What can I say? First time 2003, fab, 2nd time july 04 fab, 3rd time sept 04 even more brilliant. So many memories, rescues is soo good.

I didnt just like it, I loved it! Rescue rocked and what made it rock were the guys in there! especially jason and sy, lovin lefty sam and murchie too. Was definately the best bar in laganas, closely followed by plus and la bamba....

Great club.. best on the island, drinks wernt cheap but get plastered in the happy hour pubs then hit this one afterwards. Music was awsome all night and the babes dancin on the bars WELL....!!!!

Loved this club was def one of my faves. Played the best music out of all the clubs there. Tended to play the cheesy stuff as well but actually played some house which is more my music!

Bar dancing and free coctails were wckd! Don't think I've ever drank so much sex on the beach in my whole life!

Only went to the part inside the club once which I thought was brilliant wished I had gone in there more but my mates preffered Cherry Bay. PR bloke at the club to the right was fit fit fit!!! I love him! Looked just like Gary Lucy!

Fire breathing was also wckd!

Hi people, i'm a Dj who's going out to Laganas in mid September. I play mainly house, dirty house and tribal. I'm not expecting anywhere to quite play what i play, but was wondering how easy it is to get to play out there. Not after any cash, more just for fun.

I play at a few local nights in the midlands including Baby Passion ( sister night of the night Passion in Coalville, run by same people.. or was before it stopped ) and regularily do broadcasts on Australian and Dutch radio shows, with one coming up in America soon as well.

So if anyone can help me with any information it would be greatly appreciated. will play mainly house, but can dig deep into my record box and find some more 'dancy classics' if necessary.

We loved this bar and the bar staff - Dave, Si, Sam and Clare!! The music was good and pretty varied. Cheap cocktails before 10.30 and free cocktails for dancing on the bar - you just can't say no to that! Fantastic bar / club with fantastic atmosphere - many a good night were had there!

good music, crappy dj, doesnt matter when your drunk. always seems to play the same stuff not that this is a bad thing! (prodigy, underworld, darude) but definitely makes a change to the RNB found everywhere else.

didnt think it was like kingdom (sheffield) much but not been down there much, prefer the republic.

The bar staff were really entertaining!!The music was a bit 94ish old prodigy,the shamen and stuff but easy to go mad to.Really worth a visit not for the go go dancers though

Definitly the best bar in Laganas!! Has the funniest & most entertaining bar staff!! Was there between the 18th-25th July 2004 so if you were there @ that time you probably would have seen me & my friend, Natalie on the bar every night.....well Natalie more than me coz she loved it whereas I just did if for the free drink!! bloody brilliant!! I'll be back!!

went to the club every night it was that good rnb to dance and back gain great tunes pumpin out loved it. the quality of girls were 100% JUICY and for the lads well i dont know wasnt really looking at them.

this was the best club on the island. the best place to dane is on the balcony or on the posdium.their is no crowd getting in your way then. the vodka and coke was a bit steep as it was 7euros. the music is mixed but mainly plays r n b. gotta go back nexy year.

Went to Laganas 3 seasons ago & this place has just got better! Went to Rescue every night - it is without a doubt the best bar/club in Laganas, also home to the cutest glass collector ever - Vania, who deffinitely gets my vote ;-) The bar staff are fantastic, although the girl there wasn't quite as friendly as the blokes! The music is pretty damn good too - make sure you get there before 12 tho cos all the music is turned off outside then.
Well worth a visit. If you haven't already been, get yourselves off!

Us proper Bo kids loved Rescues! Legally Blonde, Clara Loft,
and Bunny loved it on the podium and the bar and maybe
sometimes in bed, miss mindy was the centre of attention with
her little white skirt. Dr Mattiho and Dutchistani pulled top quality
fanjitas apart from the nadia lookalike. Mc Phatterson got some
fitties though, captain planet fell on hard times but private maffia
came to the RESCUE!!!!!! Summer jam was the anthem so put
ur hands up and get on the dancefloor. A big Hi to EDWIN
(jason) and Kurtis, Bruce and Chris from Maidenhead. Also Hi
to CURLS ALOUD and Barry etc from Kent. hi to the poker guys
especially pete who poked legally blonde every nite.We miss

this is the place to finnish your night in! they place trance, old skol, rap, drum and base, and many more. its got a great layout and is a big place. there is a nice chil out balcony outside. its also right in the middle of all the other big clubs and bars!
there should be rescues everywhere!

i think rescue is the best club in the whole of laganas
great atmosphere, music and barstaff! however i was so suprised when i was told that most of the spirits are watered down! i was wondering why i couldn't get pissed in that place, i just put it down to handling my drink.. hope i'm not proved wrong!

the outside bar men are fab.. friendly, fit and willing to give us free shots of what tastes like ribena! anyway.. over all great bar/club, great barmen and not fogetting your cute glass collectors, paul and vania!

Well I got back on Friday 18th June.....and wish I was still there. The bar staff were amazing, and the fact you could get up there and dance on the bar was even better (and you get a free cocktail for doing it!!!)
The Rescue Bar & Club were by far the perfect girlie night out while in Laganas, and i didn't find anotehr place like it when i was there.

The staff was great an how they flair an dance an everythin an would not see nothing like this back in england so if i was you i would go there. It is good, i went there last year i was 17 then. Men the ladies are all after the older men, so ladies your be fine but for us young men it was much harder.

I have not yet been to Laganas, but me and my 4 girlfriends are coming for the summer holydays. We were wondering if this club suits girls at the age of 18? It looks like the people at the club are a bit older, and that it might bee a little boring for us..Any comments or recomandations?

You gotta hit this place its pretty cool. Cocktails are cheap til certain hours and the barmen ...not sure of their names..but they are cool (the blonde english guy is very fit!). They keep you entertained and can show Tom Cruise a few things !! Free shots every night, throughout the nite! And of course wicked tunes and sport on the box!

we went end of season it was difficult to find a place with anyone in it! liked zeros alot but did end up in rescues as it was slightly cheaper and there wasnt a p**vert behind a cam corder sticking chests and a**es up on the video screens!

Rescue is probably the liveliest place in Laganas.Any girl who gets on the bar to dance has her drinks payed for all by the manager,they set the bar on fire and top you up with free shots.Barstaff are brilliant especially the aussie fella trying to do a cockney accent what a character.All in all a good club a little more expensive when you go out the back when the actual dancefloor opens but your bound to have a good night there.Plays a mixture of up too date music.

Definetly go back its probaly the best bar in Laganas ty,gerry,craig all really really funny especially the dance to Bohemian Rhaspody and Adam Sandler.Loved the boxing matches brilliant ideas all what goes on is truly funny and well worth going there for a good night out every night.

REscue was another great club...especially if your in need of some tounge action.....get in the cages and you'll be guarenteed to complete your number!! ;) even if it is 10!

Hi!! Came home from Zante/Laganas one week ago!!! I miss it so much!!! I had the time of my life!!! Me and my 3 friends had so much FUN!!!! Nice boys...and everything was so great!! I miss it... I don't think it is called 'The Bongo Song' as that's by safri Duo and was out ages ago. I've asked loads of people but i STILL don't know what it's called. Even singing it in Virgin Megastores didn't help. They didn't have a clue what i was going on about!!! It isn't the Zorbas dance, which they did round the bar. That's a great tune though.

brilliant club although the bar men are a bit annoying and p**vs to.always get fine birds on the bar dancing away but they will never pull you just tease you.loadz nice birds on the floor though and the podiums above the big screen are quality was always up there with the other 7 4 on each.drinks a bit more £ in here but a good nite out

Rescues is the best pub/club we found in Laganas, it is wicked.

CASH POINTS- theres about 3 of them dotted along the main strip. If your cards got the Maestro or cirrus logo on the back then you can use it in the cash points.

fantastico we came from kalamaki for a couple of nights to come here (only here because the people who took us knew the barman-free drinks!) how come curly-tots (lambroso) isnt on the rescues website? well anyway, it was a fab club,definately recommend it !! :)

I went to Zante in May 2000 for 2 weeks, at that time the bar men were Tyson, Billy and Rob. All fantastic blokes and they are SO much better than Tom Cruise doing the bottle dances and stuff. The music is just normal chart and club music, nothing too cheesy though! going back on 1st July 2003 cant wait to have another "Slippery Nipple" cocktail!!!

Number one Bar in Laganus. The guys work hard and OK its not a lot different each night BUT if ya go to Laganus ya gotta visit this place. Gotta give credit where credits due ya get served quick enough and at 7 Euros for a vodka and redBull at least the bar staff told ya B4 they served it. If ya only visit one bar early on in the evening visit Rescues for the entertainment. The clubs is ok but not a lot different to the others....oh SOZ MR D J but the munkey is on a world tour and not for sale....

HEEY!! We were six (five the last week) Norwegian girls travelling together. We had a great time, and Rescue Club was the greatest club to go dancing in!! We stayed at the Blue Waves hotel. We came to Laganas August 1. and left 2 weeks later. We were at Rescue all days except 2! Highly recommanded club!!!!!!

To settle the argument, the fab 'put your hands up' including the lines 'engine engine number 9' is called 'BE FAITHFUL' BY FAITH EVANS and you can find it on the Rescue r n b CD sold in the bar for 15 Euros. It is spelt Rescue also. I love this place, I lived in it for two weeks, i love Jase the DJ, Kostas, Stretch, plasterboy, Italian and Aussie! not much to be said about the drinks over priced and s**t. but upstairs was a class place to met birds. i also recall it being a good hunting ground for my mates marc, paul (alex) and sean. some how i also recall some names such as jennifer, how was so gagging for my mate all week she started stalking him. so my advise fcuk em and aviod em. big it up waltham abbey.

me and my mates caught hardcore bantar in this place and then hardcore other things with girls after. The bar outside upstairs was a very good hunting ground for my mate Sean, sarah from buckinghamshire and jennifer from paisley outside glasgow were a couple i recall. Rescues bar was probably our favourite bar, barman are good fun & very lively. Drinks cost 15 euros(10 quid) - 2 vodkas/red bull, or 2 bottles of vodka kick 10 euros(6.70)

This place was great, the best club on the island. The tunes were banging and the atmosphere was fantastic. Can I just say though, no of us there realised the tables/bars were red until we got the photos back. Perhaps this was due to the vast amounts of cocktails we had before going in.

can i just say has anyone,ever seen those group of guys who dance in front of the centre dance floor.in a sort of rehea**ed dance.there are about 5-6 of them? do anyone else remember seeing them?,they were also in zeros.

After trying to get served for 20 minutes we left. The barmen are more concerned with less than attractive fe-males? at the bar. Also the drink is exspensive 600dr for a 330ml bottle of mythos, considering you can get a 500ml one at Argo bar for 500dr and a pint (586ml) of draft at Millagros for 600dr. Top tip if you a bird with a bloke don't bother, if your a bloke on your own or with mates/girlfiend don't bother.

went to zante on the 24th june 2001 for 2 weeks and everynight went to rescues or zeros. the two are very similar. rescues has the edge though. the barstaff in there are spot on kid! tyson the aussie is well sound and gave us free shots all the time. the girls in there are fit but fussy, how could i compete with all the 20+ year olds( im only 16 ) the drinks are a s**tty price but all in all its a buzzing club. so erm.... big up to the merseyside boys!

This place was excellent. By far the best place to go on the island. One thing that I did not like though was having a 2ft baton shoved in my face for no reason by the security. I have read other peoples comments and I am not alone.

Rescue is the best club we went to. The music is good although they sometimes play the same mixes on different nights. Its free like most of the Laganas clubs but be prepared to pay quite a lot for drinks.

This was a fantastic bar! I loved it, the bar staff were great, they were really entertaining and good to talk to. Tyson was my favourite, he was funny and really friendly. He gave away a lot of free drinks and free shots. The other guys were great, Rob was also cool (he’ll fix it for you! Once you go there you’ll know what I mean!) so was Pete and Chambers, they gave away loads of free stuff! The best place we went to. Your choice is very limited though as only bars that are enclosed and can keep the music in are allowed to stay open - and only till 4am! Only Zeros, here & Cherry Bay are worthwhile after midnight. Not too expensive and played the best dance music towards the end. Oh there is no dress code anywhere!

Not a bad night out. It is your typical hoiday nightclub nothing serious - a bit tacky really. It is always busy and the drinks aren't badly priced. We liked the top bar as it was cool and quiet up there. An ideal place to chill out.

Excellent choice for fun night. The bar staff are very entertaining. Would definately recommend this bar!
