What a great restaurant.   Fabulouse food 1st rate service and the price is even better.   weve been to Zeppo's 4 or 5 times and enjoyed every visist.   We will be back in May 2008 see you there. Roy Kirsty Jonathan and Lauren.

 what can i say - fab, thank you for lovely fast service, brill food , when the bill came i was so shocked as to how cheap it was, we arrived back on sunday 29th july into sunny (ha ha) manchester and already looking to book for next year - and will be coming back here for sure.

Another brilliant night, I always come back to Zepos as guaranteed fantastic food and great service and atmosphere.  The starters are HUGE!!!  I think next year I will just have a starter and then pudding!  Dinners are fab, also get a bit of a sea breeze on a really hot night!

Ate at Zeppos on our last main day at Kalamaki (Monday 9th July) and the atmosphere and food was fantastic.

hi toni, jimmy and everyone, thanks for some great meals and service . fab place with in my eyes the best meals in kalamaki , we tried most of the greek meals while with you and they were all spot on. TONI GAV SAYS FATTEN UP MORE RABBITS HE IS COMING BACK TO EAT THEM ALL, [LOCAL ZYKINTHIAN STYLE RABBIT IS A MUST TRY AT ZEPOS, ITS FAB!!!!!!]    as for the staff they are superb and with the added bonus of free transport to and from your hotel this place is a MUST TRY on everyones list. near the beach just off the old village strip the restaraunt is clean relaxing and friendly, we will be back. YAMMAS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

Excellent food and service

Zepos is a wonderful family restaurant, and I have taken quite a few members of my family in here over the years. The reception is always very friendly and the staff are very happy to serve you. The food is excellent, I have tried to work my way through the menu, but I am afraid my main course always beats me, maybe thats because I enjoy my starters too much, and I ususally have 2 or 3 of those. I was in Zepos earlier this year, when the weather wasn't so good (end of May, beginning of June), and I will be back next month to sample some more of your cullinary delights and of course, the wine!

We have just come back from Kalamaki, I would recommend Zepos is was one of our favourite restaurants and the staff were great.  We had a different meal every time and we loved all of them.  They were the only restaurant that we went to that really catered for children, with plastics glasses, menus they could colour in and baby changing.  We wished we were still there

We were really impressed by the food here this year, it really has raised its standards. The vegetables are fresh, everything is beautifully presented and really reasonable. Lisa our waitress was fantastic with our children and they loved her which helped us to enjoy our evening more. We will see you all in August, keep up the great work.

Realy friendly welcome ,nice setting and great staff .The english waitresses Lisa and Jodie coudnt do enough and they was full of useful info about the island.Good choice of menu we tried lots of differnt meals with us going there alot during our 2 week stay and once you vist the next time you go you get a free caraf of wine !!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely atmosphere and setting, food not as good as previous visits, both had zakinthian chicken which was ok, cant remember what we had for starters and/or sweet unfortunately..cant have been that memorable, which is a pity, but because its a bit off the beaten track it really needs to try harder with the quality of the food. this place could be amazing, but we only found it to be average when we visited unfortunately 

 We visited this taverna when we saw it one day on our way past the beach road and thought it looked nice, well it was we had garlic mushrooms for starters steak for main meal and no room for a sweet. We had actually ordered sirloin steak but the waiter told us that they had only one but would give us fillet steak for the price of the sirloin we also enjoyed red wine free of charge. All the food was excellent and the service was second to none. (Visited on the week commencing 3rd May 2007)

Great food, lovely location and excellent service.  Our first visit to this restaurant and the Lamb Keftico was delicious

 On our last visit to Kalamaki this was our favourite restaurant.  Unfortunately things have changed.  Frozen vegatables rather over grilled sword fish and very very dry Lamb Kleftico.  Sorry we will not be eating here again. 

Great location, good food, good service.

Bit of a walk with a pushchair from where we stayed at the other end of town, but we discovered it one day and decided to give it a go. Pleased we did as the food we had was pretty good and the service was friendly, but the bonus is sitting just off the beach watching the sun go down and the moon come out. A bit of a problem with flying pests so make sure you spray all over before you go out, or sit inside, but then you lose the best thing about this place.

Great spot, found by accident as we wandered to back lanes. Staff very friendly, even offered us their cook - after the end of the season. The best moussaka we had.

Yet again Zepos won the prize for being our favourite restaurant in Kalamaki.  Staff are helpful and friendly and the food is always excellent.  The ambiance is much better than most restaurants too and the setting is delightful.   Hope we will be back to see you all next year!

Husbands meal was good. My daughters and mine very dissapointing.Pork slouvaki with frozen carrots and cauliflower.Nice view, won`t be going back.

100% the best taverna in kalamaki the food was lush especially the mushrooms a la creme served with roasties mmm i would definatley recommend this place 2 any 1 planning 2 visit.its not on the main strip giving it more class than the otherstop quality food

We had several meals here last time we were on holiday in Kalamaki and every meal was wonderul.  Cannot wait to see you all again in September. 

A great place to eat traditional ,view out to sea lovely food

 had several meals here, each one excellent, lots of typical greek dishes, spoilt for choice.  we like the combi starter where you could choose 3 different starters on 1 plate to be shared by 2, delicious.  getting withdrawal symptons from the food already.  staff exteremly friendly.  try them and see.

We dined here three times in a fortnight & each time the food,service and price were excellent. 5* brandy all round on the house,Greek food at its best!The location overlooking the beach rivals every other taverna we tried.

We would like to thank the management and staff for each and every meal we had at Zepos. There was never a bad plate placed in front of us. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated the way the waiters remembered our young son each time, and brought him a high chair when needed. My partner was also very appreciative of the chocolate cake & sparkler given to her for her birthday on our last night. Will definitely come to Zepos again when next visiting Zante

we dined at zepos for the first time last year, we have been going to kalamaki for several years, we had seen it, but had not been in. how could we have been so stupid, the food was wonderfull, the service was ist class and we look forward to working our way through the menu when we go again in may.

Have eaten several times at Zepos over the four years we have been visiting Kalamaki, and it just seems to get better and better!  The staff are extremely friendly and helpful (and work exceedingly hard!) and the menu choice is great.  We particularly enjoyed the special of a Greek platter - a huge helping but a fantastic way to try out lots of different Greek dishes.  We always spend our last night in Kalamaki at our favourite restaurant - and this year there was no contest - we headed straight for Zepos!

zepos was a very nice restaurant menu was very good plenty to choose from.

staff work very hard to keep everbody happy. location is nice as well right by the beach worth a visit.

I can only apologise. I was unaware of the situation at the time and i was horrified to read your comment later that night on our restaurant comment card.                                                
  I have spoken to my staff and informed them the whole scenario was unacceptable, i should of been made aware of the event at the time.                                                                                                           As a manager, i take pride in what is served at Zepos and i would like  to think that i would only ever serve what i or my family would consume.                                                                                          I have a two year old daughter, and i would be mortified if i had expierienced the very same thing.

On our third visit to Kalamaki we returned  to Zeppos and as usual it was great.It was the cheapest place we visited and is still our favourite.The food is just that bit different from other places.

we ate once here while we were in kalamaki there were 6 of us and we all ordered a main course my children had spag bol when it arrived i asked my husband to chop the spageitti so my 2 year old would find it a bit easer then all of a sudden his picked out a toothpick from my sons meal when we told the waiter he asked if we would like it change, but that was it no sorry or even some money off the bill.

We visited Zepos a couple of times during our one week stay in Kalamaki.

Stayed in Kalamaki from 25th of july till 8th of august 2005, we had our dinner at Zeppo's four times.

Visited here 3 times and every time was great! We tried all the traditional greek dishes and all were spot on! The Kleftiko was a winner with my husband!

Absolutely fantastic food and service.

Just got back from a week in Kalamaki. Took my elderly parents (First time abroad - fussy eaters - etc).

Zepos down by the beach  lovely meal house wine was one of the best, some in other place where very bad ( ask for a taste first or just be prepared to drink bad wine, fantastic food, roast poatotes like you have never tasted before fantastic. be aware that food  is not normally serviced roasting hot ( not that we had any cold meals) that is unless u have soup or something that is cooked in a pot then it's hotter than the sand at mid day, we added ice to my son's soup and it still took years to cool down enough to eat it but he enjoyed it once it did

The service was brill and they give u a feed back form at the end of your meal to help improve there already brill service and food.  

 sadly we didn't discover zepo's till late on in our hol and had no time to return but, we would return again.

We ate in many places in Kalamaki, and Zepos was definitely our favourite and we went there several times.  We loved the food, location, atmosphere and the service - our (slightly fussy) four year old son was treated like a prince, and loved being called 'sir' by his favourite waiter.

We enjoyed Stanis and Michaelos, although I thought that Michaelos' high reputation makes it too busy to have a nice atmosphere.  Try Michaelos when it's quiet, by all means, but don't miss Zepos.

Such a lovely place!

One night they were fully booked but they gave us free wine the next time we visited to compensate. Excellent service!

We eat here and it was lovely. We only found it when we were wondering around. It was resonable and the food was lovely. The Cheese cake is massive and from what I was told, Very lovely! Its a must!

We ate here several times during our holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed every meal we had. One our last night there it was our wedding anniversary and Talis the waiter gave us complimentary wine with our meal. Wish we were back there!!! Lovely memories.

Average at best - I tried the Zakynthos chicken - 1 small chicken fillet sliced in half with a slice of cheese and supermarket ham in the middle. Not awe inspiring.

We went to Zepos & were not really that impressed I had Spaghetti & it was as if it had been zapped in a Microwave, my partner had chicken with a wine & mushroom sauce & it was mushrooms in Vinegar.
So like I said NOT impressed at all with the food. I cannot fault the staff they were very friendly.

We loved this resturant.

The portions of food were really big and tasted gorgeous. The waiter was extremely helpful and friendly. Real value for money.

The setting is very pretty being near the beach.

During our stay we tried most of the 10/10 rated restaurants. Zepos was very good and is well worth a visit, though not the best in Kalamaki. We rated it 8/10.

We had a fantastic holiday and have not got a bad word to say about this taverna. We enjoyed every meal we had at Zepos. Really worth a visit.

The best Lamb Kleftico in the whole of Zante - seriously!!!!

This place was good, we had excellent starters & main courses. Its a beautiful place with excellent views but the service wasnt very good and the waiters spent half the evening trying 2 look down my girlfriends top, the greasy, sweaty & spotty waiter being the worst culprit!

NICE BUT COULD OF BEEN BETTER SERICE WAS GREAT BUT FOOD NOT UP MUCH

Visited Zepos last year as well as this and it's a good restaurant. The setting is peaceful and tranquil and the service is good. There was an English lad serving us and he was very helpful and friendly. My partner had stifado which was good and I had the mixed grill which was good. An all round good restaurant!

We found this Taverna half way through our holiday, and wished we had found it ealrier. We went back every night since and a few times for lunch. They are everything they claim GOOD FOOD, GOOD SERVICE, REASONABLE PRICES. The sea view family atmosphere and pleasant conversation from the boys all added to the best holiday we had in years!!! Next time we're in Zakynthos this will be the only place we'll stop for food!!

we went 8 times in one week. enough said. and the owner's puppy is cute.
