, and lots of lovely restaurants downtown, beach in laganas was a bit average, went to the st nicholas beach a bit further away which was excellent with loads of watersports. costas was a cracking bloke, but his nephew Dimitrous needed a punch he was a cheeky little dipstick. rooms were fine but didnt like how they would come checking it at night when they knew we had gone out and turned our fridge down so everything had melted. Argassi was a lovely place a lot quieter, Kalamaki also nice, definetely go on the go karts as they were superb.

We've just got back from the Tassia studios and have had one of the most enjoyable, relaxing holidays ever. Costas (who owns it)and his family work really hard to keep the place so clean and tidy and are really friendly too. The apartments are immaculate, but basic and have a hob and a large fridge. We had our room serviced and clean towels every other day. I would definately take a bath towel though, as the towels supplied are a bit on the small side (but like the rep said the Greeks prefer to use small towels to dry themselves). Before we went to the Tassia, we thought the distance to Laganas would be a problem, as some people made it sound as if it was in the middle of nowhere, but in fact Laganas is one long street and the Tassia is at the beginning of it with the beach at the end. We walked it once and it took us 25 minutes to reach Laganas, but I wouldn't recommend walking it in the dark, as there are no pavements or lighting until you reach Laganas and anyway we used taxi's, which Costas phoned for us and cost around 5 euros each way, which isn't much. The food at the pool bar is gorgeous and has a good range at a good price (my favourites were the mousaka and spaghetti carbonara). Just down the road is the Palataki supermarket, which has everything you will need and they are really friendly too and opposite that is the Palataki restaurant, which was really nice, one of the nicest meals we had in Laganas. Just remember to take your earplugs as one of the waitresses is a bit on the loud side and when she brought our drinks over she shouted "YAMMAS", we all jumped a mile! The Tassia in our opinion is in a great location as you can have peace and quiet and enjoy yourself at the pool bar, where we spent many a night drinking Costas' cocktails and jugfulls of his dad's homemade wine (which by the way is like rocket fuel!!) or you can go into Laganas and party until dawn. Every Tusday Costas has a Greek BBQ night, we went on our first week. We paid 5 euros each and got a platefull of traditional Greek food and a glass of rocket fuel, which was lovely and then his nieces and nephews took it in turn to do Greek dances, it was a really nice night. The Tassia is the first stop-off after the airport, so your only on the coach for about 5 minutes, which is also a bonus. All in all we had an excellent time at the Tassia Studios and Martin and I plan to go again sometime next year.

I have jut got back this morning from the the Tassia studios. I went with my boyfirend and we met so many people. Costas is crazy but can get moody coss he doesnt ever sleep. Costas favourate phrase is 'excellent'. He says it all the time.
The appartments are small but clean and tidy. whoever go's to the tassia tell costas hello from jayne and paul and say hello dimitrous. Just say doritos and stuey and hello know who your talkin about. If your lookin for a day out go to cameo island. its right of lagana beaches. its a little island with rope bridge crossing to it. It has a bar and a dj playing music. Its a good idea to bring snorkels because u can see al the tiny fish and also may see a turtle like we did. 5 times!
Hopefully we will be going back the tassia next year for another boss holiday.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Tassia from the 28th of June until the 12th of July, it was fantastic. We met loads of friends while we were there and lived it up in the town which is a taxi ride away. The good thing is you can also have relaxing nights at the studios, such as drinking Costas blue hawian cocktail, very nice. Costas and his family are really nice who own the studios and make your stay really enjoyable. We hope to be returning next year with the friends we've met from this year so see ya soon Costas, Thankyou Please!

Hello I have booked a holiday to the Tassia, from 1st July to 8th, with my boyfriend-who has just decided not to come because we have split up! i have asked people i know and people i dont know but because its such short notice, nobody can come with me!. So, i am now goin on my own! im 17 and i wondered if there is anyone on here who is going at the same time? do middle aged people go? coz my mom was thinkin of comin but i dont know if she would like it?

Hi there, my friend and I have just returned from a week at the Tassia apartments. We had a great holiday, apartments are very basic but are clean, pool is really nice and the bar serves good meals as well as drink. The main strip is actually at least an hour's walk, so if you have been told 20 minutes by the travel agent, that's a lie. A taxi is about 5 or 6 Euros down the strip and Kostas will be happy to phone one for you.

Would definately recommend the Tassia apartments, just watch out for Mosquitos, am covered in bites and it isn't a pretty sight, if you have problems with this, take prevention!

ME AND MY BROTHER MIKE STOPPED AT THE TASSIA (1st-7th june)HAD A FANTASTIC TIME. THE STUDIOS ARE SPOTLESS,THE BAR SERVES SOME GREAT FOOD WHENEVER YOU WANT AND THE SERVICE IS GOOD. KOSTAS IS A STAR AND HE AND IS FAMILY WORK REALLY HARD TO MAKE EVERYONES STAY REALLY ENJOYABLE AND COMFORTABLE. IF GOING DOWN THE STRIP ON A NIGHT IS YOUR THING,ITS ONLY A SHORT TAXI RIDE AND IS SAFER THAN WALKING AS THE GREEKS TEND TO DRIVE A LITTLE FAST.WE HAD A REALLY GOOD LAUGH WITH A WIDE RANGE OF PEOPLE FROM FAMILIES TO SINGLE GROUPS AND THE BBQ AND KARAOKE WERE A SCREAM.SPECIAL MENTION TO A FEW PEOPLE, NICKIE,JILL,NICK WERE ALL A GOOD LAUGH AND ESPECIALLY LISA MY KARAOKE PARTNER AND LITTLE REECE HER SON WHO WAS A STAR (UP THE VILLA NEXT SEASON)RECOMMEND TO ANYONE AND THANKS AGAIN KOSTAS SEE YOU SOON.

we just had one of the most relaxing hols of our lives at the tassia apartments....costas who owns it is one hell of a guy....we went oct 5th to oct 20th and took our 13yr old son and there were no other kids there..costas went beyond the call of duty and made my sons week by playing pool with him when he could have been resting (he works all the hours god sent ! ) and gave him a little job in the bar on a night collecting glasses etc for all the tips and free drinks and choc he wanted ...the apartments are basic but very clean and nothing is too much trouble for costas and his lovely family....it is a 40 min walk into the town and beach but we found all we needed by the pool (as in cold beer at the bar ) we will definately be going back and taking the rest of our family.

Good holiday Kostas accomodation and complex was very clean.You make a very good host especially when you have three tv,s on at the same time showing all different football matches.Yourself and your mum and dad work very hard keeping the complex going and I would recommend it to anyone for a holiday.It was a nice half hour walk down to the beach.Hope to see you again Kostas. First time to Zante, weather was different. Not quite what we had expected, thunderstorms were spectacular though.
Kostas, Tassia, Dimitri & staff all worked very hard to ensure everything went smoothly. Yes they did keep an eye on the younger ones coming back late at night, but this was to protect the peace and quiet for other guests. Not that we heard any noise at night.

Resort of Laganas is geared for 18-30 holidays so if you don't like loud club music or karaoke you will struggle to find entertainment. In the Tassia you could watch television until you were blue in the face! Films, FOOTBALL!!, Only Fools & Horses etc. Not quite what I had hoped for, I can watch TV for 50 weeks a year, but I don't really want to watch it whilst on holiday.
To go into Laganas from the Tassia would take approx. 30 -40 minutes walk (dark road no pavements) or a taxi at 5 euros each way. Some very good restaurants in the resort, Akropolis was one of the best, we went 5 times in two weeks. Also Rubies for Chinese or Indian was good. Snacks at Tassia were also very good.
Kostas did put on a Greek night for us, this was a good night until three young ladies from apartments over the road decided to join in! They ended up taking over the whole night and spoiling it for others. They were drinking like it was going out of fashion and got louder and louder. I am not against others enjoying themselves but there is a limit to what you can stand. They were vulgar and crude to say the least. We paid for our evening, they didn't, they were like three Prima Donnas looking for attention, (grow up girls the world does not revolve around you) Kostas tried to cool them down by throwing them in the pool, sadly this only made them squeal louder!! AGGHHH!!!. It also gave Tassia more work to do as she had to follow them around with a mop trying to keep the floor dry in case anyone fell.
We met some great people whilst we were there and that is what a good holiday is all about. Too many names to mention, but HI everyone, thanks for your company. But I have to mention wee Dillan, he was a star. He was just coming up for two and he toddled about the whole time, he was always smiling. So Hi Dillan, miss you xxx.
Pity Tassia studios was not in Tsilivi as that is where our next holiday is likely to be. But we will pop in and see you Kostas. Many thanks for making our holiday enjoyable. Bob & Dianne (Roberta!!)xx

Zante is surely the mankiest of the Greek Islands, i cannot believe there could be anywhere dirtier than that. Kostas was nice when you where buying something from his bar but, this asside on the your back about something or other........we won't mention the evil, impatient waitress!!!. The hotel was far too far out of town, even half way to town was a quiet location, it must have been 2 miles to walk or 5 Euros a taxi, times 4 if you want to go to the beach in the day and out for dinner at night = 20 Euros a day just on taxi's. The hotel was clean, but we did have a rather gross smell of sick greeting us when we got up one morning from the open drain in our bathroom......not nice! would like to say hi to paul and kathy who shared with us the few good nights we did have, you were fun !!.

Just got back from the prison which was the tassia studios! I totally agree with jodie's comments. Costas = Terminator, his dad = Robocop. They never sleep and are always on your back, in fact i'm sure the Costas who everyone is going on about was on holiday when we were there. The same thing happened with our friends in the room (ie not allowed in) but he would happily take their money at the bar, i mean what were they going to do steal our clothes?? they're our friends. Ok for couples or groups of lads or lasses on their own, basic but clean, nice pool.The staff were very friendly people, food was nice at the snack bar where they done a range of good food from good old traditional bacan and egg breakfasts to rolls or sandwiches or carbonara nice food i have to say. Took my daughter with me stayed 7th August till 14th August 2003 but would have helped if some people wernt so blooming noisy about 4- 4.30 am i know its a holiday but some people do want to sleep, (off the alcohol) had enough to last me a lifetime. However the location was great away from the centre cost 5 euros to get there not bad. The only down side i would say is that it maybe not suitable for youngsters under the age of 12 in peek time, however this is just my own personal opinion. Im not complaining about the place we had an allocation on arrival so we could have got somewhere alot worse, however had a good holiday and have to say again the food was great there.

We stayed at the Tassia from 24th July- 31st July 2003. We had a fantastic time. Costas and his family made us feel really welcome... it was a real family affair. We were suprised how little sleep he must need. Whenever we were around the pool or at the bar Costas was always there. He works really hard.

The location for us was ideal. Far enough away from the rowdy part of the main strip to get a good nights sleep but near enough to get a taxi ( approx. 4 euros each way)


We would have absolutly no qualms in recommeding it to other people. The only small complaint ( if you can call it that) is that we weren't given enough towels and they were only changed once in the week. But I'm sure if we had asked Costas for more, he would have given us as many as we liked...oh yes, and there's no air-con ( and it's red hot at night when you're trying to blow dry your hair- GIRLS, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!!!!

Me and my girlfriend are staying at the tassia next month, though most of the comments are very positive, the distance from beach / bars is not very clear, can somebody tell me roughly how long it takes to walk to the beach, and into the nightlife? Looking forward to staying

I would just like to add mine and my daughter's comments to this page, we found Kosta and his family very friendly. The only thing that I found hard was the distance between the apartments and the town, I broke my foot in April and have a problem with walking distances. I discovered that the so called 20 minute walk to the town and public beach was probably with the view of someone power walking with roller skates on!
I would also like to add that I met a lot of very nice people there including a few couples namely Adrienne and Gill, Matt and Helen not to mention Eck and Fiona from the Scotish area of our fair Isle! Yassou Kosta and your family!

As per Jodie Ware's comments please note that my boyf and i have known Kostas for over 2 years.
The Bar has never closed at 2 although he would refuse to serve you if you were drunk after being down town all night - as would any owner! As for not letting your friends into your room - there are signs everywhere saying that the rooms are for residents only!
Kostas is a wonderful man and works extremely hard to maintain his property and has total respect of his guests.
I suggest you actually get to know him before you slag him off on the internet.

Kostas had a wonderfull time with you, especially enjoyed the greek night. Nikos's dancing was brilliant think Geoff needs a bit more training though. Haven't talked the girls into coming to see you yet
but there is still a chance because they have not seen the photos yet. Anyone looking for a quiet place to stay in Laganas give this place a try you'll enjoy it.

well what can i say i obvously didnt meet the same man your all raving on about.Having only been there 1 night kostas had me in tears when me and my fiance got back from town which by the way is more than 15-20 minutes away more like 40-45 u should have seen the blisters,anyway we thought that we would have a quite drink before going to bed,but kostas wouldnt serve us cos he said it closed at 2 so we thought never mind then as we walked away he served someone else so we had words and he told us to go to bed he would talk to us in morning i felt like my dad was on holiday with me!.Then r friends came to visit us for our second week they stayed just down the road they were not even allowed in our room it was like a prison.Zante was fab though and would go again.

Kostas, hope u are reading this! just to say that Darren and I are back with you on 29 May 2003 - which is just three weeks away. sad to say that Gemma and James won't be joining us but i am sure we can all have a great time anyway!

Been to Zante 3 times and loved it - Costas and his family made the holiday brilliant. His apartments are spotless, the food is really good and he and his family are amazing. We went in September 2000 and when we went back in August 2001 as soon as we stepped off the coach he welcomed us by our names - how the guy ever remembered is unreal!! Recommend the Tassia to anyone - who cares if it is a 20 minute walk into town?? Love Graeme and Lynsey (Celtics fans from Perth, Scotland) xx
